Station - Hostel for Backpackers

No hand towel in the washroom, only 2 per floor. Showers reeked like cigarettes too, but fantastic location and for the price I can't really complain

Hébergement simple, rapport qualité/prix en cohérence. Ne pas oublier vos serviettes et savon/shampoing :) Central et pratique Environnement calme et sûr

The check in time is changing without notice in advanced. And the reception is not 24 hours. Shower room didn't provide any gels. And the room don't have any regulation, roommate is so annoy.

Me gustó la velocidad de preparación de la comida. Muy buen sabor. Lo que no me gustó fue que tendrían que avisar de llevar un candado propio. Yo lo llevé por si acaso.

The accommodation is cheap and basic but is conveniently situated with a 5min walk of the railway station. The rooms were clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable but the bar area was tatty and dull with ripped sofas and I feel there should have been more toilets. Only 2 on each floor so often occupied.

Die Lage des Hostels ist super. Die Ausstattung spartanisch. Während des heißen Sommerwetters wäre - wenn schon keine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist - wenigstens ein Ventilator angenehm. Aber ich werde wieder ein Zimmer in diesem Hostel buchen.

location was great and in a very close distance to the train station. and the central attractions. Cleanliness, was good for the amount paid. bed linings were clear and ready to be fitted to the bed by ownself. Staff were helpful but very busy all the time dealing with customers. Facilities needed for a backpacker were sufficient: WiFi, Socket, Space to sit and eat and work and enjoy the time. Bar and reception area was however, noisy and tiny and crowded most of the times. Happy to come again if needed for a low budget visit to the city.

Sadly I had a terrible experience at the Station Hostel. I booked 3 months in advance for a private room for a 2 night midweek stay during my trip to Germany. The location is absolutely fantastic, just minutes from the main station. Check in was friendly and efficient and I was pleasantly surprised when I got to my room. Super clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, nice big windows allowing plenty of light. Small desk and a lovely compact small toilet and shower. Bedding, towels and toiletries were provided and a modest €1 is charged per extra towel if you need more than one. The common areas on the ground floor are lovely and the bar / restaurant is cosy and very welcoming. This could have been such a pleasant experience. It wasn’t the hotel that ruined it, it was the groups of teens staying in the rooms around me. I had room 409. Rooms 410,411 and 412 had students in them who partied and misbehaved until well after 4am. I got absolutely no sleep for doors slamming, furniture being thrown about, shouting, swearing, screaming, running and fighting in the hall ways, banging on walls….. it was absolutely AWFUL. They behaved like animals with total disrespect for any other guests trying to sleep. Sadly the staff leave at midnight and so there isn’t anyone there to deal with noise complaints and people can simply behave as they wish. I left to go about my day the next day but felt tired and came back to try and have a nap in the afternoon, however the party had started a

Request to the management for providing towel. They didn't mentioned before booking. Thank God luckily I got my own towel this time

It was very loud in the evening and there were lots of young people You couldn't shower, it wasn't clean

The location of the hostel was ideal, walking distance to everything. My group stayed in a quad room and it was neat and clean.

Close to everything. Easy to get to the city center and the Hbf. Easy to check in and get to the room. Turned out it I had bedbugs in the room, so I’m covered in bites. But we solved it on the hostel. You hear everything, so the dudes that showered on Saturday to Sunday at like 1 and singing I could hear it all.

Hotel muy ruidoso. LImpieza deficiente

Die Lage ist top, für nur eine Nacht kann man es verkraften zu dem Preis. Vor allem die Sanitäranlagen sind schlimm, ich hätte mich dort nicht waschen können. Aus dem Abfluss im Badezimmer (Damen, 2. Stock) kamen lauter kleine Fruchtfliegen und einige Abortfliegen waren auch unterwegs. Die Klos werden zwar von den Gästen verschmutzt, aber dann muss man mehr dahinter sein. Auch mit der Buchung lief irgendetwas falsch, zuerst funktionierte meine Kreditkarte nicht (NICHT deren Fehler), dann bekam ich die Daten für die Banküberweisung. Danach meldete man sich nicht bzw. wollte keinen Nachweis der Überweisung sehen, somit dachte ich es hätte alles geklappt. Bei Ankunft wurde mir gesagt, dass sie das Bett eigentlich storniert hätten, da ich nicht gezahlt habe. Somit musste ich erneut zahlen (in bar vor Ort) und muss jetzt per Mail die erste Zahlung wieder zurückfordern oder von meiner Bank die Überweisung irgendwie retournieren lassen. Ziemlich unnötiger Aufwand.

The whole property, although in a nice neighborhood, appears shabby and grimy. The mattress should have been replaced years ago, and it sagged and gave me a back-ache when I got up, which affected my holiday.

I know hostels can be noisy, but screaming and shouting at 2am, 4am and 6am was too much even for me. Even the earplugs I had didn’t block it out. Staff were great though, would just be nice to see some ‘Be respectful of other guests’ signage around to remind the serial shouters.

Buena ubicación cerca de lugares interesantes. Limpio, cómodo y agradable.

Vi skulle bare sove og gå i bad - så det var rigtig fint. Der var ikke så meget service til morgenmaden og ingen juice første morgen.

Für junge Gäste optimal für ältere die es gerne ruhiger haben nicht zu empfehlen. Abends ist party in der dazugehörigen bar/resturant was natürlich zu einer erhöten lautstärke führt und das erschwert natürlich das schlafen. Fazit wer zum Party machen nach Köln kommt ist hier super aufgehoben. Für alle anderen nicht zu empfehlen
