At Foldens Hotel, guests appreciate the very central Skagen location and friendly staff, and many enjoy breakfast and restaurant meals, but rooms can feel small or dated, get warm without AC, and some report noise from music or street.

This hotel has a great location right across from the train station and on the pedestrian street. There were many restaurants and shops within walking distance of the hotel. Location was the main perk; the hotel is old and the rooms were not well maintained (peeling furniture, dingy). We weren't prepared that nightlife outside the hotel was loud, lively, and drunken on a Saturday night until about 2am (with stragglers yelling in the streets until 4am). Spent a sleepless night here, and it is not much for the cost (but all Skagen is very expensive).
