Very clean facility. Fresh coffee/ tea bar all day in lobby was wonderful. The breakfast had loads of options and was fresh and hot. I inquired about late check out and they accommodated no problem. The staff in encountered was all friendly and professional. My daughter enjoyed the nice pool that was at a comfortable temperature. The beds were cozy. I loved how I could choose my room on the Hilton app. Would definitely stay again.

The only elevator in the hotel was out on our second night stay. We had to walk up and down 3 flights of stairs that night and the next morning with our luggage, which was OK, even though we are 65 and 71 years old. We understand mechanical things go out. The bad thing, starting at 5:30am, we heard the banging of the stairway door opening and closing continuously as guests were going in and out of the hotel since our room was next to the stairway exit and the elevator read still not working. We wish the hotel would have realized many guests would be using the stairway and put a door stop in the stairway door to prop the stairway door open for all the guests to come and go without banging the heavy stairway door, especially for guests in rooms next to the stairway door. We might have been able to get a few hours more sleep.

This property always makes me feel appreciated, it's a very clean property, and the rates are very reasonable. Although its right by the highway (169), the noise level is verr minimal. The free coffee, tea, hot water and hot chocolate in the lobby is awesome! The staff is always professional, and theyre very attentive if you need anything. 5 stars,10 plus!

My stay at thr Hampton Inn was not great, but not terrible either. The beds are comfortable, the noise level is decent,slept like a rock after I fell asleep. Although I woke up to a big box elder bug staring me in the face!!! The shower head and faucet in the tub were very old and leaky. The shower head also had a lot of grime around *and probably in it* as well,so I didnt shower. I havent tried the breakfast, but Im sure its good. The customer service is great, no issues!

The breakfast had many options which I found to be very tasty. The staff were very friendly on check in/check out. We didn’t use the pool so I’m not able to speak to the quality of that area. We would definitely stay here again!

Room was clean. Most staff was friendly. We did however have to go to the front desk for fresh towels for the next morning. And Sunday morning there was a staff member in the breakfast area filling condiments and such with AirPods in saying “I hate working weekends” and just complaining really loud about having to work while on the phone, which was very unpleasant to listen to.

Very close to Valley Fair and other attractions. Our rooms were nice but air conditioning didn’t work in one room but staff moved us to another quickly. Breakfast was great! Manager Lucas Smith was very helpful and staff really nice. We will be back!

One of our reasons for staying here again was the great breakfast selection and the location. Our major disappointment this year was the difficulty figuring out how to regulate the room temperature for comfortable sleeping. On the housekeeping side, we had to ask for toilet tissue twice and on our last day the shower gel dispenser had not been refilled so my husband used shampoo as his body wash.

The first evening there was a dog in the room next door that barked for over two hours (this was well after midnight) and it only stopped barking after the people returned to the room. The next evening it barked as well only not as late because the people got back to the room earlier that evening. We also had to have someone get the shower to work since it wouldn't turn on. I didn't want to break the pull tab on the faucet to get it started. When they came to look at it they also had to force it to pull up. They left it up so that it would work for us by just turning the water on.

Our air conditioner did not work and they said they had zero rooms to move us to (which I don’t think is true, but whatever). So they gave us a fan and didn’t offer any discount or money off or anything. They finally moved us the next day but again didn’t offer any money back or really anything. Felt like they thought we were lying or something because when I said the air wasn’t working they seemed very skeptical. Why would I even bother bringing it up? The guy said the machine was out of Freon. How do you let something so basic like that go? I am certain that the cleaners had brought it up at some point because it was disgustingly uncomfortable in that room. Guaranteed to never stay here again.

I ordered a double queen room for 2 nights and 2 rooms. Was $150/night. I was told on the online ad that it slept 5. I don’t know how you could sleep 5 in those rooms. There was no couch to sleep the 5th. Also neither my room or my daughters were housekeeped. We heard a lot of people in passing saying their rooms weren’t cleaned. When we got back from our excursion, I went to desk and said our rooms were not cleaned. She looked on her computer and said…what did you need done? I said at the very least towels and washcloths. But our garbage was full, dirty towels were not picked up and beds weren’t made. I feel that price should get that done anyway. There was 3 baseball teams there so was very noisy. Which is not the hotels fault that they took over whole hotel but it was very noisy.

that was the most bad Experience I ever have in the Hampton Shakopee, Minnesota, I, Always, Stay, This Hotel, most of time, and this time visiting with my Family and Spanish Woman, and check on me. What I Was and I have to prove her before I go get some breakfast, and I told her her, and she not believe me. Our air conditioner did not work and they said they had zero rooms to move us to (which I don’t think is true, but whatever). So they gave us a fan and didn’t offer any discount or money off or anything. They finally moved us the next day but again didn’t offer any money back or really anything. Felt like they thought we were lying or something because when I said the air wasn’t working they seemed very skeptical. Why would I even bother bringing it up? The guy said the machine was out of Freon. How do you let something so basic like that go? I am certain that the cleaners had brought it up at some point because it was disgustingly uncomfortable in that room. Guaranteed to never stay here again.

Room was clean. Most staff was friendly. We did however have to go to the front desk for fresh towels for the next morning. And Sunday morning there was a staff member in the breakfast area filling condiments and such with AirPods in saying “I hate working weekends” and just complaining really loud about having to work while on the phone, which was very unpleasant to listen to.

Hampton Inn never fails! Ive stayed there multiple times and I've never had an issue with the hotel or the staff. Easy access to 169 and 494,Mystic Lake Casino is right down road if you like to gamble or want to eat from several dining options. 5 stars!!!

The hotel was clean and well maintained in the common areas and outdoors. Our room was immaculate with very comfortable beds and pillows. The breakfast had many options which I found to be very tasty. The staff were very friendly on check in/check out. We didn’t use the pool so I’m not able to speak to the quality of that area. We would definitely stay here again!

Hotel was close to Valleyfair and they allowed early check in since the park closed early due to the weather. Room was clean, comfortable, and the air worked perfect. Only small complaints were the bathroom door was extremely difficult to shut as it dragged along the floor. The breakfast selection was very small, with no scrambled eggs or bacon my 9 year old left hungry. We understand that the breakfast is different everyday but there were very few hot breakfast options.

One of our reasons for staying here again was the great breakfast selection and the location. Our major disappointment this year was the difficulty figuring out how to regulate the room temperature for comfortable sleeping. On the housekeeping side, we had to ask for toilet tissue twice and on our last day the shower gel dispenser had not been refilled so my husband used shampoo as his body wash.

Got woken up by an alarm clock at 5am which probably wasn't the hotel's fault. Everything was fine... until breakfast. They were very slow to replenish items that had run out, firstly. Now I know Americans like waffles and sweet goopy stuff for breakfast, but I cannot eat that stuff or sugary cereals, so I count on the toast and eggs situation. Which was bad. There were cold hard-boiled eggs, poor quality bread, some disgusting omelette type thing made with revolting cheese. Worst of all was the bacon, which was mostly burnt to a cinder, and if you could find an edible bit you'd break you teeth trying to eat it It was described as "Hardwood Smoked" but a better description would be "Smoked Hard Wood" because was what tasted like. By far the worst hotel breakfast I've ever seen at any Hampton Inn, or indeed any hotel, anywhere, ever.
