Schönes Hotel in den Bergen von Monchique. Ohne Auto wahrscheinlich eher schlecht erreichbar. Mit Auto ist man schnell in Portimão, dort gibt es einige Restaurants und eine Promenade. Gleich in der Nähe gibt es ein paar nette, kleine Lokale. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und groß mit Wohnküche, Schlafzimmer extra und 2 Badezimmer. Der Spa Bereich kostet pro Person 25 Euro für 2 Stunden und muss reserviert werden. Dies war bei Expedia falsch angegeben (35 pro Tag) und das Hotel hat hier schnell weitergeholfen und eine Lösung gefunden!

C’est plus un 4 étoiles qu’un 5 étoiles. Personnel accueillant et agréable. Les piscines extérieures sont très bien. Dommage que l’on ait pas accès à la piscine intérieure sauf à réserver un soin SPA. Les chambres sont spacieuses mais la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas dans notre chambre (ils ont trouvé une solution en mettant une Clim portable mais pour un 5 étoiles cela reste décevant !) Les produits salle de bain n’étaient pas suffisants pour une famille de 4 personnes.

Wir hatten ein Apartment es hat zwei Badezimmer das ist wirklich wunderbar. Wir waren erst in der ersten Reihe vorne. Dort hört man die SDurchgangsstraße relativ laut. Und haben dann um ein Zimmer in der zweiten Reihe gebeten. Dort war es wunderbar ruhig. Die Sonne heizt die Zimmer extrem auf. Zimmer ohne Panoramaussicht sind genauso gut. Man kann ruhig auch im November noch schön dort Urlaub machen oder später. Das Frühstück ist am Wochenende extrem voll, da das Hotel dann ausgebucht ist. Wir haben uns einmal das Frühstück aufs Zimmer bringen lassen kostet pro Person 10 EUR lohnt sich aber. Toll sind die kostenlosen Kurse und SportProgramme. Zum Beispiel Yoga war klasse. Das einzigste: der Kurs fand gleichzeitig zum Frühstück statt. Man hat das Tellerklappern vom Yogaraum gehört.

Full amenities in the room just missing a washing machine for the clothes. 2 pools & a gym with fitness classes. Me and my family had a great experience. It's a great hotel specially when traveling with kids, good infra and activities towards toddlers and kids. Special shout out to the staff, absolute stellar service and care. We stayed for one night and the stay was OKish. I as dissapointed by the carpets that were dirty in the bedroom. I actually hide them under the bed. the glass in the living room was defectuous. The hotel for me does not look like a 5* hotel

Its clean &modern but not 5* its a bit disjointed and confusing with lifts and blocks. We were lucky we had an amazing view, but lots didnt. We had ants in our kitchen area and bathroom. Only 1 restaurant in main building was all inclusive the other 2 werent - which is nothing ive heard of! Cant get a drink from a paying bar, have to go upstairs to get served! Ridiculous- nothing for children to do of an evening so they seem to get in the way of other guests, or staff, but a 5* would have an area for them to be, its sold as all inclusive and for families.

Can I give this establishment 10 stars? I cannot recommend it highly enough! Stay in room B 827. The view is magical. The hotel (and room) is modern, stylish, chic and comfortable. So many vegan options at breakfast 🙏. Super friendly staff. Absolutely will stay here again and recommend to everyone I know.

The property was amazing but we had one night with out any air conditioning and had to follow up multiple times to get it fixed. Till the last day it was not cooling properly. I feel if you pay so much, and come for a special occasion you should be able to enjoy a good nights sleep. Other hotels would usually comp something or the other but there was no adjustment made.

The Monchique Resort and Spa was everything and more that we expected. We were welcomed by a very pleasant staff and shown around the resort. We arrived a bit early and the front desk worked at getting us an updated room asap. In fact they had one ready when we returned from our tour. Room was spacious with a beautiful view. We took advantage of a morning hike with a Monchique staff and it was a excellent. The Spa, which we booked, was outstanding. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had no complaints and commented on how everyone working at the Spa was so happy and helpful.

Very quiet, relaxing and nice open spaces. We had a suite with patio/terrace and it was so nice - a great interior space with a mini kitchen with high end appliances and a giant exterior terrace with lounge chairs. I'd say the only negative was the truly terrible pizza at the on-site pizza restaurant. But that's easy to skip by driving up to Monchique for better food.

An amazing hotel in an incredible location. The facilities, particularly the spa, are superb and the staff make the whole stay very special. The surrounding countryside is wonderful for walking and there are number of lovely villages and restaurants within walking or short cab distance. A superb place that doesn't really feel like any other hotel we'd been to.

Nice hotel with lovely staff and great facilities. It is showing its age and a little tired in some areas since our last visit 7 years ago. The hotel has changed hands and in new ownership. Pool and most areas were very clean and tidy. Dining options are limited and expensive so we dine elsewhere but the breakfast was plentiful and fresh.

Excellent séjour, nous avons été accueilli sur le parking même de la réception. On nous a accompagné de la réception, au parking et jusqu’à à la chambre. Une chambre qui est une suite avec une suite parentale donc 2 salles de bain, parfait avec un enfant, tout est à disposition dans la cuisine pour un séjour en petit déjeuner. Excellent petit déjeuner très varié et pour tout les désirs. Un peu déçu en revanche car tous les jours nous avions eu serviettes de toilette propre, une bouteille d’eau et 2 tablettes de lave vaisselle. Mais l’avant dernier jour pas d’eau ni de tablette de lave vaisselle et il manquait une serviette de sortie de douche. Un peu dommage de ne pas avoir un service excellent jusqu’à notre départ…
