While the restaurant was very good, it was not open for breakfast. In-room service was sketchy. We ordered breakfast in our room twice and the orders were not complete and the food and coffee were not hot. The pool was clean and beautiful but the water was cold (freezing) and there was no hot tub. The gym was above average.

Location and convenience. There is no better convenience than to take a train free of course, the Skytrain at Atlanta airport, and walk to your hotel all within 10 minutes of luggage pickup from a carousel. Nice hotel with excellent facilities.

We stayed there for one night so that we could be close to the airport. We picked this hotel based off the pictures and advertising of the hotel (sound proof room: autism friendly). I’m sure you can guess, the room was nothing like the pictures. The room was not sound proof. As soon as you walked in the disappointment on my face from seeing how uncomfortable the beds looked, and THE SMELL! Just musty. As much as we paid (parking especially), it should have been MUCH nicer. Not to mention, my kid got cut up so bad from just trying to climb in to bed.

When we arrived and checked into our room we received a room with a clogged toilet. There was a note left by prior guest stating the issue and it wasn’t cleaned or fixed. We were given a new room but was definitely disgusting. Otherwise, the stay was fine.

We booked a suite that was advertised as a queen with a sofa bed. It ended up being a Murphy bed and a very uncomfortable sofa bed. The Murphy bed was slanted significantly and we had to move the mattress to the floor. The sofa bed was even more springy and uncomfortable than normal.

Room was very quiet despite being so close to the airport. Was able to watch planes fly over the building from my window view. Restaurant was closed due to an event, but the bar was serving food. Bartender was great and attentive. Room was very clean. Bed was a little firm for me, but overall very comfortable.

Beds were very comfy! Unfortunately the bathroom wasn’t as clean as I’d hoped for. There were folks in the hallway talking, and didn’t stop until after 1 am. This was not what I expected after a long day of traveling. Inconvenient from the international terminal and poor signage.

It was in the great location to catch a sky train to the airport. And sound proof window was amazing, as their airport is the busiest one in the world every second planes are landing or taking off, it’s quite loud outside of the building yet we couldn’t hear at all in the room.

Upon arrival, my room was not quite ready. The receptionist took care of the other check in procedures and saw to my immediate comfort. She was professional and very nice. As soon as my room was ready she processed my keys and I went up.

The staff welcomed us and provided World Class service upon check in, help with our bags, and at the concierge lounge. We regularly travel to ATL airport and will only stay at the Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway for future trips. Because the room was so clean and quiet and the food and service in the lounge was exceptional, we felt completely rested for our flight the next morning. BRAVO to all the friendly, professional staff! We appreciate you!

Upon arrival, everything was fine. We were greeted with smiles and kind gestures. We got checked in and went to our room (216). Well, our key didn't work to allow us to get in the room. We used our cell phone to call the front desk in hopes they would send someone up with a replacement. They didn't. We had to go back to the front desk to get another key just to get back up to the room, and the replacement didn't work. My son goes down this time and returns, saying they would send a maintenance guy to help with the door. We waited in the hall for 15 minutes before he showed up. I told the maintenance guy it wasn't cool how long we had waited to get in the room. He rolled his eyes and took a deep breath like we had done something to him. No empathy..just attitude. Train your employees how to deal with people. I wasn’t disgruntled, over the top, cussing, or acting a fool. By the way he responded to Me..one would have thought otherwise.

This property gets 3 stars because I requested a crib for my infant in the reservation and called 3 days prior to ensure the crib would be in the room upon my arrival. Once I arrived and checked in I asked if the crib was in the room and the front desk staff said no. This was 7:30 p.m. the front desk staff said they would call to have it delivered in 15 minutes. An hour passed and still no crib. I called the front desk and they said they would call again to have it delivered. The crib did not arrive until 9:45 that night which was disappointing because I had to stay up to ensure my infant didn’t fall off of the bed since he was already sleep and I was tired from a long day of travel. I probably won’t ever stay at this hotel as long as I have an infant. Not having a crib is a safety concern for me.

Every employee we encountered went above and beyond. An especially heartfelt shoutout to Mohamed at the valet desk. Who walked my 80 year old mother to the room with out luggage while I returned our rental car. And Leslie our server at dinner who was so friendly. Every employee greeted us with a smile.

When our flight was cancelled last minute, this property offered us an early and easy check-in, and beautiful amenities to deal with an otherwise bummer situation. It was much easier to deal with flight delays when lounging poolside! Add to that how incredibly easy it was to get back to the airport the next day for our flight, and this was the luckiest hotel reservation I ever made.

It should be noted that there is no airport shuttle and the Sky Train doesn’t go to the International Terminal. You will have to take a taxi or transfer to another sky train at the Domestic Terminal.

International travelers BEWARE! I chose to stay at the Marriott Gateway for the convenience of being located at one of the skytrain stops. We needed a room for one night between flights and Marriotts always seem to be a safe bet. What I didn't realize was if you arrive in the International Terminal you have to take a shuttle bus to the domestic terminal to access the sky train to the hotel. Normally taking a shuttle between terminals is no big deal, but at Atlanta it is a 15 minute trip if the traffic isn't too bad. In the time it took us to take the shuttle, and then the sky train, we could have easily just taken a regular hotel shuttle. In a nutshell, the hotel itself was nice, a typical Marriott, and if you're flying domestically the skytrain is convenient. If you're flying Internationally it may be better to find a hotel that has a shuttle at the International terminal.

Easy airport hotel to stay at for one night. Quiet, clean and has a restaurant for dinner which was okay. Only breakfast option was Starbucks coffee and food which doesn't work if you're GF plus was expensive! Wish they offered a full restaurant breakfast.

Great hotel, but no morning breakfast restaurant. You were supposed to use an associated hotel across the street. It was freezing cold in Atlanta on this trip so no trip across the street.
