We had a lovely stay. As someone traveling without children, it’s nice to have an adult pool separate from family pool. The staff are very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Although the property restaurants had some nice local options, I was disappointed with restaurant menu options throughout the area. I suppose this is an effort to cater to tourists. Italian food on every menu… I found that strange.

Room was clean, service was attentive, and the resort is lovely. However. The street noise is quite loud, no matter where your room is. The resort is ENORMOUS and vertically-arranged; there are no elevators, and many sets of stairs. If you have mobility issues, make sure when you book that your room is near reception. The Rico Tico restaurant is good, but of you want your meat cooked all the way through, ask for 'well-done.' The breakfast is wonderful.

The property is one of the older properties of its kind in the area but they keep in really good shape considering. We loved our room. The AC worked well and the view was great even though you could see much sunset action from there (walk over the Mariposa for a sunset cocktail for a great sunset). The bathroom was large and very nice. Be careful of the water temp. It gets super hot. The family pool area was great and we enjoyed but maybe a little small given the size of the property. The adult pool area was a bigger even though fewer people were at that pool. The swim up bar was great there. The breakfast buffet was fine. You can also order from menu if you don't mind waiting a few minutes. I did find it to get hot pretty early in the area. Rico Tico was good but not great. The nicer restaurant there was really good! I don't usually get steak in CR but their filet was incredible. All the staff were super nice and I would definitely recommend.

Il s'agit de l'un des plus bels hôtels dans lequel j'ai séjourné (sur une trentaine de pays !). Le personnel est attentif, serviable et à l'écoute. La chambre impeccable et le surclassement était très intéressant (grande chambre avec coin salon, parfait pour des tracances). La navette, gratuite et ponctuelle, mène directement à la plage (avec les serviettes offertes), ce qui est très apprécié, surtout avec un jeune enfant. Le restaurant offre une des meilleures cuisines que nous avons mangé dans tout le pays ! Cet hôtel devrait être coté 4 étoiles.

The family pool sold me on choosing this resort and it did not disappoint! My 6 and 4 year olds had a blast with the pools and slide. As did my husband and I! Poolside restaurant had great food and the staff here and at front desk were SO friendly and accommodating.

What a beautiful hotel overlooking the jungle and the ocean. Very close to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious. Our only complaint is the hot tub was only like warm.

Property has great location and service which makes it a great value but the property is dated and pool area/furniture could use a good cleaning. Bus stop right across the street so east access to Manual Antonio Beach or Quepos. Service again was great.

The hotel was generally good, very friendly staff at the breakfast bar, generally helpful staff. The hotel has very large rooms with great views of the sea. Also there are monkeys you can spot at any time! Two pools and they are kept clean. The only thing about the room is the sewage smell of the bathroom. It wont go away and they say it is because of the humidity. We also asked for a bottle of water which is complementary at arrival - we extended a night of stay by making another reservation on expedia, but they still insisted that this other bottle with the new reservation wasn’t going to be complementary. Overall, a v pleasant stay.

Overall this is a nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay, but it was definitely over priced for what it was (I do notice that it came down significantly in price since we booked, so maybe they realised that too!) On check in we were taken to a room that bore no resemblance to what we had booked and what was shown in the pictures and was definitely not worth £250 per night. However the staff were super helpful and "upgraded" us to a plus room which was actually like the pictures so maybe there is an error on here with the room pictures. One of the restaurants and one of the pools were shut due to damage from a fallen tree which I understand is out of their control but again it just made us feel like we'd spent so much money and werent getting enough for that. Food was good although half way through our stay they switched to a semi buffet service which felt cheap and the service dropped On a positive note, the reception staff were always super helpful and friendly. The cleaning was always done to a high standard and the view from our room was great. Also the hotel is in a good location where you can walk to many places and there is a bus stop right outside which costs about 50p! Overall, I'd recommend this hotel, but only at a price that reflects the standard, it was not a £250pn hotel!

The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we were not given the type of room we had booked. We were given a room with two king size beds which left no room to move around or for the usual seating area. Very tiny closet area. The hotel was apparently full so we were not switched to another room for two days. The room we were eventually given was satisfactory but the room and bathroom needs updating. Road noise and intermittent sewer smell throughout the resort. Lack of shade around the pools. Beds were comfortable. Food was good in both restaurants. Views are fabulous. Monkeys roaming the resort were great entertainment.

Our ocean-view rooms nestled in the rain forest canopy were simply paradise—clean, spacious, extremely comfortable beds and pillows, close to resort reception, both restaurants, pools, and adult pool bar. Can’t say enough about the friendliness and healthfulness of the staff. The food in the restaurants was good; breakfast was above average-good, and the two types of mahi mahi ceviche we had were delicious on two different days. The drinks are expensive. The restaurant meals at the resort will run you a typical above-average casual sit-down price-point for American restaurant-goers. The help with tours and shuttles was perfect. The only thing we wish we could have known ahead of time was to make sure to bring our swim suits to change into after our Manuel Antonio National Park. The beach there is stunning. We had a fantastic time enjoying watching the beach capuchins, hermit crabs, and the water! We definitely would have been fine going to the public beach on non-weekend days in terms of less crowding as we witnessed. Highly recommend this magical place.

El hotel estaba limpio y bien mantenido pero viejo. El cuarto no cerraba la puerta del balcón y nuestro baño olía muy mal. Comida deliciosa, muchas opciones de comida sin gluten y vegetariana. Los meseros pese que educados, no fueron tan buenos como los del resto de Costa Rica. La gente se recepción muy amables.

I was in room 35, and it was eye level with a guarumo tree upper canopy. It was great because this tree attracts sloths, monkeys and aracari and yellow throated toucans, all of which I saw and enjoyed from the comfort of my balcony. That room had a beautiful view of the ocean, rainforest and wildlife. It was amazing.

We loved the view and the dinner at Claro Que Si was delicious and very memorable with ocean views and ambiance. However, we wished the beach shuttle was more frequent. An afternoon shuttle to the beach would be great. Also, our shower in the room didn't have hot water, though we reported it right away. On the whole, we would stay there again. The staff was friendly with excellent communication and speedy results except for shower..

The resort is ENORMOUS and vertically-arranged; there are no elevators, and many sets of stairs. If you have mobility issues, make sure when you book that your room is near reception. The Rico Tico restaurant is good, but of you want your meat cooked all the way through, ask for 'well-done.' The breakfast is wonderful.

Si Como No isn't a hotel that is on the list of 4 or 5-star rated. It's at the most 2 stars and it's as expensive as a 5 star. I would recommend you to look for other resorts nearby( ex: Shana by the beach) which are cheaper and not as expensive as this overrated 2-star. The rooms are too outdated. They say partial ocean view but it was all covered by trees and you have to see the ocean through the leaves. The room given to us is on the other side of the resort and its ground floor. They charge a lot just to put us in this cheap room on the ground floor. We called them multiple times and they never changed or moved us to a different room. The walk from the room to the pool and other areas takes some hiking. The buffet breakfast is the worst with the same menu every day. Their dinner and lunch menus are also very expensive. The rooms are very outdated and has mosquitoes.Overall, I would say that Si Como no is not a 4-star-priced and they should reduce their price to a 2-star. They are here to loot money from first-timers.

Staff was amazing, view was amazing, food was good but nothing spectacular, lots of wildlife could be spotted on the property. My main complaint is that our room was connected to another room through a wooden door… it was like being in the same room with strangers. You could hear EVERYTHING. Not cool unless you are into that kind of things.

We were given a room with two king size beds which left no room to move around or for the usual seating area. Very tiny closet area. The hotel was apparently full so we were not switched to another room for two days. The room we were eventually given was satisfactory but the room and bathroom needs updating. Road noise and intermittent sewer smell throughout the resort. Lack of shade around the pools. Beds were comfortable. Food was good in both restaurants. Views are fabulous. Monkeys roaming the resort were great entertainment.

The property is one of the older properties of its kind in the area but they keep in really good shape considering. We loved our room. The AC worked well and the view was great even though you could see much sunset action from there (walk over the Mariposa for a sunset cocktail for a great sunset). The bathroom was large and very nice. Be careful of the water temp. It gets super hot. The family pool area was great and we enjoyed but maybe a little small given the size of the property. The adult pool area was a bigger even though fewer people were at that pool. The swim up bar was great there. The breakfast buffet was fine. We booked a 2 night stay. Our initial reception was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and gave lots of information about the resort. We were escorted to our room and the luggage taken for us. The features were clearly explained. At all times the staff were very courteous & couldn’t do enough to help. We had dinner both evenings which, again, was excellent. The location is fantastic with amazing views. All in all, the best experience we had in Costa Rica.

Hotel was wonderful. Odd rules at sign in of locking up all valuables… then had a staff member walk into room while sleeping (10pm). No harm and likely an honest mistake but a little unsettling. Overall the resort and staff are fantastic but the one off event left us a little on alert on day 1.

The noise level is unfortunately very load, especially around the pool and first thing in the morning with the staff. My biggest problem and why I checked out early is the manager is extremely rude. I would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone.

The view is spectacular . Staff is kind , helpful and go above and beyond . I have stayed at this hotel 4x . The breakfast is so good ! Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Lots of restaurants that are walkable and it’s a quick bus ride to the beach every 15 min . The hotel has shuttle service as well ! 10/10

The staff was super friendly and helpful. We got upgraded to a full ocean view due to a room mixup and cannot complain. Just outside the property is the public bus to the beach and Manuel Antonio park, which is easy to use ( and we used multiple times). Several amazing restaurants nearby. The property itself is great. Nice swimming pools, restaurant and bar with lovely view and lush vegetation that makes it feel secluded. Overall pretty amazing.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here! The resort is absolutely beautiful and our room and views were stunning! We saw so many animals just sitting on our balcony. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The food was great at both of their restaurants. It’s a very short driving distance from Manuel Antonio National Park and they offer shuttle service to and from the park and the beach. We will definitely be back!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. They have shuttles for beach and Manuel Antonio. Though the shuttle frequency is a little low. You can take city bus for less than a dollar though. Overall had a great experience.

We stayed here for just 3 nights at the end of our trip to CR and could have definitely stayed longer. Service was fabulous both in reception and restaurants always someone to greet you with a smile and nothing is too much trouble… thankfully even helping you with many bags up many steps was no trouble. Room was a good size nicely laid out with aircon and a massive bathroom. Food in the restaurant was a little pricey but really enjoyable and breakfast was great with a small buffet and a menu to order off too which we loved. Cocktails were also amazing we loved it if we were back in time for happy hour while the kids played in the pool. The pool was lovely well maintained and the small slide was a massive hit. It’s not the biggest family pool where as the adult pool looked bigger which is a shame but didn’t affect my families enjoyment. They also run a small programme of activities which I thought was great even if we didn’t get to enjoy them. Beautiful grounds in a good location with a few restaurants and a couple of shops in walking distance. The espadilla (?) beach is as only a few minutes down the road but don’t attempt walking back up like we did…. It’s steep! We also got an Uber cheaply to the MA park and to Quepos. Only very slight negatives it wasn’t the easiest to get an Uber it’s only if they were passing and the shuttle bus could benefit from having one more time each way and a few more parasols around the pool would have been fab. Overall this is a nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay, but it was definitely over priced for what it was (I do notice that it came down significantly in price since we booked, so maybe they realised that too!) On check in we were taken to a room that bore no resemblance to what we had booked and what was shown in the pictures and was definitely not worth £250 per night. However the staff were super helpful and "upgraded" us to a plus room which was actually like the pictures so maybe there is an error on here with the room pictures. One of the restaurants and one of the pools were shut due to damage from a fallen tree which I understand is out of their control but again it just made us feel like we'd spent so much money and werent getting enough for that. Food was good although half way through our stay they switched to a semi buffet service which felt cheap and the service dropped On a positive note, the reception staff were always super helpful and friendly. The cleaning was always done to a high standard and the view from our room was great. Also the hotel is in a good location where you can walk to many places and there is a bus stop right outside which costs about 50p! Overall, I'd recommend this hotel, but only at a price that reflects the standard, it was not a £250pn hotel!

The family pool sold me on choosing this resort and it did not disappoint! My 6 and 4 year olds had a blast with the pools and slide. As did my husband and I! Poolside restaurant had great food and the staff here and at front desk were SO friendly and accommodating.

El hotel estaba limpio y bien mantenido pero viejo. El cuarto no cerraba la puerta del balcón y nuestro baño olía muy mal. Comida deliciosa, muchas opciones de comida sin gluten y vegetariana. Los meseros pese que educados, no fueron tan buenos como los del resto de Costa Rica. La gente se recepción muy amables.

Very nice hotel in Manuel Antonio. Well located, excellent views, nice pool and helpful staff. Lots of comms via WhatsApp to help arrange tours, transport, etc - very helpful, particularly Walkiria. Food in both restaurants was very good and service was also great. A little on the expensive side in the restaurants vs nearby options but they ran some good promotions while we were there.
Very nice hotel in Manuel Antonio. Well located, excellent views, nice pool and helpful staff. Lots of comms via WhatsApp to help arrange tours, transport, etc - very helpful, particularly Walkiria. Food in both restaurants was very good and service was also great. A little on the expensive side in the restaurants vs nearby options but they ran some good promotions while we were there.

We stayed at Si Como No Resort for three nights as a family of four (two adults and children aged 8 and 9) and had a very enjoyable stay. Our room was spacious with a large balcony overlooking the rainforest and ocean. The bathroom was also very large, although a bath would have been a nice addition given the available space. The hotel has a family pool and an adults-only pool. As the resort is clearly popular with families, it might make more sense to allow all guests to use both pools, as the family pool was sometimes busy while the adults-only pool was often quiet. The highlight of our stay was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. They went out of their way to help whenever we needed anything, and their hospitality really stood out. The restaurants served good food and drinks, although they are quite expensive. A small discount for hotel guests, such as 15%, would be a welcome addition. Breakfast was very good with excellent service. We also enjoyed the cinema room and the complimentary butterfly sanctuary across the road. There were several other complimentary activities available too. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend Si Como No Resort to other families visiting Manuel Antonio.
