Lovely stay at Altezza. Good facilities and excellent proximity to the Charmettoger lift (100m walk) and possible to ski back to the boot room door! A little bit away from other restaurants in Arc 1800 centre. All in all a fantastic 5 night stay!

Very nice hotel, big room comfy bed, great breakfast. Didn’t try dinner as it is quit controversial. Wonderful spa, had great time there after ski. The jacuzzi is too small tho. On peak time, you have to wait . So pick a smart time to go if you want to enjoy the spa.

We loved our stay here. Great communication on arrival instructions before we got there as weren’t familiar with the area and weren’t driving. We got the funicular from bourg saint Maurice and then the free shuttle to the chamotteger stop. It all works very well together timing wise. Then it’s a short walk uphill (bit of a challenges with our suitcases but it was only short). It’s also a short walk down to the main area with a great choice of restaurants some shops and we were in the summer season but a whole host of activities for the kids. The whole hotel had a very cosy vibe with incredible views, definitely worth paying for a room with a view, loved the pool. Everything was clean and well kept,service was very friendly whoever we spoke to. Replen at breakfast was a little slow. there was a good choice and all was tasty just at times we were waiting a while for plates or still water. Room was clean and spacious only criticism was it was a little hot at times, air con would have been useful and it was 2 beds pushed together rather than a double which I don’t find the comfiest and pillow choice wasn’t great they were very soft and no alternatives. We didn’t like the rule where you could only eat there if you were half board the first day we had a LONG day of travel but had to go out and find dinner where as we would have liked to stay at the hotel but didn’t want to eat every night to make it half board. This felt a little money making. Overall we loved our stay.

Mention spéciale pour la piscine et le spa, la qualité et la variété du self, et l'amabilité exemplaire de tout le personnel. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir ! ☺️

Très bon séjour dans un hôtel accueillant, agréable. On peut poser sa voiture et partir en randonnée ou dans le village et même au-delà avec les navettes et les télésièges. Chambre très bien insonorisées. Joli coin piscine et spa accessible à tous.

Lenzuola, asciugamani e accappatoi di alta qualità, ciabatte, macchina caffè Nespresso a disposizione, prese corrente ovunque, cassaforte, frigorifero, Wi-Fi in camera disponibile e funzionante. Accesso gratuito in piscina, 2 vasche idromassaggio e sauna. Al nostro arrivo ci hanno omaggiato di borracce per l’acqua e distributore a disposizione. Colazione a buffet molto fornita con addetto alla preparazione della uova e crepa. Cena veramente ottima e complimenti allo chef. Da migliorare cuscini scomodi e più attenzione al rifacimento dei letti (presenza di pieghe fastidiose). Camerieri e addetti alla reception gentili e disponibili tranne una. Les points positifs : piscine intérieure grande et spa, restaurant bon, bonne localisation et belle vue sur la montagne. Les points à améliorer : trop d’attente au petit déjeuner pour avoir des œufs brouillés (fait à la demande), Pas de clim dans la chambre : problème été pour les chambres sur station , bruit (local générateur) et moustiques empêchent de laisser ouverte la fenêtre pour rafraîchir. Chambre Sale : vitre non nettoyée et taches sur moquette Connaissances de l’équipe limitées : ne connaît pas la boulangerie la plus proche, ne connaît pas mountain kart Carte chambre pour ouvrir électricité au fonctionnement non intuitif Machine à café cassée La personne a l’accueil oublie notre demande quand on l’appelle, on a du rappelé. N’a pas noté quand on a dit pas de parking cette nuit et donc la note finale présentait un parking, on a du vérifier et faire modifier.

Tout s’est très bien passé, la vue depuis l’établissement et les chambres sont incroyables ! Proximité de l’hôtel du centre de la station des Arcs 1800 et du départ d’un téléski, c’était parfait ☺️

Great hotel for skiing holiday. Room had ample space for family of 4. Was worried about single bunk beds for my older teenagers but they were fit for purpose. Lots of storage for clothes and luggage. Wish there was more hooks for hanging up towels though. Overall very happy with our Christmas skiing holiday. Close to piste/gondola, town, restaurants... Very impressed with the breakfast buffet. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here. Great communication on arrival instructions before we got there as weren’t familiar with the area and weren’t driving. We got the funicular from bourg saint Maurice and then the free shuttle to the chamotteger stop. It all works very well together timing wise. Then it’s a short walk uphill (bit of a challenges with our suitcases but it was only short). It’s also a short walk down to the main area with a great choice of restaurants some shops and we were in the summer season but a whole host of activities for the kids. The whole hotel had a very cosy vibe with incredible views, definitely worth paying for a room with a view, loved the pool. Everything was clean and well kept,service was very friendly whoever we spoke to. Replen at breakfast was a little slow. there was a good choice and all was tasty just at times we were waiting a while for plates or still water. Terrible service at the front desk. The staff at th check-in had no clue what they were doing. Lack of English language was another problem. only the gentleman who worked in the afternoons was friendly and knowledgeable. we have been told to chose a dinner time, the silly thing is you have to register for the dinner time every day after 4pm. There was no possibility getting a cup of coffee or anything else until the bar areas was opened at 4pm. of the 3 elevators, only one was working. The buffet at dinner was horrible.You could barely chew the meat, though I have to admit the servers were very friendly. Ultimately,we were so unsatisfied that we decided to leave 2 day earlier than initially booked. Not worth the money.

Mention spéciale pour la piscine et le spa, la qualité et la variété du self, et l'amabilité exemplaire de tout le personnel. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir ! ☺️

It was a very pleasant stay. I can certainly recommend this hotel. It has ski-in/ski-out, but it’s not pretty straight forward to find from the first attempt. There is a rental located right next to ski room which I found very convenient . Breakfast offering is decent, however I would love to see more fresh vegetable and fruits offering (there was only cherry tomatoes). There is also nice “eggs station” where chef cooks fried eggs and omelet of your choice as well as freshly cooked pancakes. However there was a “catch” maybe I didn’t see in description of the hotel, but they hold 100€ per night per person as security deposit. So in overall it cost 1000€ for 2 persons per 5 nights. Luckily I had such amount on my card, but still it could be very unpleasant surprise especially you are traveling not alone and for longer period of time. But the good thing is that it got unfrozen once you check out. So in overall solid 4 star hotel with great location.

Piaciuto: Camera spaziosa, pulita e dotata di ogni comfort. Lenzuola, asciugamani e accappatoi di alta qualità, ciabatte, macchina caffè Nespresso a disposizione, prese corrente ovunque, cassaforte, frigorifero, Wi-Fi in camera disponibile e funzionante. Accesso gratuito in piscina, 2 vasche idromassaggio e sauna. Al nostro arrivo ci hanno omaggiato di borracce per l’acqua e distributore a disposizione. Colazione a buffet molto fornita con addetto alla preparazione della uova e crepa. Cena veramente ottima e complimenti allo chef. Da migliorare cuscini scomodi e più attenzione al rifacimento dei letti (presenza di pieghe fastidiose). Camerieri e addetti alla reception gentili e disponibili tranne una. Tempi lunghi di attesa alla cena (media attesa per 3 portate un’ora e mezza). Canali tv italiani praticamente assenti. La palestra ha a disposizione solo tapis roulants. Parcheggio esterno gratuito sempre pieno.

Un séjour formidable de 2 semaines. Le personnel est aux petits soins, les chambres très agréables et la vue sur la vallée à couper le souffle. Le restaurant est vraiment excellent

It was a very pleasant stay. I can certainly recommend this hotel. It has ski-in/ski-out, but it’s not pretty straight forward to find from the first attempt. There is a rental located right next to ski room which I found very convenient . Breakfast offering is decent, however I would love to see more fresh vegetable and fruits offering (there was only cherry tomatoes). There is also nice “eggs station” where chef cooks fried eggs and omelet of your choice as well as freshly cooked pancakes. However there was a “catch” maybe I didn’t see in description of the hotel, but they hold 100€ per night per person as security deposit. So in overall it cost 1000€ for 2 persons per 5 nights. Luckily I had such amount on my card, but still it could be very unpleasant surprise especially you are traveling not alone and for longer period of time. But the good thing is that it got unfrozen once you check out. So in overall solid 4 star hotel with great location.

Balcony hand rail was loose and held on by 4 screws on the 7th floor!! Incredibly dangerous! Great views across the alps. Children's games were either turned off / not working or cost money (even fusball). Great pool and spa facilities.

A great base for ski- in and out with friendly staff and good food. Only negative was the dining arrangements which might be helped by allocating room numbers to tables as experienced in other hotels, and to have 2 set sittings to regulate and accommodate groups and the noise!

Great hotel for skiing holiday. Room had ample space for family of 4. Was worried about single bunk beds for my older teenagers but they were fit for purpose. Lots of storage for clothes and luggage. Wish there was more hooks for hanging up towels though. Overall very happy with our Christmas skiing holiday. Close to piste/gondola, town, restaurants... Very impressed with the breakfast buffet. Highly recommend!
