S31 Sukhumvit Hotel

Hotel with great location but it is very old — aircon of rooms had loud sound throughout, i checked out immediately and booked another hotel as the price point is not that far off from better hotels nearby. Definitely not 5 stars in 2026's expectations

The guy opening the door was super helpful and helped with restaurants and booking airport transfer. Also super friendly

Where do I even begin? There are a few positives in a sea of negatives, but this is honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Positives: • Good, varied breakfast with kind staff • Friendly doormen on the ground floor • Good location in Bangkok Unfortunately, that’s where it ends. We were told at check-in that the room we booked might not match the photos, and we were given a “similar” room without the features we paid for. Strange. Room 1605 was shocking: dirty, with a very noisy AC that clearly hasn’t been cleaned in years. The room never gets cool, even on 15°C. The door doesn’t close properly, and noise travels easily. The bathroom door is crooked and stained, and there is no hot water in the shower. Furniture has visible stains, curtains smell like they’ve never been washed, and windows are filthy. The view is poor compared to cheaper rooms. We also made a booking mistake (one night short). Reception quoted 4500 THB for an extra night, but later someone came demanding an additional 200 THB due to a “calculation error.” Hotels.com showed 4200 THB total. This felt dishonest. This is absolutely not a 5-star hotel, more like false advertising. I strongly recommend staying elsewhere. Disastrous.
