The staffs were helpful in providing a fan to the room on a hot summer day. It was still warm in the room. The air conditioning in the room was not working. Pros: Convenient, walkable to the airport. Breakfast provided. Cons: The air conditioning in the room was not working at all. The building shook whenever a large bus or vehicle drove past above the ceiling/hotel.

Das einzig Gute an diesem Hotel ist die Lage und die Freundlichkeit des Concierge. Das Zimmer war abgenutzt und schlecht gereinigt. Fast alle Sportgeräte waren defekt, das Frühstück wirkte minimalistisch und nicht betreut. Insgesamt ein ungepflegtes Hotel, dass nur aufgrund seiner Lage 2 Sterne bekommt.

I liked the convenience of being at the airport, with a late check out, and delicious hot chocolate. I would have loved to have the ability to have heat in the room, a cold refrigerator and a hot shower. The refrigerator did not cool my bottle of water. The shower was lukewarm at best. Since the room was cold, i thought a hot shower would warm me up. It did not. Staff are great.

Hotel was located by Terminal 1 in Barcelona airport. So, if you are flying out of Barcelona on American Airlines, like we did, it was conveniently located. We only have carry-on and there is a security section located a short walk from the hotel that is not busy. Breakfast was okay. Room was clean. Hot water does not last (3 minutes tops) when taking a shower. Complained to the front desk and we were told to wait at least 30 minutes to try again. It didn't work and front desk offered for us to take a shower at the fitness gym (which we declined.) I will still recommend this hotel for conveniently located by terminal 1.

This hotel is very convenient being located inside Terminal 1 and the staff we very helpful, however the room that I had was not in a good condition. The toilet was loose and I worried about it falling off everytime I sat on it, the sink was also in the same condition, one accidental slip and the sink was coming off. There was also alot of light coming through the curtains from the terminal but it was very quiet. I don't think I would stay here again as there are much nicer hotels for not a lot more money close to the airport.

The staff were very helpful when the room I was assigned for 3 adults had only 1 double bed. The staff quickly found a more suitable room. The breakfast was good with a nice selection of hot and cold foods and beverages plus a coffee machine with pods in the room. The bathroom had not been cleaned with a towel on the floor and in the shower upon arrival. It was a short layover so a place to rest was the goal and it provided that.

Turn the lights on before you put your feet down so the cockroaches will scurry away first. Bathroom door did not latch and no hooks to hang towels. Bathroom floor was dirty with hair and grime in the corners and floor. Can hear everything in the room next door and hallway. The bed was so hard! We like a firm mattress, but when the rollaway cot is more comfortable, there is a problem. The tile floor is only slightly harder. Appreciate the convenience offered by being attached to the airport, but in the end, what we paid was definitely not worth the stay. So disappointed and not sure how this is an 4 star place.

Booked due to having a very early flight. So it is ideal for this situation. The property looks really nice and is very appealing. However, The beds are not comfy. It is very noisy - can hear people in the corridor, hoovering and other maintenance. Our bathroom wasn’t cleaned to a high standard - tooth paste splatters, hair on the floor and shower, debris on the floor near the shower. Our toilet didn’t flush properly and the hot water on the shower ran out during a shower. If it wasn’t for a very early flight on the morning of check out I would’ve complained.

The location, staff and amenities were great! Unfortunately the bed was quite hard and there a repetitive loud noise every 15-30 min that constantly woke us up. We had a super early flight so we didn't ask to change rooms but we did mention it when we checked out at 4:00am

Exceptional location. Within a 5 minute walk of Terminal 1 security. Also, lots of helpful amenities like continental breakfast, and nespresso. That said, it’s bare bones and the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Like a piece plywood with a sheet on it. At least there’s little chance of oversleeping!

Of course I booked this for the convenience since I had a connecting flight early the next morning. The staff was friendly and very helpful in finding my connecting gate. The security check-in the next morning was nearby and fast! The only negatives were the walls seemed to be paper thin, and I think the bed and pillow were found in a rock quarry. Would stay there again.

Very convenient for a short layover before catching an early flight. The room was very compact but neat and had water and a Nespresso type coffee maker in the room. The bed was firm and had good pillows. The shower was good though the toilet did not have any door, so may be awkward if you are sharing a room. Didn’t try the buffet style breakfast as was running a bit late. Finding the hotel can be tricky but had good instructions from the hotel via email - need to head towards the business centre after arrival, and turn to the right after passing the Caixa bank.

Front desk (Javi and woman) were great! Javi helped me in January with my reservation! Breakfast guy was not on top of his job- breakfast buffet had no scrambled eggs for almost an hour. Coffee machine was almost out of water & milk. There were 8 dirty tables. He was busy in Premium Lounge, where there were no people. I spotted a full pan of eggs there! Then he told me I couldn’t be in there (even though I was a paying guest) Bad attitude!!

No one at check in desk. Waited 20 minutes. It's inside the Barcelona Airport. Refrigerator was broken, so items in it were warm. We asked about use of priority pass, & were told it was open till 10. Put our bags in or room. Went back to the area, they were cleaning it all up. It was 8:55. I asked for my priority pass to be credited back, hopefully they did so.

The staff were amazing. I had a very early flight and couldn’t rely on the shuttle schedules of other hotels near the airport to help me arrive on time for flight checkin and security. This worked perfect for me. I got some rest, checked my bag, got my boarding pass, and had time to enjoy a lovely breakfast; all before 5am.

The gentlema who works late nights at the front desk is DELIGHTFUL — he was extremely kind, helpful, proactive, sincere, and charming. After a long day of tiring travel, we couldn’t have imagined a more lovely welcome. Thank you so much sir for your unusual warmth and goodness. The room itself was acceptable. The bed was not horrible but was below average comfort. The sheets and pillows also were not horrible but below average. The bathroom had an issue with the shower design such that the water leaked out substantially onto the floor by the sink. The window shade was broken such that we could not fully block light from the street. But it was clean and felt safe and served its purpose. The breakfast had good options, some variety, including fresh and yummy things that we appreciated. The convenience is huge, of course, and that’s what you’re paying for. I would stay here again ONLY if I had another 5am flight, and would honestly be bummed to pay extra for a bare minimum experience. But all in all, it was fine.

I was a little concerned about booking at Sleep and Fly after reading some of the reviews. I need not have been concerned. We found it to be spotlessly clean, updated, staff friendly, helpful and the hotel extremely convenient. I am not certain why some reviews stated it was hard to find, we easily found it by following the directions sent to us by email prior to our stay. We enjoyed a free breakfast at 4:30am prior to walking out to the security gate.

Highly Recommend! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this location and the property is good. It was immaculately clean, tastefully decorated. The bed is European firmness. The location was perfect— in the airport terminal 1, but difficult to find as the airport does not allow them to put signage up. Free breakfast. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again or recommend it to friends and family. If you’re considering a stay here, don’t hesitate—you won’t regret it! Thank you. A great trouble free experience!

Check-in was quick and seamless, room was ready, spacious and clean. Perfect for our overnight layover as a family. Breakfast and the lounge it was served in was amazing. It is difficult to find, but we just kept asking airport personnel to point us the way. Right before you step outside the airport exit doors for ground transportation, head down the corridor on the right with the moving walkways. It'll seem like you're heading toward airport parking. You'll eventually see a small illuminated sign overhead to the right that says the hotel name.

Checking in was easy and our rooms were available before the check in time. Walking to our departure gate was very convenient. The entrance wasn't easy to find once the taxi dropped us off the Business Centre at the Airport in Barcelona.

It is just outside of the baggage claim so very convenient for early morning flight. It is not well marked so need to look for the tiny signs- "sleep and fly". Rooms were clean and modern and nice.

Noisy (they rent the rooms by the hour apparently , so housekeeping servicing the rooms til late into the night. Breakfast was from 4.30am til 10.30 …. At 4.50am it had been obliterated … literally a few croissants left. It’s a perfect location for early flights … but not ideal if you want any sleep or any food.

Excellent property. Everything was top-notch. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. Late night snacks were available in the airport. Easy bus ride (A1) to the center of all the action in downtown Barcelona.

Perfect stay for having an early flight out. Staff were very nice and explained everything I needed to know. Room was perfect had everything I needed for a nights stay. The bed was pretty hard but other than that I would highly recommend for a short stay! Also, the breakfast included was really good! More than just a continental breakfast and a lot of options and started at 4am!

This hotel was excellent for catching a flight from the Barcelona airport. Ask the cab driver to drop you off at the Terminal 1 Arrival door and then ask airport employees for directions to the hotel/Business Center. The hotel was clean with a large room and bathroom. The pull out couch was adequate. The breakfast was delicious and started at 4:30 for early travelers.

Terrible experience overall. There is no dining option, food and beverage or service in general which is unacceptable given you are in an airport with no restaurant option nearby. Rooms are extremely noisy, it’s absolutely not sound proofed with the room next door. It looks like a business center, not at all an airport hotel…
