Stayed in a suite for 2 nights. Everything was perfect and so convenient for everything. Train station opposite, along with plenty of taxis. Shopping was next to the hotel. Wonderful breakfast was included in our rate, and everyone was so helpful in the restaurant. The check in was perfect and once again everyone was so helpful and friendly. Not far from the cruise port, a short taxi ride away. We are already planning another stay next year!

The receptionist was perhaps a little too eager to be funny and personal. Friendly service is always appreciated, but there is a fine line between charming and slightly overfamiliar. We were also somewhat surprised to find the bidet towels placed on the bed. Those would have been better left where they belong.

Our favorite hotel in Kiel. Comfortable and stylish rooms, many with views of the Kiel Fjord, a top-floor restaurant serving excellent food with breathtaking views, and an outstanding breakfast restaurant on the ground floor. The location is superb, right on the waterfront, next to a shopping mall, and just a short walk from the pedestrian shopping streets. We were offered an upgrade to a suite for an additional €50 and gladly accepted. The suite we were given was absolutely fantastic, featuring a dining table for six, a comfortable seating area with a sofa and armchair, an enormous balcony with spectacular views over both Kiel and the fjord, a separate bedroom divided by a sliding door, and two bathrooms. A truly exceptional hotel experience.
