Very clean, very comfortable, spacious room, lovely property! Laundry facilities were good and we were very close to Barnacles Cafe for dolphin feeding! I'd highly recommend this as a place to stay!

The cabin was very clean. The office staff very friendly. The close proximity to everything. The grounds were beautiful including bbq area. One night only we had to park out on the street as all parking bays were taken in front of our cabin. No big deal but prob could do with parking numbers for cabins. All in all a wonderful 3 day stay. Lovey clean large rooms with a very convenient location right next door to the local pub with dining options. We were there to see the dolpins and was given good local information of what to do. The host was very accomodating with a guest who had an elderly parent and gladly upgraded the room to be more convienent to the car park. All in all, would highly recomend this as a place to base yourself to explore the surrounds of Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach.

We booked for 7 members of our family to stay, 2 family rooms. Lovely, warm welcome from Steve on our arrival - Steve informed us of the best places to eat & the best time to attend the dolphin feeding at the Dolphin Centre. Our rooms were well appointed, very clean & spacious. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Definitely worth a return visit.

Cleaner started cleaning next door at 8.30. Loud and unfair to guests staying more than 1 night. Lady receptionist not friendly. She didn't even say thank for staying. We had to ask for cooking equipment, it felt like it was a big bother for them. Wind whipped through the shutters so was cold.

Very clean. Friendly staff. On a Friday evening no parking available because it's taken by the pub patrons, so we parked on the street. Smokers outside the window. No soundproofing from the Friday night pub music/noise made it difficult to sleep. We were offered EV charging for $25 surcharge but found it convenient to charge in Gympie for $6.

This is always our "go to" in Tin Can Bay - central to everything - self contained - clean and tidy. The service from the staff is always top notch. The outside of the buildings are mouldy but inside is fine. The only disappointing thing is the old pub next door. Such a shame that it is so run down and dirty - it could be a real draw card for tourists and locals alike.

Sleepy lagoon is a great motel - the rooms are spacious and have everything you need - you can borrow a big electric frypan and utensils and there is crockery and cutlery etc for a self contained stay. The pub next door do an awesome pizza but it is a pretty creepy joint, run down and some colourful clientelle. It is a shame really as it could be an amazing venue. I would recommend a stay here - great price too but if you want a drink go to the Golf Club or Yacht club and give the pub a swerve,

We were very happy with everything about this property. Had dinner at the Pub next door twice and the Golf Club Chinese once. All very nice. IGA, a Bakery and a Chemist are an easy 4min walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice littel spot for a couple of nights. Pub next door is pretty dated with a fiar bit of work needed on the building, but staff were very friendly, drink was reasonably priced and the food was good. If you want 5 star then stay away, but for people wanting somewhere easy to go on foot from the motel, the pub is perfect.

Very nice owners and the place was clean and provided the amenities we needed. Value for the price if your looking for a lower cost option. Pub next door as a little rough but the food was good. Recommend dinner at the Tin Can Bay Yacht club. Excellent food and staff and well worth finding.
