Parking area was safe but difficult to park due to angle of rooms. Kitchen was ok, no hot water initially but fixed by the motel. Staff friendly. Several trades staying at the complex having a drinking meeting outside their rooms adjacent to ours was a bit different, but finished up after all the beer was drunk.

Cobwebs and gecko droppings in bathroom… Please be aware the hairdryer is faulty and possibly a fire hazard as it started smoking a few seconds after turning it on. Acknowledging it was show day, there still should be restaurant staff on a Friday night. Thanks for a good stay.

Staff where helpful before arriving due to arriving late however room was average inside I had to kill 2 cockroaches in the room that where huge that crawled onto the bed and beds are uncomfortable and quite hard. For over $200 a night there shouldn’t be roaches in the room…

Receptionist was pleasent when I arrived. The Room was excellent.Very clean.I ordered an Angus rump steak meal on room service. It was the best steak I have had for ages and I suspect was a bigger piece then advertised .Ive stayed at the Explorer Inn before and will be staying there in the future again.

Called ahead to let them know I would be arriving after hours. I was told the door would be unlocked and key inside and was sent a text explaining this as well, only to arrive at 8pm to a locked door and several calls to an unattended after hours number. As I decided to leave when at the motel driveway I saw a staff member on a golf cart who helped me out. Quite stressful after driving 6 hours.

We had a great stay in the family room, which provides a 2nd room for children to go to bed slightly earlier. The complimentary bottles of water each day in the fridge were wonderful and added to the experience. We stayed towards the back of the property, and didn't notice any highway noise at all. It close to the Big Rig, Sculptures and Biggest Bottle Tree providing a good base to explore.

No sink plug, no toaster, no comfortable chairs in the room. No drink service to the table in the restaurant - needed to go to the bar and carry your own drinks back to the table. Small, thoughtful changes would make this an excellent facility. French bar staff were great.
