Heated pool was closed for repair. Stove/oven did not work.( was told this 45 min prior to arrival. Never disclosed pool was not working) Bathroom fan was not working. Smelled musty, had to open windows. Bathroom window does not lock. They can’t even give this unit TLC and put a battery in the wall clock so it works.

We love that the beach access is very convenient and beautiful view. The only downside is the geese’s stool around the beach and volleyball court, but I we understand that its part of the nature. We had fun, will definitely come back.

Great stay overall! Clean and solid amount of accommodations in terms of a well stocked kitchen, easy parking, large selection of TV channels, comfortable couches/living room area, warm water, functioning heating unit etc. Only nitpick is was hard to locate at night due to non lit signage. Would have appreciated better signage and/or direction on where cottage was (ie across the street from the main beach facing cottages)

Our very quaint little one bedroom cabin that sleeps 4 was fully equipped with linens, towels, and basic toiletries. The kitchenette was well equipped with coffee pot and supplies, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, and stove. Dining table for 4. Beach towels were available too. Our cabin was among the big trees and across the street from their private beach with lounge chairs and dock. Heated pool was a "refreshing" temperature and needed some skimming. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Private beach was equipped with lounge chairs.It felt very homey. I would definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed out stay in our own unit at this lodge. Customer service great, managerwas v Brian was very helpful and informative about the complex. We will be returning with more of our family next time. Nice to have beach access, close to food, etc. It felt old school Tahoe, drive up motel. Nice facility, clean.

There was old food in the fridge, the coffee pot was dirty, there were no filters for the coffeemaker. The switch plates for the lights in the kitchen were disgusting, grimy and sticky. The stove hood where the stove light switch is was gross. The shade in the front window had missing blind areas. Also the fridge froze my drinks.

Room was spacious for a family of 4. Kids got their own bed/ area that doubled as a couch. King size bed was comfortable. Overall a clean place. It could use a good deep cleaning and washing of the curtains but it was fine. The view of the mountains and water was beautiful. The walk to the water was super easy and getting to the snow was a convenient 20-30 min drive. The staff was nice and attentive. We easily got extra towels, blankets and pillows. I would stay here again and recommend for an affordable stay.

First the positives: great location, beautiful beach and lake views, friendly staff! The negatives: extremely small and uncomfortable room, the bed and chair. Miserable! When I say small think cruise ship cabin. NO AC! Very old property. Floors were dirty. We stayed in unit 16 and NEVER AGAIN. I think if you have a water front unit you are good. You get off of the waterfront and it it sketch!

We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into the studio cottage. It was very clean, kitchen was well stocked with nice quality dishwater & cookware. You can tell the care that was put into everything in the space, nothing was old or outdated. We will definitely be staying here again.

A very important thing to note about these rooms is that even if they say lakeside, they are actually roadside. There is not a view of the lake from the lakeside rooms and if you are in one of the rooms along the road, it can be noisy. Our comfort studio could have been nice, but things like a shower door we had to put back on the tracks and drafty windows in the winter took away from the comfort. It's an area that has the potential to be great, but the general listing is misleading for what we actually received.

Great newly renovated room with kitchen. Perfect size for 2 people and great price. We wanted to add an extra night but had trouble reaching the front desk. It was low season but took a while to be able to add that night.

Our cottage was just steps to Lake Tahoe! Comfortable for four. A few maintenance projects; a few small holes in the wall in the bathroom; new blinds on all the windows. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook. However, we had a gas leek from the stove. We were gone one day for about 10 hours and when we arrived back to our cottage, the gas smell was overwhelming! Had that been at night, we would have been in trouble! Called the office and someone came immediately to fix it. Rest of the stay was great.

As advertised, no surprises. We did the after-hours check-in, which was a little unusual, but worked well enough. (Arrive at main office, call number on the door, live person answers and provides you with a lockbox number and the code to get into that box. Walk around to the side of the main office building to find a cupboard full of a dozen or so lock-boxes. Would stay again.

The property is older if you stay on the woods side. Seems like the rooms could be re-vamped a bit for the price and we lost electricity for 12 hours without any apology from the the owners. Seems it is a mixture between privately owned places and places for the hotel. Great beach and location. Just unsure if it is worth the cost.

we booked this place for our first family Christmas celebration away from home and for an early birthday celebration. It was so BEAUTIFUL! the area is very kid friendly, have space to play in the snow. Bryan the property manager was so accommodating. we would definitely come back, considering it for summer time already also.

I have stayed her 5-6 times. It took us 45 minutes to get into our room as we did a late check in and the key card wouldn’t work. I was able to get a hold of their after hours line and they were out in 10 minutes. We thought the room was warm because we had been outside. Unfortunately our heater was broken and would only stay on 2-15 minutes before the pilot would go out if I could get it on. There was a sign on the thermostat that said to turn off and wait a minute and turn back on. I barely slept. There was no space heater so we just had to tough it out as I eventually fell asleep not being able to get up every 10-20 minutes. I reached out to the staff and they apologized and told us they would let the owner know and upgraded us to an amazing place by the lake. What an amazing view!!! We were pleasantly surprised and were so grateful to Brian and Justin for turning the terrible start of our trip around!!! Now I only want lakeside!!!

Unfortunately our heater was broken and would only stay on 2-15 minutes before the pilot would go out if I could get it on. There was a sign on the thermostat that said to turn off and wait a minute and turn back on. I barely slept. There was no space heater so we just had to tough it out as I eventually fell asleep not being able to get up every 10-20 minutes. I reached out to the staff and they apologized and told us they would let the owner know and upgraded us to an amazing place by the lake. What an amazing view!!! We were pleasantly surprised and were so grateful to Brian and Justin for turning the terrible start of our trip around!!! Now I only want lakeside!!!

unfortunately we had problems the first day with the electronic keys not working we had to wait for the manager to come to give us new keys The next day we went for a walk and had dinner when we came back the same problem and we had to call and the person who answered was very rude we had to wait in the car until Braian the manager showed up to solve the problem (The manager Well told me that I report the problem to you and he will reimburse us for one day)

It has a nice peer that goes into the water. NO AC and no restaurants walking distance only a pizzeria and a high class Steak House that you need reservations for it. There are just few cabins by the water and you need to cross the busy road for the others. I reserved thinking I’ll be by the water… not the case

Enjoyed out stay in our own unit at this lodge. Customer service great, managerwas v Brian was very helpful and informative about the complex. We will be returning with more of our family next time. Nice to have beach access, close to food, etc. It felt old school Tahoe, drive up motel. Nice facility, clean.

No relief from the heat! No AC! No canopies or tents are allowed. I understand, no room, but they don't provide umbrellas either. Just a little investing can provide more comfort for your clients during summertime. Only relief was sitting outside at night. Car by day and out of the room by noon due to heat in July. I didn't know and should have read more. The pictures had me booking quick. So again, place is really nice, just not good for a couple wanting relief from the heat. Kids would have loved it, Im sure. Just don't know how their night would hand gone. Uncomfortable beds too. Surprised me considering how much a night. Know you are paying for the location NOT comforts. City is busy as hell on the street too! No elevator NO ice machine NO room service. If you are OK with cooling off in the water ALL DAY. You will be okay. Location is what is the winner here. Steps away from the water. Inside was clean. Saving grace was the fan in the closet.

Buyer beware. We booked a lakeside cabin but were told when we checked in that we had not. We were instead given a cabin across the highway, well away from the lake. Their advertising is deceptive. The room was acceptable except that there was no television service. It is internet TV and there was no signal. This facility is not worth the cost.
