The room was as nice as more expensive places. The weekly rate is a nice option. Nice to have coffee in the lobby all the time. One could have as many wash cloths and towels as one wants. Beds very comfortable.

Always the place for me to stay when in Rockford. The well managed and capable staff are always ready to serve you. Excellent stay for the budget traveler. No breakfast but coffee in the office. Bar of soap only so bring some shampoo with you.

This is an inexpensive motel in a great location, and it has great value! I always choose this motel when I’m passing through this area. The attendants at the desk get the job done! Bed was very comfy. Park right at the door to your room (it’s a motor lodge). It’s great!

Whenever I’m passing through on travels, I always stay at the Alpine Inn. It’s largely a motor inn with drive-up rooms. Free wifi works great. There are residents living in some rooms which didn’t bother me; they were friendly to me. Great mini-fridge. Clean. No clock in room. Shower, bed, and TV = great. Super location in Rockford, IL near restaurants/bars, shops, a gym, and a thrift store all within 1 block from the motel. I’ll def go back!

This property looked well maintained, was convenient to the interstate and with many dining options near by. It was quiet at night and I felt safe as a woman traveling alone. Though the carpet could have used some cleaning, the rest of the room was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and sheets and towels were clean and without stains. Front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was ok, but the bath tub was very dirty. Had dirty foot prints in it. Found trash under the bed. When I layed down in bed I found it was busted. The bed sunk down, where I felt I was in a taco because the sides folded up around me. We opened the window because it was too hot in the place.The blinds fell off because they we're just barley hanging on. The window lock couldnt latch because when they repainted it. They left too much paint behind, so it caused a lip.So you can no longer latch it shut.It was a very unsafe place.

The location was great for getting where I needed to in town. I felt safe and it was quiet for being on such a major road. The wifi dropped several times which was frustrating when I was trying to arrange meetings and do business online. The refrigerator was not plugged in so I am glad I noticed to plug it in a few hours before bringing food in.

Plenty of space. Big comfy bed. May have been renovated recently. Bathroom could’ve used less rust but it was serviceable. No issues with the front desk. Busy stretch of road but things were mostly quiet.

We were originally given a smoking room despite having reserved nonsmoking (staff were apologetic when brought to their attention and made the adjustment). The second room was fairly rundown - though clean - and had an unpleasant odour. Also, the door had a sizeable gap around the seal which affected the sense of privacy as well as let in significant noise from outside. Also no interior lock (e.g. chain slide) was present. That said, staff were pleasant and parking was easy.

Easy check in. Friendly staff. I like that i could park right in front of my door. Room was large. Beds were comfortable and the shower worked great. Could use updating. Room was kind of run down. My room smelled like weed and smoke. Also a musty odor too. Overall a decent place to stay.

the work desk was too tall to work at especially since the chair was broken and couldn't be raised. The sink didnt drain well, the bathroom exhaust fan made a loud noise when turned on. the bathroom was large and generally very clean, adequate lighting options in the room

I checked in at 3:30 am, asking for an 8:30 am wake-up call. I was there long enough to sleep with the shades open. The bed was comfortable. There were 2 bathrooms and a large kitchen. I woke up at 8:28 am on my own.....I never got my call from the front desk. If there was a free breakfast, I never saw it or heard about it. When I turned in my key at the front desk it was un-manned.

We stayed at a different property across town for the weekend, and needed a last-minute place to stay due to a vehicle emergency - I wish we'd stayed here in the first place! Aleigha at the front counter was super nice; we had a nice chat while we waited for the reservation to come from Expedia. I don't think she was supposed to be there that night, but she was still pleasant and attentive. The room was spacious (we stayed in an accessible room) and the bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious and CLEAN. The only issue was that the sink was a little backed up and the fan didn't work, but very minor issues. The property felt safe and was surprisingly quiet for being right next to the main road. We slept soundly. We'd definitely stay at Alpine Inn again the next time we're in Rockford.

Very dated property in "sketchy" area. During check in the police arrived to check on a potential "domestic" incident. I was a solo traveller and stayed for only one night as I was just driving thru so I managed with no issues however I would not recommend this property for families.

It was unsafe. We arrive there where 2 police cars were trying to evict someone. Some drunk and stoned woman asked me to come to her room for a party. We felt it was dangerous to stay. We left and went to a nice clean peaceful, safe hotel.

Very inviting Lobby open 24 hours. Staff was nice. Rooms nice and ample. Very affordable rate. Savon store next door open 24 hours and breakfast cafe across the street. Plenty of business on the street.
