Welcome to Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, one of the most pleasant towns in eastern Paris, known for its residential atmosphere, quiet neighborhoods, and beautiful Marne riverbanks. We are a welcoming family with three children (ages 6, 9, and 16), ready to host you in our family home located in a peaceful residential area. Enjoy a warm, family-friendly atmosphere—children are welcome and will find age-appropriate toys. Pets are allowed for an extra fee. You'll have your own independent living space: a spacious bedroom with a double bed, sofa, desk (for remote work), kettle, and coffee maker; a bright living-dining room; a fully equipped kitchen (sink, compact fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, cooking utensils, dishes and cutlery for 6; coffee, tea, herbal teas, and sugar provided, washing machine); and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. Aux bords de Marne is more than just a place to sleep: with advance booking and for an extra fee, enjoy a convivial table d'hôtes dinner. Babysitting is available on request. Picnic baskets can be arranged with your hosts. Welcome basket available for late arrivals. Perfect for exploring Paris, Disneyland Paris, or Île-de-France: Paris is 15 km away (15 minutes by RER A), Disneyland Paris is 30-40 minutes by car, Parc Astérix 35 minutes away. Saint-Maur, nestled in a bend of the Marne, offers walking and cycling paths along the river, plus lively local life with shops, markets, restaurants, theater, and cinemas.
