The resort is in a beautiful spot in the woods and right near the San Lorenzo River. The staff are friendly and the check-in was smooth - after direct communication with the resort. We booked the two-bedroom cottage with a loft. Appreciated the full kitchen but do wish the resort would invest in some new towels and blankets. The towels were at least 10 years old as were the blankets and my son said the one on his bed did not smell pleasant. Overall though a great venue and will book again.

This a one and done for us. Way too much money per night for what you get. Our cabin was barely worth half that. When we arrived at about 2:30 per for a 3:00 pm check-in, the room was not ready. Okay, but it seemed clear that the room had not even been touched since the last guests checked out at 11 am as one employee walked to the cabin with cleaning supplies in hand. We left and came back about an hour later. No check in there. You grab your key off of a bulletin board and go to your cabin with no advisement. We walk into the cabin and there is a strange smell. Don't know what it is but what we do know is that there is an oily residue on all the surfaces in the bedroom. It appears cleaning the wood cabin bedroom includes spraying it with some sort of oil soap that didn't get wiped off. Our books and phones had to be wiped off with a rag I had in my car. The refrigerator is missing shelves. The foundation of the cabin is sinking in the back so you walk uphill from the bedroom to the front room. The "loft" has a mattress on the ground and is barely useable. A very uninviting plastic picnic table on a bed of rocks is your outdoor space. There is no way I would use the on site EV charger, not that I could anyways, as a non EV car was blocking the parking spot the entire time. Only service dogs allowed there but the on site staff have an aggressive German shepherd that barks at the guests. We burned our second booked night.

A lovely old fashioned resort bungalows in the redwoods. We were attending a concert nearby in Felton and the hotel was very conveniently located. Super easy checkin and check out. Very friendly hosts. I wish that I'd stayed for an additional day to properly enjoy tge setting.

This little cabin we stayed in was tucked in at the edge of the Redwoods, near Santa Cruz. This was a lovely location while traveling up the California coast.

The area was nice. The cabinets were a little old and they need renovation. We had a good time. Just be aware that the Cabin ms are a little bit outdated.
