This in the historic district centrally located. The street that it is located on is a limited access street. The staff was beyond exceptional in helping to rectify camera ticket that I got while dropping off elderly at hotel. If you’re on the road after 6 you get a ticket and have to go to police station next day to take of. That road is the only way to access hotel. If you are traveling with elderly or children or have a car I would not recommend this hotel. If you’re traveling by foot the room was large clean, the bed was very comfortable. The staff were outstanding. The hotel parking is about a mile away. You need to pay a cab to take you with your luggage to access car.

Sehr schönes Hotel in bester Lage und damit nicht ganz ruhig gelegen. Das Hotel ist sehr schön, leider hört man viele Geräusche von der Straße. Alles andere ist sehr schön. Der Parkplatz zum Hotel ist außerhalb der Altstadt und damit nur nach längerem Fußweg erreichbar. Man kann vom Hotel ein kostenpflichtigen Shuttle nutzen. Frühstück ist gut.

I loved the location in the old town. Once you arrive at the hotel there is no need for a car. It would be a good idea to share the remote parking lot gate code before arrival in case of phone trouble, which we had.

Hotellet var over forventning. Koselig erverdig hotell med hyggelig betjening. Vanskelig å komme med bil, må parkere utenfor gamlebyen. Gode senger, fint bad og liten balkong. Sentralt for det meste i gamlebyen. Ingen basseng, men havet er i gåavstand.

Très bel établissement, en plein cœur historique de Cefalù, au milieu des restos, des cafés, des boutiques, de l'animation touristique, à quelques mètres de la mer et au pied de la montée vers le parc du château. Accueil impeccable autant en italien qu'en français, chambres propres, bien aménagées et confortables. A noter, l'hôtel est totalement inaccessible en voiture, ne serait-ce même que pour y décharger bagages et passagers. Il faut compter un petit quart d'heure de marche depuis le parking (payant) excentré, offert aux clients, ou opter pour le service de transport proposé (payant). On choisit La Plumeria pour séjourner dans le magnifique centre originel d'une très vieille ville, plutôt que dans les centres balnéaires luxueux de sa périphérie - et on comprend que cela entraîne certaines contraintes. Petit bémol, l'hôtel facture des suppléments pour certains services qui devraient couler de source dans la catégorie où il se positionne, par exemple pour la garde des bagages pour quelques heures de visite des environs, avant ou après le séjour.

Can’t drive in the historic area. Parking was tough. We had to park 15 minutes away and lugged our bags. The staff was very helpful. November is a low tourist time so a number of restaurants were not open.

The room was upgraded, the room was spacious and comfortable, very relaxed feel. We like the bed it was just right for us. Very clean bathroom and everything was finished to a high standard. The staff were friendly from start to finish.

Unbelievable bad experience. Start with rooms. It is old mansion. They took hallway and build in rooms with plywood and some drywall . I’m in construction and this is such a bad job. Anyone who was checking we can hear them talk. Room have hair everywhere. Bathroom dirty. Pool dirty and old. Pics do not portray place correctly. We pay 180 euros and honestly I will not pay 50. Ph and breakfast. At 8:30 am. Everything was empty no water no eggs. Empty jars. So bizarre. This is worst stay we got so far in Sicily. I don’t understand. Building got huge potential. But it’s almost like they don’t care

The hotel was centrally located in the old section of Cefalu and was a great location for shopping and eating. The hotel itself was average at best. It was clean but the hallway had a sewer odor and the shower drain didn’t drain very fast causing the shower pan to fill up. The breakfast was not wonderful and there are so many great coffee shops around it was fine to eat somewhere else. Also know that since it is in the main shopping and dining areas, it’s very loud at night and in the morning.

Hôtel très bien situé au centre de cefalu. Attention zone à restriction de circulation donc pas de voiture, mais un parking est disponible avant l’entrée avec une navette payante. Sinon à pied 15 minutes. Par contre chambre vieillotte et pas très clean beaucoup de poussières, salle de bain également avec mauvaise odeur. De plus clim qui fonctionne tout juste…

We stayed for two nights here and we would absolutely recommend it to other travellers. The location is in the heart of the old town, literally steps to exceptional sea side dining options, boutique shopping, and a beautiful quiet area on the beach to enjoy. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the hotel is spotless and safe. Excellent choice that allowed us to maximize our time in this stunning sea side community.

no view and smallish room but staff and vibe make up for this. incredibly helpful manager-always with a smile. because right in the heart of the old city ,view and room size sacrificed-but well worth it. and beach just an alleyway away!

I loved it there. It was perfectly located to walk to all areas of old town and was not too far from the gate so if you want to walk to the old harbor or beyond, it works. I could easily go back to the room to change or drop something. It is close to the beach, duomo and shopping. People running the desk were helpful. Had a nice little balcony and great AC. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Almost a stop in the shower, so you're standing in a pool of water. Our a/c was also weird, making noice during the night. Pretty thin walls so could here when the neighbor took a shower. Otherwise very clean and good location

La Plumeria could not be better located (but do ask for the transfer if you park the car!) for access to the cathedral, old town, beach, restaurants. Our room was very quiet (except for a mother seagull scolding her chicks that were misbehaving), as was the patio where we had breakfast. The only drawback was our room--up in the attic, so we had to carry our bag up, very low ceiling, bathroom on a different level (within room). So be sure you know!

Very accommodating staff. Instructed where to safely park the car (limited traffic zone). If driving,advice: locate hotel, unload your bags, register, park your vehicle. Very clean, charming and romantic. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

The room was big and clean but needed some additional attention for a top rating. The mini bar was empty with no water in the room. There were no glasses provided in the room either...just a tired paper cup in the empty refrigerator. The breakfast buffet was not as varied or as good as in the other hotels that we stayed in during our stay in Sicily and the breakfast staff was pretty absent and uninterested in the clients. The front desk was very helpful in booking a cab for us before we arrived but not so friendly once we got there. The location is very very convenient- with a little effort the hotel could be great.

Absolutely amazing… out of a film. We turned up and were given a room straight away in the late morning with no fuss. Nothing was too much for them and the service was faultless. Charming room.

No instructions for parking and poor signage in town. Tried calling and no one answered the phone. The loft twin beds were not made up and the mattresses were as hard as a rock! Not enough towels.

Sehr schönes Hotel in bester Lage und damit nicht ganz ruhig gelegen. Das Hotel ist sehr schön, leider hört man viele Geräusche von der Straße. Alles andere ist sehr schön. Der Parkplatz zum Hotel ist außerhalb der Altstadt und damit nur nach längerem Fußweg erreichbar. Man kann vom Hotel ein kostenpflichtigen Shuttle nutzen. Frühstück ist gut.

Hotellet var over forventning. Koselig erverdig hotell med hyggelig betjening. Vanskelig å komme med bil, må parkere utenfor gamlebyen. Gode senger, fint bad og liten balkong. Sentralt for det meste i gamlebyen. Ingen basseng, men havet er i gåavstand.

The hotel is a very nice boutique hotel right at the end of Corso Ruggero, the main tourtist shopping street and right in the middle of the city. Very convenient to the train station. It is walkable, but if you have physical limitations or a lot of luggage, you can take a taxi. The hotel has a really nice breakfast room, with possibilities of eating outside, and a good international breakfast buffet. The staff was professional and personable. In fact, I had to leave early before breakfast hours, but was still offered coffee, yogurt and biscotti. My room was nice and comfortable, albeit a little cool in March, as there didn't seem to be any heat. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a very pleasant 2 night stay here. The location cannot be beaten but the hotel manages to remain calm and quiet. The free parking worked exactly as described and there was barely any wait for the shuttle to the hotel. The breakfast was very good and all the staff we encountered were helpful and engaged.

The hotel was centrally located in the old section of Cefalu and was a great location for shopping and eating. The hotel itself was average at best. It was clean but the hallway had a sewer odor and the shower drain didn’t drain very fast causing the shower pan to fill up. The breakfast was not wonderful and there are so many great coffee shops around it was fine to eat somewhere else. Also know that since it is in the main shopping and dining areas, it’s very loud at night and in the morning.

The room was big and clean but needed some additional attention for a top rating. The mini bar was empty with no water in the room. There were no glasses provided in the room either...just a tired paper cup in the empty refrigerator. The breakfast buffet was not as varied or as good as in the other hotels that we stayed in during our stay in Sicily and the breakfast staff was pretty absent and uninterested in the clients. The front desk was very helpful in booking a cab for us before we arrived but not so friendly once we got there. The location is very very convenient- with a little effort the hotel could be great.

The hotel provides parking several blocks from the hotel so they must be contacted if transportation to the hotel is requested. Breakfast is the only meal provided. The room was small but clean with a small balcony facing the street. We were two friends traveling together and would have preferred twin beds but had to share a queen. But overall the hotel and stay was wonderful.

The staff were extremely couteous and helpful. The location was superb. The building was gorgeous. The 12 noon checkout time allowed for a lisurely morning and extra sightseeing. Running along the seafront was great exercise.

Lovely hotel - lots of dark furniture and tiled floors, felt cool, clean and comfortable. Recommended the taxi transfer service from the hotel's car park as it would be a long drag up Corso Ruggero with the cases. Lovely base for our stay in Cefalu.
