The hotel staff was fine. The breakfast splash bar was okay. However, the transportation shuttles to the theme parks would get you there, but coming back they was notoriously 30-40 minutes late each evening and sometimes a no show, leaving people to get an Uber or taxi.

The people at the front desk and housekeeping were all very accommodating and friendly! The property is mostly well-maintained, and they have lovely amenities like free parking, a shuttle to the theme parks (which we did not use), free daily breakfast, packages accepted, housekeeping offered, a pool on-site, and even a lovely private pond with a fountain and picnic tables to enjoy nature! We esp loved that pond. ❤️ The biggest inconvenience that they really should rectify is not having coffee always available (if not offering coffee makers in the rooms like most hotels, then at least have it in the lobby all the time!) — their daily breakfast stops at 9:00am (which seems so early!) but then from 9-11 there is no coffee available anywhere! 😢 And the day we checked out, there was still no coffee in the lobby even after 11:00. That was a big disappointment. Some of us need our coffee! (And not everyone on vacation is awake and dressed and ready to walk downstairs to another building for breakfast at 8am every morning!) Please serve consistent coffee. But otherwise, we loved the place. Extended our original planned 3-night stay to 5 nights. I do recommend it! (Just bring your own coffee, just in case…)

Its a good hotel to just spend the night when you go to parks and thats it. Nothing out of the ordinary. You can tell the property is a bit old but nothing to worry about tbh. Amenities like small soaps and shampoo are provided, also, hair dryer and towels ofcourse. Breakfast included is a plus. You can book a free shuttle to any of the parks. The downside of the shuttle is that its not very punctual when they pick you up at the parks and you have to do the route picking up / dropping off other people at other hotels (it turns annoying since you are really tired after a long day ; this only for Disney parks, Universal is pretty close by). The front desk service was very good and the room we got was clean and quiet. Free parking is good. We didnt give a 5 star on cleanliness just because the cleaning service for your room is upon request only at the front desk. You can find lots of restaurants and entertainment around the area. Location is very convenient. Universal Parks are very close. Disney Parks and Sea World are a bit far but nothing exagerated. Very good overall.

First problem was the roof flooded with water all over the floor because of an issue with the AC unit. I wasn't alowed to change room and had to wait for maintenance to come and take apart the AC and shop vac the water. Then sop up water with towels. Second problem was the desk clerk who checked me in only activated my room keys for one day so I couldn't enter my room upon returning. So I had to walk back to check in to get new keys. Third problem was the room is full of BLACK MOLD. I get that Florida is humid but black mold is toxic. It was disgusting and front desk couldn't care less about all the inconveniences.

i mean you get what you pay for..but i’ve paid $50 and had way better 😂 even disney hotels get that low sometimes. i’m a frequent orlando visitor and this is by far the worst hotel i’ve stayed at. even took photos. everything was dirty, busted looking and the bed was equivalent to a giant damp jail cot. yes it was damp. lol save your $50 and do not trust these other “good” reviews 😭

This property was nice on the outside but had mold on the inside. I had to ask for my room to be changed because there was a lot of mold in the bathroom and on the lamp. Got a different room and it still had mold in it but wasn’t that bad!

The good: The property was clean and the staff was friendly. They fixed an issue with our door lock while we were away for the day and had new keys all ready for us upon our return. Breakfast was decent, with several choices. The water in the shower was hot and the water pressure was great. Driving distance to Universal and surrounding I-Drive attractions is excellent. The bad: Don’t believe the “10 minute walk to Universal” in the description. It’s at least double that unless you just want to be on the fringes of Universal property. There were several things noted in disrepair - the back door to the lobby, the bathroom door in our room, and one of the elevators was out. Our phone was missing the cord for the handset so we had to go to the lobby in the next building to request new towels, something they don’t do regularly unless asked. The ugly: The beds were very uncomfortable, with springs hitting every pressure point. The pillows were small and lumpy.

Very easy with check in and the staff seemed friendly. Our room had an overwhelming smell of chemicals that we had to air out as we settled in but it definitely lingered. The beds were rock hard and my family decided to use blankets brought on our trip due to stains on the bedding. Walls were thin and you heard everyone walking by or the wheels rolling by from luggage or employees with carts moving around...it was noisy. The complimentary breakfast was okay but we opted to find better the second morning. If you are looking for a place to not break the bank while spending more on the activities in town, this hotel fits the bill. The ease of their location to fun places in Orlando was great, especially if going to Universal.

The photos online look better than this property. The front desk was rude and hung up on me twice when I politely called and asked for an iron & ironing board. Then, I walked all the way back to the front desk and they said that an iron would be delivered to my room. I told them that I needed an iron because I’m a business traveler with dress shirts for work. - No one came and brought me an iron for my 3-night stay. - Also, the beds were old and not comfortable. The metal coils in the beds could be felt. Not a comfortable nights sleep. - There was no housekeeping for my 3-night stay and I had to ask the front desk for more towels. - The complimentary breakfast was just waffles and cereal. No eggs or protein. I do not recommend staying at this property.

Really well located in the international drive near to Universal Studios, walkable area with nearby restaurants. This place have nice rooms, however the funky smell like a wet wood is very noticiable. They are very strict on the check out time, they knock our door 2 times for room service 1 hour before the check out time. The phone in the room is dead. It was an ok stay.

Felt like a below average place. Check in very smooth, room was okay with room cleaning by request only, was extremely humid in the room, mold seen in the shower, cochroaches were seen running around in the halls (none in the room though), below average breakfast with what tasted like sunnyD for orange juice.

We booked this hotel very last minute trying to tack on a quick trip to universal before starting our Disney honeymoon. This hotel was not very nice… hard bed, limited towels, mold and rust on the lampshades. We were only staying two nights and we got up and rushed out on check out day. Stuck it out since we had no where else to stay before checking into our Disney resort

We did not like anything. First room assigned was advised go to elevators and take up to our room. Went all the way out there with luggage to find elevator not working and desk knew about this. 2nd room given dirty walls. Door frame to room damaged. Dresser drawers broken. Thank God only stayed one night and left early next morning. Will never stay there again. Horrible choice...

Very basic room, plus had pay very high security deposit £78 ( which took ages to come back had ask my bank to step in) Very basic free breakfast just waffles and toast and fruit! We unpacked all our belongings in the first room, only to discover a few hours later that the door wouldn’t lock from the outside. After reporting it to the front desk, we were moved to another room and told that someone might fix it and we could return the next day. The next morning, we woke up to a flooded floor. At the reception, they casually mentioned, “Oh yes, you’re not supposed to touch the AC”—which we had only turned off because it was freezing. Once again, we had to pack and move to a different room, which didn’t even have a safe. By then, it was already our second day, and no one had fixed the door in the first room. When we asked about the safe, we were told, “If there isn’t one, then there isn’t.” We were offered four other rooms: one with a broken door, another with a flooded floor, and two without safes. The only “solution” they suggested afterwards was for us to check out, which was not what we wanted. On top of all this, our room was never cleaned during our entire stay—not even once.

Check-in was quick and seamless—took no more than five minutes. Our room (102) was spotless and smelled fresh and clean; it was clear that housekeeping did an excellent job preparing it. The entire property felt safe and secure, and the location is incredibly convenient—just off a major highway and close to a variety of stores and restaurants. There was one minor hiccup during our stay: a false fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. While it was definitely an inconvenience, the staff handled the situation promptly and had everything inspected and guests back in their rooms within 10 minutes or so. Anytime we needed something—whether it was extra toilet paper, trash bags, or fresh towels—the staff was always friendly and accommodating. As for the breakfast, while it’s quite basic (as others have mentioned), it’s a nice touch and certainly better than nothing.

I only had two bad experiences: 1. The first girl who served us wasn't very friendly. It seemed like I was bothering her by asking for a room. She wasn't very friendly, didn't smile, and didn't give me any options. I felt more like she was trying to avoid me. 2. We were offered free service to take us to the Orlando theme park, and the shuttle never showed up. The hotel didn't even bother to apologize or give any explanations. We wasted the entire morning of our one-day ticket waiting!

Upon checking in I was assigned room 222. Went to the room & it smelled wet and moldy. Crown molding was separated at the ceiling like there was water damage. Went back to front desk & was moved to room 147. Checked in & saw that the tub was dirty but decided to just go & get dinner as it was already late. Came back & asked for extra towels to stand on in the shower. Young lady never really acknowledged me just handed them over. Went to close the bathroom door to shower & found a huge pair of dirty underwear on the floor! Immediately went back to have my room changed again. Was assigned to room 247 which was a bit cleaner but the toilet barely flushed with just urine & tissue. My stay was only 2 days so I sucked it up. My interaction with the 2 front desk ladies was less than pleasant. On Monday morning I checked out & the manager happened to be working. He’s the ONLY employee that greeted me during my entire stay. He was very helpful & refunded my stay. I just have to reach out to Expedia to collect it. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone ever. Just spend the extra few bucks for a clean room…. There should never be leftover dirty underwear in your hotel rooms

PROS: 1- Good location: close to International Drive and Universal Studios, 2- Free parking, 3- No resort fee, 4- Overall very friendly staff, especially Ms. Pilar, 5- Breakfast included sliced bread, butter, jams, muffins, some fruit (orange, apple or banana), machine that offers coffee, milk, cereals, machine with whole juices like apple and orange and you can make your own waffle, 6-They receive up to 5 orders free of charge, they just ask that you schedule deliveries for the week they arrive, 7-has trash cans on the floors, ice machine,8-good shower, with good pressure, 9- silent place. CONS: 1- extremely humid and musty room. So humid that it was slippery, 2- Room cleaning is only done if requested 1 day in advance, but it's OK because you'll be notified at check-in. 3- The windows don't have privacy film. So if you're in the room during the day, you'll have to keep the curtains closed if you want privacy. 4- At check-in, a guarantee of USD 100.00 is requested on your credit card, which they inform you will be refunded within 7-10 days after check-out. I hope they refund the amount soon CONCLUSION: Overall, we were satisfied with the hotel, but we wouldn't stay there again due to the dampness and mold, which can be dangerous to our health and comfort. If this problem were resolved, we would definitely stay there again.

There was a smell when we first walked into the room and you could hear the suitcases and cleaning carts rolling outside all morning but besides that, the stay was great. Breakfast was served in the mornings but get pretty busy. There was a lot of restaurants and stores nearby and it was just a short drive from universal . I would stay here again

Location was great, breakfast was good scrambled eggs, sausage rounds, waffles, breads, cereals, muffins, fresh fruit and juice, coffee, tea, milk, hot chocolate. But wear always wear something on your feet…they don’t wash floors. Our beds were comfy!

Overall a good budget friendly (M)Hotel . Room was an Ok size . If all you’re looking for is to lay your head down and get a good nights sleep then this place works . The property is small so don’t expect a lot of amenities. Breakfast was carbs only , no protein ( no eggs or any meets ) which was a disappointment.

Waffles and muffins was only breakfast available our first morning. There was bread for toasting and some fresh fruit added the second morning. Parking was free and it was great to park near the elevator. The room was clean and had been recently renovated. There were several other rooms being refurbished also. Mario at front desk said new owners are making a lot of improvements.
