Hot tub didn't work

No hot tub wasn’t told when made reservations

Walls were very thin and you could hear everything in the rooms next door and above. Hot tub was broken and pool was cold. Toilet ran all night. Our stay at the holiday inn next door was much better.

Front desk staff was friendly. Computer issues resulted in only one room key available for a while until they brought a second key. Pool and hot tub were out of order, much to the dismay of my 14 year old son that wanted to swim after a day of driving. Exercise room had only two of six ceiling lights working and the temperature was 81 even though the thermostat was set at 50. Breakfast was okay but certainly can get better at HI Express. Only reason I didn't ding the review worse was because the actual room was good, clean and beds were comfortable. I'd find a different place if I was in the area.

Hot tub was not working/ usable. The indoor pool was too cold to swim in comfortably.

The main reason i booked this place rather than a few other options i had was for the hotub and when i arrived it had caution tape around it. After a long day of hiking i was looking forward to the hot water. I wish i would have known in advance. Other than that the stay was great. Smelled really good , clean , good breakfast ,staff.

I just wish I didn’t have to take a cold shower

I thought it was a little pricey and then add on the fee for the dogs. Upon arrival at 8 pm there was no carts to carry our luggage. I only saw 1 cart the next morning.

The room was wonderful. The employees were wonderful. You need to update on the pool area. They’re waiting for a part for the heater on the pool and there is no longer a hot tub there.

I liked the property. I objected to the pet fee of $75.00 per night!! That was half of the price of the room! It was late and we were very tired, but I will check into the pet fee policy at Hampton Inn before staying at one again.

Stained carpet, heavily worn upholstery on chairs.

Rooms are very dusty, floors are dirty. They lied about the pool situation and when request a refund they did not grant us one.

This property is starting to show its age. Our room smelled strange, and our door was rubbing the frame so bad that that you had to pull it hard to get it to shut. It was obvious that it had been this way for a long time and had not been repaired. Ceiling tiles in the hallway were showing water damage and one was not there. Area outside exterior entrance was dirty, and employees were smoking or vaping outside the front entrance.

If you have a handicapped or elderly person using cane , walker or wheelchair this place is not for you. Floors were slick , people cleaning them had no clue about safety measures or corrections. Reserved room for handicapped person with accommodations bars in bathroom etc. the room that they 1st gave me 2nd floor 221 farthest room possible, key wouldn’t work and a do not disturb on the door. 2nd room, 211 handicap for hearing impaired, not physically. No bars in bathroom bed was so high off the ground my Mom couldn’t get in it . Worked with guy at the front desk for over 30mins… he said he had nothing else .. reserved room over 3 wks ago.. took 211. Nice guy at desk found a work around for the bathroom situation. Twice a person cleaning floors not doing it right leaving floor’s extremely slick with not yellow signs. Took towels to dry floor in front on employee’s to get my Mom with a walker through building safety. Day 2 , downstairs bathroom handicap marked .. floor so slick , deceiving the way it looked .. mom slid down doing the splits.. had to slide her out . Got an employee to help me Get her up and into a wheelchair. No apology or incident paperwork filled out … Nightmare. What is a person to do to get help? Only stayed there because it was close to funeral attending from out of town… never again

The thermostat was hanging off the wall when we arrived in the room. However, they promptly fixed it and everything was fine.

I arrived and the front desk person had a difficult time checking me in...computer seemed to be giving him trouble. When i opened the door the room was the smallest room i have ever seen in a moder hotel! The 1st morning the breakfast was lacking, biscuits, little quarter sized sausage cut very thin, one in the pan. Dry hasbrown patties? The gym had a sign up that inferred it was closed. I found out at check out it wasn't closed, just remodeling. One night my key card didnt work, Kenny had to let me in. The hot water heater was being replaced/repaired? And there was lukewarm water in the shower. I will say the mattress was wonderful. My rate was 250.00 per night!- my room at Home2Suites in St. Louis was 189.99 for a huge unit with a full kitchen. I was disappointed in the Farmington Hampton Inn. I have family in Farmington but when i visit next year I will not stay at the Hilton Hampton Inn. The person at the front desk did refund a day but my total bill was 998.00. That is quite a sum for sch a small room.

Room felt cramped and was not Handicap accessible at all as I had requested. Cleaning the room every other day and not giving guests any other option was not welcome at all.

Room was clean but I could hear everything happening next door and in the hallway. Ice machine was downstairs and took me a while to find. I asked for more tissues and never received them. James was great when I checked in. At breakfast, I listened to two female employees complain about his work ethic the entire time I was eating. No one present at checkout. Just a fish bowl to leave keys in.

The hotel was nice, clean, and comfortable. The doors are soooo loud though! It was hard to sleep the first night because the door just slams off and on all night. Night two, I put a towel down in front of the door which helped keep some of the noise down. I also played some music low, so I could sleep a bit better. That was also helpful. I was in room 101, but my friend was in room 104, and had the same trouble. The breakfast was nice! Most continental breakfasts are not great, but this one exceeded my expectations. It wasn't gourmet, but it was very good for an "included" breakfast.

Asked for a quite room and it was anything but. Could hear every footstep from room above all night long.

Staff was average, gave us the wrong type of room, and had to change the next day, there was no hot water the second morning and the breakfast was ok, but not like we have had at other Hampton Inns.

The front desk crew were absent for 20 minutes when I checked in Hotel overall was run down, dirty and just wasn’t very up to date One ice machine for the entire property

Zero notice cancellation because they overbooked and decided to boote from my room 7 hours from home. They offered no help in getting me lodging either. Absolute joke.

Very professional staff and kind

We stayed 2 nights at this location and a party was going on on our floor until 4 in the morning. We called the front desk twice to let them know but nothing was done. I had to sleep in to catch up on sleep and missed breakfast because of it. We were not compensated in any way. Horrible experience. I will not be staying here ever again or any Hampton location.

It was within a 5 minute drive to the school for a wrestling tournament. The front desk was accommodating when i asked if they had a room on 1st floor.

TV good quality, prefer choosing station from a laminated copy of TV stations. Morning Food Service seemed unprepared for a good breakfast crowd. Great Customer service when present! Good wi-fi, Clean room, a bit noisy near the vending room ground floor. Breakfast 2 out of 5.

Stayed here prior to the eclipse. They were very busy but very nice and the breakfast was good. No issues with the stay at all.

Everything was fine except the pool and hot tub was closed for renovation and there was no mentioning of this prior to booking. I would have chose a different hot had i of known. Breakfast area was not stocked very well for those who ate later
