Dirty sheets, dirty bathroom. Unhelpful staff. I understand this being a motel and it need not be fancy, but it could be simple and humble BUT CLEAN. There is no excuse for being smelly and dirty.

The bed constantly creaks when turning from right to left in bed. Mattress must be changed. Heating is provided by AC unit and it is very noisy. Shower smelled of mold and damp. Carpet nested with dust.

Bugs on the walls. Bugs in the refrigerator. Broken bathroom fixtures. A/C and heat not working. Stains on the walls that I think are feces (not going to check too closely). The room was like a drug flophouse scene from a tv detective movie. This facility is truly unfit for human habitation. The lobby shown in the picture is the only clean area. I got in very late at night and would have slept in the car except for the folks using drugs in the parking lot. I slept with the light on to try to keep the bugs off me. I have been in jails and this is the worst place I have ever had to overnight. Too bad there's no way to share pics and video of this place.

There were bugs, stains, holes in the sheets, rust, open windows, and the front desk wouldn't answer the phone. Didn't even stay, just left. Do not go here!

Still waiting on my money was butten by bed bugs, shower curtain was filty, had to clean to be able to shower. Checked in mostly late at nights so got a chance to see the property it was very filty. Front desk gentle was helpful but need them to reemburse my money please. They totally acted like me being bitten was ok.. thanks to expedia they assisted me in finding another facility. Will never stay there every again.. management need to be more understanding and respectful of customer need and incidents.

DON’T STAY HERE! My friend and I were biking the Empire State trail which runs very near this hotel so we booked a one night stay on our cycling trip. Check in is a small room with bullet proof glass. Entering our room it was obvious that it had been broken into. The door frame was busted and then nailed back together. The room had a bad odor, bathroom dirty with used wash cloth in the shower, used bed cloths in the closet, only chair in the room was broken, TV didn’t work and the room had roaches. We decided to leave and bike 20 more miles to another hotel. This hotel needs to be closed, fumigated and renovated. Until that happens, it should be removed from website listings.

Absolutely disgusting room conditions. The first room I was offered was inaccessible due to a missing key. I was then offered a different room with a non-functioning television. That second room reeked of cigarette smoke, had food crumbs all over one of the beds, and visible dirt in the shower area. Disgusting, poorly maintained property. Avoid at all costs. Stay literally anywhere else.

Very disappointing. The room had a weird smell that permeated the pillows and bedding. The air conditioner did not work. One drawer was missing and it was generally in a very sad state. Very old and decrepid room. The credit card machine does not work if pin is required.

The room was clean, but whoever was in the room next to us (105) had their tv on ALL NIGHT! Did not get much sleep. I would not go back or recommend this place.

Our stay was very comfortable with exception of the heater. It was extremely loud and noisy. Because it was so cold outside it was going on and off all night long. People in next room were very loud after Midnight but maybe because it was a holiday?

Overall satisfied with the experience given the price and would go again. Clean bed. Plenty hot water and heat. These are 3 exceptions: 1) Unable to reach the internet through the room WiFi. It connected to the account, but couldn't get any webpages. 2) No TV channels available in the evening. It did work the following morning, though. 3) Adequate heat, but the heater unit was mounted at the ceiling. I could not find a remote for it.

We have stayed here before and the rooms have been renovated recently and are nice. Our room was spacious, refrigerator, microwave, desk, table with two chairs, etc. There is no coffee maker or iron. This motel is close to a 24 hour diner, gas, and shopping. We will definitely stay again.

This place is kind of a you get what you pay for place. The people were really nice, but it is really in need of an overhaul. The room was warm and the shower was hot, but I did see a couple of bugs running around in there. But the room is pretty large (for the price) and I was comfortable there. I will confess that I'm a smoker and it's hard to find smoking rooms anymore so that did add to my enjoyment, but maybe not yours.. Not a bad place though and it certainly felt safe.

I reserved a non-smoking room yet the room smelled like cigar smoke, the TV wasn't working and the manager said it needed reprogrammed but he didn't know how to do that. When asked for a different room I was told they were all filled which was not true because when I refused to stay for the second night, he offered me a Smoking room. I couldn't deal with this, so I left and was told he could not refund the money for the second night

I got to the hotel late because I went to a concert in Mahopac. The attended said they tried to contact me and couldn’t get in touch me. And decided to cancel my room. This is the first hotel ever that canceled my room that was paid for already. I was disappointed and tired that night. If they did call he didn’t leave a message to call him back. Plus I was in the concert hall enjoying the concert from 6:30-10:00. They should have kept my reservation since it was paid for on a credit card. I realize it’s a budget hotel but it was paid for.

The front desk area is locked. You need to ring a bell to get into the lobby. Then the guy acts like it’s major inconvenience to check you in. There’s a laundry cart full of dirty laundry outside my window. The room is extremely rundown. This place should be half the price.

When we got there by 11 pm , the room was dirty n it stunk like cigarettes, none on the appliances work. , we went back to the office to see if we can get a difference room, and they told us there was none available n couldn't give me a refund nor they had noo0ne to clean the room, horrible experiences.

Not a place for families. Booked a room for a guest coming from out of state. It looked fine online but it was pretty gross. Staff was very confused during check in and tried to charge us twice. When they got to the room the door was wide open ( as if it was being aired out) and there were cockroaches inside. My guest said the room key stopped working and he had to go get help from the office late at night. Seedy and not well maintained.

Trying to book places several hours beforehand didn't work at every place I tried that claimed to have availability. So I had to keep to going further away and at least I was able to find a bed. That's all the place has going for it. I kept ringing the bell when I got there and had to call to get the office manager to come downstairs. The place smells and the toilet keep running intermittently. Would not ever come back.

The location is very convenient and easy to find. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Because of the longer driveway, it's quiet and calm. A 24/7 diner is just a few steps away. I will definitely return.

Nice area. Its a plain room but the new customer service man at the front was really a lovely person. I thought i forgot my book and he tried to look for it. I did pack it but I thought the man was very pleasant.

Owner insisted I pay cash. Smoke alarm missing from ceiling. Room smelled strongly of cigarettes even though it had a non-smoking sign on door. On a positive note, it's very close to the Empire State bike trail and Mario's, the Italian restaurant next door is excellent and a good value.
