Booked this hotel as it is near the port where i was joining a cruise ship. The staff were excellent, and the hotel was fabulous. I booked this hotel because of the great amenities advertised, however there was no transparency on additional costs, the Pool and Spa cost €25 for an hour and a half, you can only use one coffee capsule then you have to pay for further ones … not great.

The property is great. No faults. However the problems come when having a street facing room. People don’t stop partying on the weekend at the club down the street til 6am. It’s a joke. Half our nights were ruined because of the shouting and screaming outside. Zero sleep which is the whole reason we book a hotel like this. Spa. Annoying you have to pay to use it. Never usually had this when booking a 5* hotel and if it was made clearer we would have booked elsewhere. 25euro per person for just an hour. No time to relax at all. Nice place, but will be our last visit.

The swimming pool access costs €25 per person. It’s an obvious issue because over our 4 night stay we heard many people complaining to the front desk and it is not clear AT ALL on Expedia. The hotel rooms are beautiful and the staff were wonderful. The breakfast is great. The area is fabulous and the city fantastic. It’s a 10, so it’s unfortunate about the pool.

We had a few problems during our stay, the shower first of all was very temperamental, flashes of burning hot water and then times where there was no hot water at all, the air con had two settings, off or full blast. We went to use the pool one day and were told that because it was a spa pool it could only be used for 1 hour and it had to be booked. So we booked, went and then on check out had a 50 euro charge on our bill - at no point were we told we would have to pay to use the pool, not when we checked in, not when we booked it, not once. We were told the receptionist would speak to her manager and email us about this issue but it's been a week and we have heard nothing. Don't book it for the pool, it isn't worth it, however the location and bar area is good.

This is a beautiful spa hotel with a fun pool. You must pay to use it ($25/person) even if you get services. We had a facial and a massage, which were both great. The rooms were very nice and had a large whirlpool tub for a relaxing bath. Their automatic blackout shades were great! It was very quiet and dark. We enjoyed a tasting menu dinner in their Michelin restaurant (Asador Las Abetos). We were referred to El Mosquito for a great dinner. We highly recommended a visit to this city if you are in the region.

I stayed in a superior double and it was spacious, clean and modern. The bar and external seating area is pleasant and bright. The breakfast was amazing!! The staff are very polite and english is fantastic. Overall a fantastic hotel. My only grumble, looking to book on hotels.com it stated a swimming pool, which was perfect. Unfortunately, only to find out at the hotel it was an extra. I didnt read the small print right at the bottom stating extra charge, i assumed it was free as it was under facilities. Now, paying £130.00 a night i would expect full use of the facilities, not the 25 EURO charge per hour to use a swimming pool. Everytime i popped my head up for the view, the pool was empty. Very frustrating but a lesson learnt for myself and anyone booking this hotel, EXTRA charge for the pool.

Beautiful new hotel. The problem is the technology in the room (for temperature, lights etc) is impossible to figure out. Also the bathroom with glass walls does not offer privacy making it difficult if sharing the room as cannot use the washroom without waking up your partner. The spa and pool apparently has beautiful views but only open to those that reserve in advance ...the best part of the hotel is therefore largely unused and unseen- it should be a cafe or a bar with access for all guests.

Ha sido una experiencia maravillosa. Nos ha encantado el hotel. El servicio, la limpieza, y la bañera de hidromasaje en la habitación es un lujo, porque además funciona de maravilla. Recomiendo llevarte unas sales. La limpieza de todo es excelente. El desayuno una maravilla y la estrella, el Spa, maravilloso. Eso sí, mejor reservar si lo tienes incluido en la habitación, es las horas menos utilizadas. Preguntar al reservarlo. Es precioso, pequeñito pero con unas vistas maravillosas. Repetiré sin duda.

The room was awesome! I particularly liked the bonus bath salts for the jacuzzi jet tub. The blinds made the room perfectly dark. I found the bed, sheets, and assortment of pillows to be sleeping perfection. The staff were kind and helpful. I was quite comfortable!

The area is very nice as it is close to the port and many restaurants. The hotel rooms are not practical - the bathtub is in the middle of the room and so are the sinks - makes using them a problem if you do not want to disturb your roommate - the area where they put the toilet and shower is very small and it is not a luxurious experience. No instructions on how to reach the front desk with room phone. Although I booked a room with twin beds they told me when I checked in that this required an upcharge. Overall not impressed.

Perfect place in the heart of Vigo. The SPA is really a big plus and the staff are top. The breakfast is a shame for a 5 star hotel. Cofeee from a machine, not real juice and the pastery was dry. If you go outside you will find better breakfast for half the price you will pay at the hotel.

This hotel was amazing. The staff was so helpful and gave restaurant recommendations that were delicious. The breakfast was fantastic and there was a nice area in front to have a drink and people watch. The bed was comfortable and the a/c was nice and cold. We used the spa as well and the massages and facials were great! Would highly recommend this!
