I got the single King bed suite with a balcony. Nice room and amenities. Clean throughout. Has a pool, hot tub, and a seating area outside. It was definitely worth the money for this price range. Recommend!

It's a cute and charming property. Our bed was sinking in the middle just enough to notice it. I wish the pool/spa was open until 10 p.m. I was awoken by the neighbor's rooster one morning, which was part of the charm, but I don't get up that early! All in all, it was very nice, and I was happy to be able to walk nearby and have a convenient location.

We stayed in a suite that included an OK futon/couch in the living room that folded out to still allow a narrow walkway through the room. The kitchen was almost full size, rather dated, but included a good amount of equipment of decent quality. The artwork in the rooms include original oils that are nicely framed, giving the space a luxurious touch. The pool is rather small and more appropriate for a quick dip or kids because it's too small for any lap swimming. It's a short drive to town, but you wouldn't walk there because the property is along a busy highway. We didn't experience any traffic noise, but a nearby rooster did sound the alarm in the morning. Overall, though the property could use a refresh, it was well managed, very clean and comfortable.

Staying at boutique hotels is always a treat for us, and our recent stay at the Blue Iguana Inn was delightful. The Spanish interior vibe of the hotel gave it such a unique and charming atmosphere. Our room felt like a luxurious resort setting, and we were completely blown away by the beautifully decorated pool area with lush rose plants. The jacuzzi was the icing on the cake - it was absolutely divine! It was a wonderfully restful getaway for us.

This was an incredibly delightful stay and we wish we had longer in our cozy bungalow. We can’t wait to come back. Friendly and easy check-in, wonderful and abundant coffee, beautiful accommodations and grounds. And the jacuzzi was wonderful.

Enjoyed our stay. Room very pleasant -had an arty feeling. Generous with the coffee and teas. WiFi and Air conditioning worked well and bed very comfortable. Found the TV over complicated to use. Pool area and hot tub very nice. Pool a little fresh. Easy free parking and a pleasant stroll to Starbucks along the Ojai Valley Trail (about 15 minutes). If you are enthusiastic you can walk or bike to Ojai on the trail in the other direction.

I really enjoyed the Blue Iguana Inn. The property is very quaint and relaxing. The staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the linens smelled clean. The only thing that would improve this property would be a heated pool. We did enjoy the hot tub.

Beautiful Spanish style casitas with manicured lush gardens. We stayed in room 12 and it was sparkling clean, I loved all the little details they provided like the goodies basket available for shopping, complementary tea and coffee, makeup towel, and cute leaf shape hand soaps. Even bathrobes were available!!! Soft bed and pillows let you have a wonderful sleep. We are definitely coming back for a longer stay!

The room smelled like mold, it was so bad we had to change room. The second room was better but we could still smell it. The pillows were ver olds, the bed was so soft I can nearly turn my neck

I have stayed at this property several times and really enjoy it - very clean and relaxing. The grounds on the property are just lovely and peaceful. It’s one of my favorite places to stay when I visit Ojai.

I chose Blue Iguana Inn due to my memories of it from when I travelled to Ojai as a kid in the 90s. For the price, it is a very large room with a kitchen area and nice bathroom. The spaciousness was especially valued since I was traveling with my dog. It would be a perfect spot for a couple planning on staying for several nights.

The Blue Iguana was a lovely, serene well-located retreat in Ojai. The room and outdoor areas were great. Our only dissatisfaction came from the lack of wifi and the extremely squishy bed. The bed had the softest topper on it, and I had the hardest time getting comfortable. This might be great for some people's preference, but my back was aching when I awoke. The sweet attendant at the front desk attempted to help with resetting the wifi, but we never were able to connect to the internet. It allowed for a welcome reprieve from use of electronics, but it would have been a big disappointment if I had to get work done.

We loved our stay here. The bed was really comfortable and the suite itself was so welcoming and cozy. You have the option to order a little breakfast basket. The kitchen will come fully equipped with dishes. And the pool area is smaller than I thought, but still so relaxing surrounded by the lush landscaping. We will definitely be staying her again for another weekend adventure away from the city.

It was raining hard when we got there, and I checked in the office to let them know that we had arrived early and would go to get something to eat until check in time. Common courtesy would be to let me know if a room is available early so that we might get dried off and check in since there wasn’t much else we could do in the rain. I just didn’t get a nice warm welcome, it would have been nice. Checking out was the same. Property itself was nice, not as nice as it’s sister hotel, but nice and clean.

We were going to stay here to help my elderly aunt move but then she had to go to hospital the day before our intended stay. We canceled reservation. Knowing it was a non refundable room my husband called explained situation and not only was the front desk rude to him they would not refund. I understand they have rules but no need to be rude about it. The room was not cheap and honestly way overpriced. It was recommended by someone but even when they recommended it prefaced it as being expensive for a not so great place but not many options. We will have to go back but not sure if we will book here. I’m thinking maybe that’s why she thought she could be rude cause it wouldn’t make a difference with their business????

When we arrived on Wednesday, the woman at the office was rude and abrupt about having to help us out with the lounge chairs at the pool. We were shocked at her behavior.

The staff was wonderful accommodating our needs. The rooms are quintessential Ojai, Saltillo tile floors, sante fe decor. Something to consider, the property is not walkable to downtown and we could not get Uber or Lyft you must drive everywhere.

Delightfully quaint inn! We had a 2 bedroom unit. We loaded the fridge with drinks & snacks which we enjoyed in the comfy living room. My bed was heavenly! Front desk helped us with restaurant recommendations. Didn't get a chance to use hot tub. The grounds are very nice. Definitely stay again!
