Chose it because it had a pool only to find that the pool was filled in with dirt and rock. Room was TINY, dirty, smelled awful, with crappy beds and pillows. 👎

They have remodeled all the rooms. They are excellent and pretty. Shirley C.

On Expedia there was good ratings but there was no microwave in the room the bathroom was extremely tiny the there was no breakfast just coffee there was a pool but no swimming it said an Expedia that there was a really nice pool beautiful picture of a pool but no swimming allowed staff on the other hand was very friendly and helpful.

My room was clean. It’s got everything that I need at the time. Parking is available and free.

The property was in the middle of being remodeled. However it will be really nice once completed. New mattresses, new paint, new tile just over all coming together very nicely.

By far, the most dingy run-down room and general property I have stayed at in many years. 1st they need to update their photos the pool in the picture is actually a concrete slab. I had to discard the used soap and wrapper from the previous guest which made me Leary of weather the shower got cleaned at all. The fixture on the sink was either broken or loose and water went all over the floor when you used it. The towels were gray stained and looked like they were used as floor mopping towels sheethad 2 burn holes and 1 inch tear. No microwave in the room. And the worst is they charged a $75 deposit like a 5 star hotel! The worst is the insulunt staff when I asked for another room they wanted me to pay double the $320 I paid already!! When I left I felt I needed to get to a shower to wash the filth off of me. I was shocked and appauled at the entire stay. It should be condemned in my opinion. And send the staff to hospitality training to learn how to speak to the paying customer and not be so rude and indigent.

Live ROACH on bathroom sink when lights turned on in AM. Was a non-smoking room BUT smelled smokey.

I have never written a scathing review in my life, but im about to….the rooms dont have microwaves, the room i stayed in has bedbugs bad. I tried to get them to move me rooms twice, instead they sent the maintenance guy with weed killer to “spray”. They did not take down or move any furniture to inspect, and refused to move me rooms both times. Finally, i gave up and just slept covered in lavendar oil sprays, didnt clear the problem but it did mitigate it. I met some good people here among the guests, so i decided to stay longer than usual, i travel perpetually so when i meet good friends, its an extra draw. But, in talking to the other guests, i found out that room rates differed wildly depending on who they talked to at the front desk. After a whole month of staying there, one of the younger guys that works the day shift, demanded that i have my id on me at all times for when i locked myself out of my room. Great idea right? Im traveling and my home state is far away and a lost id could derail my entire trip….luckily i had a spare expired one that i kept over my gas cap, problem solved… one other long term guest i talked to said he had the same experience, but both of the pretty young women who were long term guests in rooms near mine that i talked to said they had not heard of that once from the exact same guy, his wife should probably check on that…motel 6 is a no frills hotel, i get that, but this one is HORRIBLE due mostly in part to the people they put in charge of it

Terrible staff and the room had roaches and I ask for a refund and the staff member said it wasn’t possible that it was their policy even though I complained

The room was very dirty. When I stepped into the tub for a shower there were black footprints in the tub from the dirt on the floor. When I was checking in there was a customer at the desk complaining about his room being very dirty and bug invested. I should have cancelled my reservation and gone to another motel. I have stayed in many Motel 6's over the years and I have never seen one this dirty. I have been business and pleasure traveling for over 60 years so I know the difference between good and bad motels and this one is bad.

I couldn’t even stay at this property. I checked in which took 20 to 30 minutes and then went to my room just to find roaches in the bathroom. I moved the bed and there were roaches all behind the bed moving and dead. It was disgusting. The AC was off so it was very very warm in there. This place is disgusting. Do not stay here. I’ll be calling corporate tomorrow. Nasty!!

I expect one or two bugs but my room was absolutely infested they were crawling on the bed and I could not sleep. I went to the office and he could not move me to a different room but the manager would accommodate me in the morning. I killed bugs all night long they were everywhere there was no way I could sleep terrified they would get into my bags and I'd take them home

Dirty linens, holes in the walls, very loud ppl, staff didnt care. Walls had stains all over them. The hotels was so gross.

No microwave and your not allowed to cook

Very clean and modern remodel. Quality bedding and quiet. It was a pleasant surprise for a motel6 ! Staff was very friendly. The tv wasn’t getting reception but I want that Interested anyway. Did not check out wifi.

it had been a while since i had stayed at a Motel 6. I was very impressed with the updates the company has made. the room was very nice for a "budget hotel" The bed was the comfiest I had the pleasure of sleeping in of all the hotels I had used recently. The location is nice right off the interstate. Unfortunately loud, rude, and seemingly intoxicated guests in surrounding rooms made for a long night with little sleep. thumbs up for the property. thumbs down for it's clientele.

Tv did not work, bathroom very tight, smelled in room.

TV and fridge did not work upon arrival. After almost THREE hours a new room was allocated, a smoking room when a non-smoking room was nonnegotiable. Third room, smelled like cannabis, had burn holes in the blankets and tears in the box spring cover, and the TV didn’t work. But according to the front desk attendant she “couldn’t keep changing rooms.” Then give me what I booked. It’s a Motel 6, I wasn’t complaining that you didn’t have room service. NEVER, ever, ever, ever book a room here.

They lied about having wifi. It wasn't working. They said they had someone coming out to fix it that afternoon. It wasn't fixed in the evening. They then said they had someone coming the next day to fix it. After speaking to a manager it turns out they didn't have anyone coming out to fix the internet. They were planning on changing internet providers but lied about having working internet that was in the process of being fixed. THEY LIE.

Utterly disappointed and will never do motel 6 here again. Me and my Husband have had MANY complications. Our TV didn't work we told them and they had someone come the next day and still didn't work. Then they said they'll get a new TV in the next day and didn't happen. We've had to use our phones and the network wouldn't work and we'd ask multiple time and just given a paper with numbers on it. Another problem We've had is the breakfast. They say there's breakfast but there isn't. Then they say only coffee and when we went for coffee they said no coffee. Also our room had to be cleaned and we were getting everything together so me, my husband and our son could go on a walk and told them when we'll be back so they can clean the room and they had already left and said tomorrow they'll come and that she was saying something about our deposit. Like hell I better get my money back because there's nothing in here worth breaking nor taking. I will get my money back and NEVER stay here. The negative reviews are spot on.

The staff is always nice

I used to prefer Motel 6 as a brand, but this one put me off. We ended up finding other accomodations. When we arrived, the property did not seem to be very well-maintained, but we were tired and just wanted to put my grandson to bed and get some sleep ourselves. However, when we went to check in, there was a printed (think home computer/laser-jet) flyer on the counter that informed us that using a debit or credit card would cost us an additional $75! But if we wanted to pay cash, it would be the amount that Expedia quoted when I booked the room. The desk clerk told us that for all the motels in the area, this was common practice and that we would receive the deposit back in 7 - 10 business days. Um, no? When my stepmom managed one, Motel 6 was a reasonable, clean, comfortable, well-kept place to stay. Now, however, the standards appear to have dipped. At least at this property. If you don't mind a shoddy-looking motel, and have the additional $75 to spare, you're good to go at this location. Otherwise, I'd give it a hard pass.

Staff were very nice. Outside area had a lot of construction and appeared maybe a bit run down, but the room was really clean. It was quiet, no issues with people outside the room or loud neighbors. Nice to be able to park right in front of the room door. Fast check in and check out. Heads up, Expedia customers have to pay a $75 cash deposit, but at check out it was fast and got it right back.

Make sure you keep your receipt.. new lady at front don't wanna honor online prices. And she kept my deposit.. then lied and said i paid with card. Makes no sense!!!

Was told that check out was 12 noon and that I would be getting my $75 cash deposit back when I checked out. Today when I went to check out at 12 noon was told that check out was at 11 am and that I would not be getting $75 cash deposit back. That is not right that they changed the check out time to suit themselves.

Hotel is under renovation. I arrived late at night and was disturbed to see several men hanging out in the hallway talking loudly. When I told the man working the front desk he brushed off my concerns and fell back asleep. The climate contol unit in the room was broken, it was less than 60 degrees and when i turned the heater on the smoke alarm went off in my room. Only had one usable towel as the others were visibly dirty. I stay at budget motels fairly often and expect to get what I paid for, but this was so terrible I got out of there only a few hours after checking in.

The front desk associate is always rude and seems to be mad to do his job.

Centrally locked and easy access to the interstate

It was an amazing location. Its a very clean hotel, but cheap and in need of some repairs. Safe neighborhood close to restaurants and majo roads.

It's a decent inexpensive place to stay, fairly quiet considering the interstate and East Ridge main street. Wide choice of restaurants and shopping nearby. They have some rooms under renovation, that a good sign that they keep the property up. For as old as this building is it's in really good shape. No one bothers you which is very important to myself. The staff is fairly friendly some more than others but I'm sure they have had to deal with many different people and not all being considerate of the staff and other guess. My opinion, if you want a decent inexpensive place to stay for the night.. I like this one.

Clean and spacious room, 5 stars. Overall is still 5 stars despite the below issue. Staff and Service would have been 5 stars, but not enough coffee for everyone and we had to wait 15 minutes for it to be made. I would suggest the hotel to keep one backup coffee dispenser to alternate. Coffee is cheap, add $1 or $2 to room price should be sufficient. People would not feel the $2 room price difference, but would notice if coffee keeps running out.

The room was filthy! It hadn't been vacuumed. There was real in the floor. The TV didn't work properly. There was crud on the phone that looked liked feces. It was just nasty. No coffee. Motel 6, you can turn the light off on this ready hole.

The motel was comfortable and serene. The provided maid services and clean towels daily. My only complaint is no microwave downstairs and when I brought me one in, they made me remove it from my room. There is one available in the lobby until 10pm though.
