Checkin was at 3:00, we didn’t get a room until 4:20. Elevator was very dirty. Room was mostly clean. Bathtub needs replacing.

It was alright. There was a dirty pair of socks under the chair from the last person that stayed in the room. Cigarette burn holes in the comforter and a yellow stain. At check out, I brought the burn holes to the front desk attention and she stated that she new about the burn holes when she make the bed previously. Someone a few doors down had a dog and when they would leave - dog would bark continuously. Hot tub was not very hot at all.

Bad storms in Texas, no power at the house. Needed a good place to stay with the kiddos! Room was in great shape! Easy check in, easy check out. Comfortable beds! The pool is great!

It was fine. The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Elevator was broken but under repair during my stay, but tgey accommodated us on the first floor, as i cannot climb stairs due to my knees. Overall a good experience.

The building seemed to be undergoing maintenance which is fine, but the hundreds of birds thar lived on the outside wall made a dicey walk back to the car to say the least. However the room was clean and the staff was great so I'd stay again

The hotel is under renovation - the room was good, quiet the internet excellent. Parking perfect. Good location in GBC. Movie theatre in walking distance. All the common areas (looby, ailes, elevators) are currently a little filthy, but in the process of getting better as part of the renovation, I assume and hope. Although there was not much change since my last stay in May,

We stayed here for a night on our way to Lubbock for family Christmas. We did check in later than normal but had no issues. It wasn’t until we got to the elevator to go to our 2nd floor room that we saw a note taped to the elevator stating that it was out of service and to use the stairs. This was NOT told to us when we checked in. As my wife is disabled and not able to manage stairs we were highly upset. The front desk agent did manage to get us a 1st floor room and it was a “suite” as that’s all they had available. Room was decent and it did the job of a place to sleep for the night. Probably won’t stay here again.

Nothing is taken care of…. The outside is dirty and unappealing, the walls on the inside are all chipped. Our room didn’t have any table, the chair that was in the room was filthy, the dresser had a small tv on it but if you laid in bed it was so short you could barely see the tv. The towels were so thin and small I thought they were hand towels, I’ve seen better towels in a high school locker room. The breakfast was pathetic, waffle batter (a dirty waffle maker) pieces of wrapped bread, milk and some cereal. The pool was not kept up, my husband cleaned the filters so that the bugs got sucked out. The only thing that was half way decent was the sheets were clean and we probably would’ve slept ok if there weren’t people slamming doors and screaming down the halls at all hours of the night. I would’ve cancelled my reservation and gotten a different hotel if I had to stay there longer than I did. Thankfully it was only for a couple of nights. I would never stay here again, this place needs a lot of work.

The room was nice, quiet, clean and everything worked well, even the wifi. The overall condition of the building is average, at best.

First of all, we called ahead and were told that the property was newly renovated so when we arrived we were sorely disappointed and upset. The room smelled like mildew and mold very badly. We had relatives that stayed in the room next to us so we compared rooms. The only upside to their room was that it didn’t smell. In both rooms, the furniture was falling apart. There was mold in the shower all over the bottom of the curtain. There was a huge stain on the bed cover. By the window on the top, there was very visible mold and the paint was peeling off. There was rust all over the toilet paper holder and on the bottom of the shower floor. There was tile missing in the bathroom behind the door. Where the medicine cabinet is in the bathroom, there was open pipes as you opened the door. The room was really dirty as well. The staff was hardly ever around when you needed something. We saw a lady wait for 20 minutes for help also in the lobby. The fridge in our room was off when we arrived so we had to put our milk, etc, in our cooler overnight in the office fridge. If we could rate this hotel at a 0, we would. Easily the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at and that says a lot since we’ve stayed in a good amount over the years. The hotel staff, I’m assuming, had 2 chairs right outside the sliding doors from the lobby for people to sit and smoke. The smoke odor came into the lobby. It smelled awful and we have a toddler and a 3 month old baby, which is not okay for them to be breathing

Sheets and towels were a bit dirty

Our oldest had a baseball tournament in the area and this hotel was only about 15 minutes from where we were playing. Online the pictures looked clean and a decent stay. We pulled in the parking lot and immediately noticed that the pictures must have been taken years ago. The hotel inside was unclean, stained carpet, an odor that you could not escape. We saw roaches and a huge rat (as we were walking out) while we were there. Would not recommend staying here until they do some major renovations!!

It’s an older motel but very nice and clean. Staff was great. Had a nice breakfast and rooms were nice and clean. Would stay there again.

The mattresses had mold on them... the floors were damp and sticky smells of cigarette smoke. Cheap price you get what you pay for

The room had bed bugs , I have bites all over me . See pictures below . The staff I did talk too was friendly . But I was never able to speak to the manager he never came to talk to me like he was supposed too and I still haven’t heard from him . I’ve requested a refund and can’t get any help . Hotels.com did try to call them 3 times with zero luck ! The pictures don’t even show all the bites I have on me . Other than the bug issue the hotel needs updating for sure the furniture is pretty only in the rooms

Place was a dump. Shower was disgusting. Didn’t have towels for 2 days. Definitely would not recommend this hotel.

The building itself was in a very sketchy, dimly lit part of town. The room appeared dirty and unkempt. Paint was chipping off the walls. There was not even a coffee maker in the bedroom! Not to mention the beds were hard, super thin sheets and non-existent pillows. Even when folded over the pillows were way less than adequate.

Beding was poor condition and chair need be recovered. No bulbs in light fixture next bed.

We came for the eclipse and it was a great location and reasonably priced. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in need of some updating, and breakfast was bare bones. Overall it met our needs but I wouldn’t stay for another reason.

The room was in very poor condition even though it was a suite. A lamp shade was missing in the bedroom, the TV didn't work and the remote was missing the back cover which had tape over the batteries. I was never able to find out how to turn on the lights in the bedroom, but there was an exposed electrical box near the headboard so maybe that was for the best.

My A/C didn't work at all

The room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable and A/C was excellent. Only ding was that the housekeeper did not replace the used coffee pack.

Hotel room was even better than pictures showed. We had a jetted tub, king bed, and sofa bed. The bedroom was separate from the living room so that was even better. Not to mention the nice balcony with a view of the water. Lots of food and entertainment very close to the hotel made for a great anniversary weekend. Free breakfast available. Free Parking. Pet Friendly. We will definitely go again.

The room wasn't ready at the stated check in time, but the people at the front desk mentioned they had late check outs and were short staffed due to housekeeping staff calling in, we were able to check in maybe 30 mins late, which wasnt a huge deal. The room (a balcony suite, 3rd floor) was very big and clean. The balcony was nice, it was perfect for smokers, since you can't smoke in the room. The room is a little dated but was clean and comfortable. Overall it was a good place, quiet, plenty of space and comfortable. Staff was nice. Would recommend upgrading to the balcony suite.

The furniture is work out aside from the bed. The dresser is missing a large chunk out of the veneer on the bottom corner. The additional green chair has had its better days and it is time to throw it out. The plug in on the dresk.. 2 work but one shocked me. The tub needs resurfaced. The bathroom counter is falling off the wall. Theres about an inch gap from the back splash piece to the counter top. The bathroom door wont shut because of the fallen counter. We did not use the Tv, coffee maker, or refrigerator to give our opinions of those. But the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner works very good.

The worst stay EVER! Room smelled of animals. Cat had clawed armchair. Dogs had chewed base of dressers and door frame to balcony. Two of dresser drawers were broken (large holes in bottom) making them unusable. Table was unstable. Curtain rod on door to balcony was bent. Bathtub had large porcelain chips missing. There was no tub mat. Base of one of the beds was broken. In need of major updating.

Lucky was so helpful all throughout our stay!!! We can’t wait to go back!!!

The staff was wonderful & the bed was very comfortable. The building is an old building so there was normal wear & tear but it was clean & they were obviously working on improving appearance. The air conditioning was amazing!

They overbooked themselves on Memorial Day weekend. Ended up not having a place to stay the night of my sister in laws wedding. The front desk lady was really rude and brash too when she called. Luckily Expedia made it right. I don’t recommend this place.

It was good until I got wake up from a meow cat at 230 in the morning I called front desk he was very rude and lazy cuz he didn't come up their on the 3rd floor

Toilet wasn’t working properly the whole stay. We were given 2 towels for 4 people (double queen) and asked for extra towels. Front desk was rude and didn’t want to give more towels unless we brought dirty towels to them. We were told they were behind on laundry and after going to desk a few times was only given a few pool towels because that’s all they had. The hotel also had a very strong scent almost as if they were trying to cover up other smells. Would not recommend

I was there for 8 days. I checked in on a Friday and was going to stay through the following thursday. I ended up checking out Sunday to go back home for one night and then I returned the next day. They did not officially check me out of the room nor did they clean the room when I returned to the same room the bed was still in made the only thing they did was put in new towels. The entire course of the state they never serviced the room other than empty the trash. Eight days with the same linen is unacceptable. The elevator made loud popping sounds every time you got in it. When I trade there for that one day the person working had no clue how to do the check out and process the refund for the days that I wasn't going to be there just in case I didn't return so she basically wrote a note on a piece of paper for me to bring back with me when I can. When I did return and finally did check out the end of this day getting that credit applied was a nightmare. Again the person working had no idea what to do and she literally had to wait 15 minutes for the manager to arrive to take care of it. This hotel is very poorly run.

I had to wait over 5 minutes to be acknowledged when I checked in. I got to my room all seemed fine. About an hour later I returned to my room and found bugs. They were crawling on the cieling. This morning I found more bugs in the bathroom. Not sure if there were earwigs, water bugs or maybe cockroaches. I was afraid to eat breakfast in the morning but I went down to see what was offered. Cold cereal and waffles but no waffle mix to make the waffle, yogurt. At checkout I brought the conditions of the room to the front desk attention. She said of bugs sorry. I could have stayed elsewhere for a lot less. If I had had my own mode of transportation I would have left and gone else where.

When i arrived a power outage had just occurred. The fron desk person was very apologetic that it may be a bit before checkin could occur. Just then the power came back on and i was checked in as soon as the computer booted up.

There was a cold draft from a door that went to a balcony, elevator did not work for a few days, did not provide breakfast during the week. It was convenient to where we were visiting.

Location is Great. Staff was friendly and efficient. But, there was too much construction and the building is in very bad condition. The birds nesting on the building poop all over cars and pool area. Booked room for two and only got coffee and towels etc. for one. got handicap room located in the center of the building, making it too difficult to get down for breakfast.

It is convent. and allow pets.

this is an economical stay. Bedsheets are clean and bed was comfortable. That's all I needed. I noticed quite a few dogs so it is very dog friendly. we stayed overnight. Somethings show wear and tear at the hotel but overall the price is right for just using the bed and the shower. coffee is terrible and breakfast is continental. we would stay again next time I need to pass through.

The receptionists was so awesome and nice! The place was definatley run down and dirty. Rooms, furniture, bathroom, floor everything was worn out and nasty. It doesnt take much to impress me but this definatley didnt. The guest were ...how can i say a little sketchy. However on the plus side, they serve a free hot breakfast, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, muffins, etc...and i will mention they are under renovating so id probably give it another shot when they're done!
