As Lord of the Ring fans, we were excited to start our trip to Sweden in this unique “cave” or “hobbit hole”. We were very disappointed. First, when we booked the room it said towels were not included. A few days after our opportunity to cancel without penalty, they sent an updated policy to state they would not include linens or towels. Then when we arrived a few minutes before check in should have begun, the man was closing up for the day! If we had not been early, we would have not known how to check in. The room was dirty. We had to clean it to be able to use it as it was infested with spiders. On top of all of that, the man told us we had to pay for mini golf immediately since he was closing up. We did pay, but later found the golf clubs and balls were left out for free for everyone else. On top of all of this, if you choose to use the TV, you must chrome cast it from your own device. There were a lot of “rules” and expectations yet the place did not live up to the ones they expected from their guests.
