Ibis Bangkok Riverside

Far from everything. Breakfast cold. Mosquitos and birds dominating the garden area. Small shower and no airport transfer.

Clean basic rooms, staff were always helpful, the pool facilities are excellent, breakfast was lovely and set on the riverside with great view's. Short walking distance to Icon Siam mall, which has a wide selection of food and shopping and also right in front of the river transport terminal.

The hotel is in a lovely location. The outdoor area for eating needs some thought as the small birds land on tables and food. Maybe offer food cloches to cover food left on table when going back to indoor buffet. Staff need to be more alert and take action swiftly. They need to clean and disinfect chairs daily. Even though it is a repetitive task. The pool needs a good clean. I noticed dirt all round the inside edge and staff make the effort to keep water clean. Would be good for pool to be also. All staff have been helpful and friendly. Rooms clean and housekeeping attentitive. But thought needs to be put into how to keep birds off tables as they spread germs and poo on chairs. Buffet had s good mix of food. Especially thai dishes which were lovely at breakfast.
