Bear in mind that anything I say has to be tempered with the fact I don't usually book hostels, so this, given Barcelona's prices, was unusual. In other words, Barcelona is jammed with tourists, prices for everything, including rooms, are high, and this was my way of keeping expenses under control, part of a lengthier trip. The price, which included a superb buffet breakfast, with endless coffee, fresh fruit and pastries, cold cuts, and cereals, was right, In terms of amenities, the hostel is well equipped, the dorm room was clean, bright and roomy, with a shared bathroom for 6, and each bed had its own lockable storage space, reading light, and charging port. There's a a superb terrace out back, where often I'd chill later in the afternoon. I appreciated the easy to use and reasonably priced washing machine/dryer. Housekeeping and staff were fine, though I had minimal interaction with either. Dorms of course are memorable for the people you meet, and I'll certainly remember the handful of people I got to know during my five days there.

Loved this place, an antique gem of Barcelona but updated nicely. Beautiful terrace, cool library and living room area, restaurant was supurb. Breakfast was so-so. Staff very nice and patient. And Pg. Gracia is a great location with more locals than tourists, safe and easy, but still not far from all the thing you need to see.

Casa Gracia is ran like a 4 star hotel that's actually a high end hostel with the best attributes of both. A Metro stop is practically across the wide streets from the Casa which is a beautifully.ornate formal private estate home. La Casa has Nice working bathrooms , creative storage within the stairs to the upper bunks, a full kitchen, community refrigerators and lovely interior and outdoor common spaces for work, meeting friends or just relaxing. Front desk staff are so helpful and amicable. And then the neighborhood couldn't be better. I've stayed in different parts and places in Central Barcelona and I found this place and neighborhood to be just about the best in proximity to good restaurants, shopping, local cafes, convenience stores, bars, and interesting sites. Will return !

We stayed in a family room with 6 beds. It was a beautiful room that was spotlessly clean. Plenty of hot water, toiletries provided. Perfect location. We had the breakfast at an additional cost of €12 per adult and €6 per child. This felt like good value. The communal kitchen was well equipped and clean. Would stay again.

This is a very beautiful and very well located hostel! They cleaned the rooms daily, and the front desk workers especially Yvonne were nice and helpful. The only downside is that the bathroom could be a bit cleaner as there was visibly mold, but regardless a good stay and good price! Thank you Casa Gràcia.

Pros: LOCATION, staff Cons: NO WIFI in the room throughout the entire stay (connected for 3 seconds, basically no wifi in the room. It works in the reception area). Gute Anbindung an Bus, Bahn - sehr nettes Personal - schönes Gebäude (Altbau) - hatte ein Einzelzimmer mit eigenem Bad - hier war alles sehr sauber, Zimmergrösse ausreichend Negativ: - Zimmer und Bad sahen auf den Fotos größer aus… dem ist nicht so - Bad ist sehr klein - Personal war im Zimmer … es wurde das Bett gemacht und unten liegende Handtücher ersetzt , soweit gut, jedoch wurde nicht gewischt oder gestaubsaugt, dass könnte man hier verbessern

Was perfect for what we needed. It’s an old building so it echoes and is a bit noisy. But overall was a good value for location. If you absolutely need A/C double check when they turn it on and off for the season. That was the only issue we had was very hot at night.

My first time staying in a hostel (we stayed in a private double room) and I was so surprised and impressed! This was nicer than many generic and dated hotels I've stayed in. The facility has a very stylish interior. It was also very quiet with only one night where a loud couple came ambling down the hallway and stomping around in the room next to us. Our room was nearly perfect; the AC wasn't very effective but it was late December and we managed. The location is in the centre of the action on Passeig de Gracia and a close walk to shopping, endless food options, and Gaudi's masterpieces.

PROS - create spacious room for a solo traveller, double bed was huge and so comfy, air con was great and temperature was always perfect, Gracia is a lovely quarter of Barcelona and recommend staying here, really close to metro line as well for travel, perfect location! CONS - the hotel staff were okay, they did what they needed to do but I didn’t find them overly friendly, the room is very basic, bed and a skinny wardrobe with only shelves, no hanging space

The air conditioning wasn’t working in 2 of our rooms, the front office said they didn’t have anyone to fix it and we ask that someone needs to fix it someone came up and said they couldn’t fix it, it was really hot in Barcelona and they didn’t do anything to acomódate us, they said we would get a partial refund or compensation but I’m still Waiting for It

The staff at this hostel are abusive and horrendous. From the moment I checked in I was met with terribly rude and unhelpful men. I tried to extend my stay as my flight was delayed and there were many rooms available online and they threw all of my bags and all of my belongings outside of the room and made me feel VERY unsafe as a solo female traveller. Stay away

Location-it is located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood near lots of high ened shops and close to Casa Batlló. The apartment was good for what we needed to use it for. A base to retire to after sightseeing. Despite their being manay large groups using the hostel/hotel adjacent to the apartments we never heard any noises. It is close to many restaurants. We had great meals at 3 local places. There are many coffee shops close by too. Cleanliness- It was clean, the bathroom was modern although the shower basin could fill quickly with water. Comfort - the bed was comfortable but the apartment only had enough plates/bowls for 3. We were a party of 4. This was slightly annoying. Check-in - it was slow and at 3pm, when check-in opens it may have made sense to have had more than 1 person checking everyone in. (Hostel, hotel and aparthotel all check-in at the same desk)

Ich habe in einem 4er Zimmer übernachtet. Das Hostel ist ziemlich gross und hat einen schönen Aufenthaltsraum sowie eine gemütliche Terrasse. Das Bett war bequem, man muss sich aber auf wenig Privatsphäre einstellen, da es beispielsweise keine Vorhänge am Bett gibt. Es wurde täglich gereinigt und neue Bettwäsche zur Verfügung gestellt. Zwei Sachen haben mir weniger gut gefallen. Einerseits habe ich das inkludierte Frühstück nicht gemocht. Meines erachtens war das Essen nicht lecker und ich durfte am Tag der Abreise nichts To-Go mitnehmen. Andererseits fand ich die Preise für die Waschmaschine (5€) sowie den Trockner (4€) etwas hoch. Ansonsten war alles wunderbar und die Lage des Hostels ist super zentral.

Booked the six bed room with one bathroom. It was a comfy and fun experience. The only downside was sharing one bathroom among six people, naturally. This was definitely the most beautiful hostel I've stayed at. It has unique and memorable interior design and whoever designed it deserves a raise. You feel like you're in someone's fun, campy, tasteful mansion. The dining room and outdoor seating area for breakfast was the most wonderful place. The breakfast selection was very good. I would love to have breakfast outside there every day this summer if I could.

Excellent séjour passé entre amies dans cette Auberge de jeunesse en chambre privée. Chambre lumineuse, calme et literie confortable. Situation géographique de l'établissement excellente: à proximité des commerces, grands centres d'intérêt, restos, boîtes de nuit... Le bar de l'hôtel et les espaces communs sont très sympas, la cuisine y est bonne. Seul bémol... un verre de bienvenue offert mais utilisable que sur certains horaires. Nous avions oublié de le demander, nous avons donc demandé un café le matin de notre départ, une fois ce café "de bienvenue offert" nous avons été obligés de payer la consommation !! Incompréhension, ou malhonnêteté du serveur.. Dans l'ensemble nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette chambre calme.
