Great hotel, friendly staff and a perfect location for getting around Barcelona. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the on-site bar was great for a quick drink, snack or an evening meal. The breakfast was also wonderful and well worth adding on to your stay here. Will definitely be back again in October when we return to Barcelona

O hotel é bem localizado, próximo a vários restaurantes, praia e metrô. Dispõe de estacionamento próprio e pago. O quarto não tem frigobar, mas o hotel possui várias vending machines. O ponto negativo foi que não tinha cobertor no quarto, pedimos na recepção e o que foi entregue estava com muito mal cheiro.

The hotel it seems is going some renovation, breakfast is not available in the hotel currently. Otherwise rooms are nice, clean and comfortable, but quite small. But still big enough for one traveler. Location of the hotel is convenient to go anywhere either with bus, metro or even walking. Beach is couple of minutes walk away and also dinning options are plenty nearby.

Misleading information, it said wifi included in the description but when we arrived we were informed that wifi was available for an extra charge. The AC wasn’t working in our room and had to spend almost one afternoon waiting and watching the technician repair the AC. Hotel looked very old and not very pleasing. Front desk staff weren’t very helpful and not very nice. Only got some helpful info from the cafe/bar attendant Rosa. Location is convenient but really that’s the only good thing about this hotel.

We normally stay more central but due to high prices for the two nights ended up in the Travelodge in Poblenou. Good points only a couple of blocks from Llacuna metro station, nice places to eat on Rambla del Poblenou, hotel is clean and modern, breakfast is good but you have to go up several times as they keep running out of things, impossible to get everything at once. Rooms are modern with a desk and TV, mattress is not the most comfortable and only a socket at one side of the bed but it was quiet even with the construction going on outside. Bathroom was clean and fresh but shower head is fixed to the wall which is not the best when you are bigger, much prefer a shower on a hose. Free Wi-Fi, but only in the public areas, if you want it in your room - you have to pay!

Senga var ikke god for to stk å sove i. Hvis man snudde seg i søvne, forplantet bevegelsene seg i hele madrassen. Det var som en udempet vannseng. Sluken i dusjen var tett, slik at vann rant utover gulvet. Jeg måtte si fra to ganger/dager før det ble fikset. Ellers måtte vi sikkert få aktivert nøkkelkortene til rommet 20 ganger under oppholdet. Enkel, men grei frokost. Litt lite utvalg, så ble lei etter en uke. Vennlige og hjelpsomme ansatte. Bra renhold på rommet. Alt i alt syns vi ikke det var verdt prisen, selv om vi tar i betrakning at min valuta er veldig svak.

Die Lage von dem Hotel ist sehr gut, nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß zur Metro und 11 Minuten zum Strand. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind in der unmittelbarer Nähe. Parkplätze gibt es in der Tiefgarage kosten allerdings 15 € pro Tag extra. Kostenloses WLAN gibt es nur in der Lobby und da läuft 24 h am Tag nervige laute Fahrstuhlmusik. Man muß also pro Tag WLAN dazu buchen und das ist dann auch noch so langsam, dass man kaum ein Ticket online buchen kann. Die Sauberkeit in dem Zimmer war miserabel, dreckige Matratze, Vorhänge und mehrere Kakerlaken im Zimmer. Mülleimer wurden nicht geleert. Die Klimaanlage hat sehr gut und leise funktioniert.

Room was ok but there is no safe and no fridge. The A/C was insufficient and we had to resort to opening the window to get a breeze. This was Oct 1st so I can’t imagine in the summer months. The room itself was old but decently clean however the hallways were old and dirty and there was a strong odor of mold. The coffee and service at the bar in the lobby were very good. For the price, it’s ok for a few days and if you’re not going to be spending much time in the room. Otherwise, do not recommend.

Hotel was well maintained. The place was kept very clean. They were able to cater to a request to have an extra guest over for one of our nights (for a fee of course). Reception responded quickly to our requests. We were very pleased with the hotel. It is located one block away from a main road with lots of restaurants.

we booked a weekend trip to Barcelona on this hotel based on pictures and reviews, and let me tell you it was awful, not only the bathroom was dated but full of mold. We complained, and they told us they were going to have a thorough cleanup (IS THIS NOT A STANDARD PRACTICE FOR A HOTEL ROOM?), which never happened as tiles, tub and cracks were black from beginning to end of trip. Also, not even hand soap, bring your own or take from the shower gel sitting on the disgusting shower wall. After one day out we tried to use the lobby's bathroom downstairs and it was so disgusting I don’t have words to describe, worse than a public bathroom! PLEASE save your money or go to this place knowing how filthy dirty it is.

The hotel is very old, the smell is really bad (humidity everywhere), this includes the halls, the beds, and mostly everything, is not really pleasant to stay, it's too pricey to what they offer. The check-in was just OK. Additionally, the air conditioner does not work properly, so, we had very poor sleeping experience. Sorry, I can't recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent, bed comfortable, staff was wonderful and only a 10 minute cab ride to the gothic quarter. 10 minute walk to the beach. The hotel is very clean and quiet. We would happily stay there again.

Taxi rank across from hotel. Approximately a 40 minute walk to Sagrada Familia. Breakfast had plenty of choices taken in a nice dinning area, Evening food choices limited but very good & very reasonably priced. Close to a large selection of shops & restaurants on Rambla Poblenou. Area felt very save. Beach a nice 30 minutes walk. Using the Metro is easy for getting around the city. Taxi to airport around 40€. Would stay again & recommend.

We thought saving a bit on the hotel would be smart. We would only come to our room to sleep and be out as soon as possible as we woke up. Spending more time outside enjoying beautiful Barcelona. But we underestimated just how bad a room in a hotel can be. I can compare it to a cabin in a 1980s cruise ship. Tiny, dark, pale flickering fluorescent light, a weak lukewarm spray of the shower makes the stained shower curtain stick to your body. Dismal. The room did not have a wardrobe instead there was a rod mounted to the wall with a few of those anti-theft hangers dangling from it. No safe, no place to put our luggage, to teapot. Just a bed, a plastic chair and a small table. And what made us cut our losses and leave after just one night (instead of the four we paid for) was the bed. I'm not even going to describe the damp bed-on-wheels situation but the mattress the pillows and the duvet are just not suitable for human use. Neither one of us could sleep for more than 20 minutes without waking up due to how uncomfortable the bed was or because of the loud banging of the doors and stomping in the rooms around us. Yes, this place is cheaper than some other hotels but for what you're getting it is a rip-off. Avoid!

Arrived and we were told our booking had been cancelled by Expedia. Luckily they had a room spare to give us. Aircon was turned off and staff said was staying off, so the room was too hot at night. Loud building works going on behind hotel - loud noise started every morning at 7.30am.

This is the second time with no air conditioining.Room temp 23'C.Why is it switched off in "winter" 23C is uncomfortably warm and with building work all around the hotel you can't even open a window,which only opens a crack anyway in case anyone despairs of the too warm room and throws themselves out of the 5th floor.Considering you really only use a hotel room at night to have to spend that btime in discomfort is pretty miserable.You may call it eco-friendly,I call it cheap and nasty.

We liked the proximity to the metro, restaurants, laundry and beach. The room was very small. There wasn’t any furniture to put our suitcases on or dressers to put clothing into. There was no closet. We had to ask for a hot pot and hair dryer. The shower drained very slowly. We had no view. Our window looked out to construction. Overall it was Very basic compared to the cost.

Aircon was broken, spoke to them multiple times and they kept saying it would get fixed which it didn’t. Booked through Expedia and had them try call the hotel multiple times which there was no answer even though always 2-4 people working the front desk at all times. Terrible customer service wouldn’t recommend staying there for the price they are asking.

Considering the location which is just a short walk to the beach down a very nice pedestrian road and plenty of shops and restaurants I found this hotel to be adequate and fair priced. The service was exceptional and detailed. My only disappointment based on my preference was the temperature of the room.

Way over priced for what you get however it is in Barcelona so you pay the city price. Don’t pay for the breakfast go to the local cafes as the cooked food is not great. Nice walk down to the beach

Wir hatten ein Dreibett-Zimmer und waren mit der Ausstattung sehr zufrieden. Das Zimmer war groß, ruhig, sauber und modern eingerichtet. Auch das Badezimmer war ausreichend und die Dusche geräumig. Steckdosen waren genug für 3 Personen vorhanden. Das Frühstücksbuffet war vollkommen ausreichend und die angebotenen Speisen lecker. Es gab genügend Plätze im Frühstücksraum. In ungefähr 5 Gehminuten ist die nächste Metro erreichbar, Bus und Taxis fahren direkt vor dem Hotel.
