Jag hade en balkong med fantastisk utsikt mot floden. Hotellets takterrass var också mycket bra, men svårt att få en plats högst upp på kvällen om man inte är ute i god tid. Rummet var bra i övrigt, cool stor TV som jag dock inte använde. Bra frukost på takserveringen. En del sevärdheter i närheten, bland annat ett tempel med en guldbudda och mycket gatukonst. Hade lite problem att hitta till hotellet på kvällen då de små sidogatorna var som en labyrint.

Hotel zelf is moeilijk bereikbaar voor taxi's, we moesten het laatste stuk te voet met onze koffer. Hotel is prachtig gelegen, onze exclusive kamer erg basic, maar het uitzicht vanaf ons balkon op het water maakte veel goed. De rooftop bar met het geweldige uitzicht s avonds op de rivier is een aanrader. Hier wordt s ochtends ook het ontbijt geserveerd.

The hotel is a real gem in the area with lots of small dealers who mainly sell used metal parts from cars. The hotel itself is highly recommended. It takes a bit of getting used to that you can't drive right up there. You have to walk the last 100 to 200 meters. It's a bit awkward with large luggage. The rating of the area is a compromise: if you're looking for a luxury vacation, this is the wrong place (1 star). If you want to experience how many people really live in Bangkok, this is the right place (5 stars). From the 5th floor you have a good view of the river. There is a restaurant on the 8th floor (which I unfortunately couldn't visit).

Absolytely not if driving SUV. No safe parking for car either. Grazy narrow and occupied streets around. Backpackers may find this location and hotel OK but as family with car better to skip this place. Gave up and turned around before damaging our car and did not even saw hotel.

Een geweldig uitzicht plek vanuit het hotel over de rivier. Het hotel ligt in het laatste stukje van Chinatown. De kamer is redelijk netjes, badkamer kan beter. Balkon is heerlijk en de airco werkt fantastisch! Het dakterras heeft een fantastisch uitzicht op de rivier. De drankjes zijn er alleen schrikbarend duur (geworden). Ter vergelijking: je eet in de stad voor 80 bath (nog geen 3 euro) een warme maaltijd. Een wijntje op het terras daar kost 9 euro. Terwijl de kamer 18 euro per nacht kost. Vreemde verhoudingen. We vonden het buurtje bijzonder. Je moet niet schrikken van oude spullen en een beetje armoede.

Quite nice little hotel in chinatown. Small narrow alleys (Soi) made it difficult to find at first. The room was ok with a nice view over the river (Chao Phraya) from the balcony. Its an old building with som charming old details in the room. We liked it here an will probably come back.

Een geweldig uitzicht plek vanuit het hotel over de rivier. Het hotel ligt in het laatste stukje van Chinatown. De kamer is redelijk netjes, badkamer kan beter. Balkon is heerlijk en de airco werkt fantastisch! Het dakterras heeft een fantastisch uitzicht op de rivier. De drankjes zijn er alleen schrikbarend duur (geworden). Ter vergelijking: je eet in de stad voor 80 bath (nog geen 3 euro) een warme maaltijd. Een wijntje op het terras daar kost 9 euro. Terwijl de kamer 18 euro per nacht kost. Vreemde verhoudingen. We vonden het buurtje bijzonder. Je moet niet schrikken van oude spullen en een beetje armoede.

Hotel zelf is moeilijk bereikbaar voor taxi's, we moesten het laatste stuk te voet met onze koffer. Hotel is prachtig gelegen, onze exclusive kamer erg basic, maar het uitzicht vanaf ons balkon op het water maakte veel goed. De rooftop bar met het geweldige uitzicht s avonds op de rivier is een aanrader. Hier wordt s ochtends ook het ontbijt geserveerd.
