I highly recommend Penelope Village. It is close to a beautiful beach within walking distance. The staff was attentive and helpful. The location of the hotel is on the opposite side of the island which I knew prior to making a reservation. I decided to rent a car they helped through every step of the way. I loved my experience in Mykonos but the staff was one of the highlights. Another note before I go, my daughter is a certified pool lover and she really liked the pool.

Wonderful staff that very friendly, however the hotel itself is not too clean. One room had a lot of mold in the shower and it was apparent visually and smell wise. I was told that due to the humidity and winds, all rooms will have some mold. I ended up getting another room without signs of mold but the shower was in need of a renovation and wasn’t too clean. The pool is nice but the seats around are yellowed and stained, not sure how the hotel is actually considered 4 stars, I stayed in 1 &2 star hotels/motels that were much cleaner.. Also, food at the hotel restaurant isn’t too tasty and very expensive. Towels were cheap and thin, not soft. Overall, the place has great photos and is very picturesque in real life but not actually high quality or worth it at all imo.. Side note- The beach nearby is a few minutes walk and is super nice.

Hôtel très bien pour se retirer de la foule de Mykonos. Personnel très professionnel que ce soit la réception ou les serveurs. La partie collective de l’hôtel est magnifique (piscine, réception, …), par contres au niveau des chambres plusieurs détail à revoir comme les douches ou les lits. Je recommande quand même cet hotel

Mauvaise odeur dans les chambres. Le drain de la douche ne s’écoulait pas donc accumulation d’eau dans la salle de bain. Manque d’assiettes et de tasses au petit dejeuner. Nourriture très ordinaire pour le prix payé. Jamais de serviettes pour la piscine. Il faut arriver les premiers pour en avoir. Pas le droit non plus d’apporter un café acheté à l’extérieur au tour de la piscine. Il faut le consommer à la chambre. Le leur, n’était pas bon. L’eau de la piscine n’était pas claire. Bref, ça ne vaut vraiment pas le prix payé. Pour avoir d’autres places avant, vous pouvez trouver mieux.

La struttura in se per se è carina. Però la prima camera che ci è stata data era orribile. Poi fortuna hanno cambiato su nostra incessante richiesta con una un po’ meno orribile. Le camere sono umidissime. La biancheria del letto e inadeguata. O piumone nel letto o solo semplice lenzuolo. Abbiamo notato che le camere date ai tour operator sono di gran lunga migliori. Inoltre il prezzo del bar e del ristorante sono veramente eccessivi. Es. una birra a Chora € 3,50. Una birra al penelope € 8,00. Infine la spiaggia vicinissima all’hotel è molto bella. Sabbia fine è bianca.

Hotel was nice, rooms were clean and big. We were given a room with a hot tub even though we didn’t book this so we were happy. The hotel is only a few minutes walk to the beach but far from Mykonos centre. Taxi was €60 and the closest bus stop was a 25 minute walk (up a steep hill) Wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy the centre of Mykonos unless you hire a car.

We got a room with the worst possible bathroom I have ever seen, the toilet and shower were together with no partitions and will flood the whole bathroom, pictures are misleading in addition they put us next to the service room and every day since 6am all the cleaning crew will be too loud and would wake us up, it felt we had zero privacy. I asked for a change and they told me next day would be possible and the next day they made up another excuse not to change us. My wife and I had a terrible experience. In addition the hotel help us to get transport and in the end they charged us much more than the regular already expensive transport in Mykonos. Some of the staff were friendly but the dissapointment was the worst I have seen for such a pricey room. I would recomend to avoid this at all cost.

The accommodation was very nice from the outside. We were welcomed nicely, but when we were brought to our room, it already started. The room looked underground. When we took a shower, the room was flooded. It looked like a cave. The only good thing was the receptionist, Helena, very sweet and accommodating.

I highly recommend Penelope Village. It is close to a beautiful beach within walking distance. The staff was attentive and helpful. The location of the hotel is on the opposite side of the island which I knew prior to making a reservation. I decided to rent a car they helped through every step of the way. I loved my experience in Mykonos but the staff was one of the highlights. Another note before I go, my daughter is a certified pool lover and she really liked the pool.

We got a room with the worst possible bathroom I have ever seen, the toilet and shower were together with no partitions and will flood the whole bathroom, pictures are misleading in addition they put us next to the service room and every day since 6am all the cleaning crew will be too loud and would wake us up, it felt we had zero privacy. I asked for a change and they told me next day would be possible and the next day they made up another excuse not to change us. My wife and I had a terrible experience. In addition the hotel help us to get transport and in the end they charged us much more than the regular already expensive transport in Mykonos. Some of the staff were friendly but the dissapointment was the worst I have seen for such a pricey room. I would recomend to avoid this at all cost.

Hotel was nice, rooms were clean and big. We were given a room with a hot tub even though we didn’t book this so we were happy. The hotel is only a few minutes walk to the beach but far from Mykonos centre. Taxi was €60 and the closest bus stop was a 25 minute walk (up a steep hill) Wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy the centre of Mykonos unless you hire a car.

Wonderful staff that very friendly, however the hotel itself is not too clean. One room had a lot of mold in the shower and it was apparent visually and smell wise. I was told that due to the humidity and winds, all rooms will have some mold. I ended up getting another room without signs of mold but the shower was in need of a renovation and wasn’t too clean. The pool is nice but the seats around are yellowed and stained, not sure how the hotel is actually considered 4 stars, I stayed in 1 &2 star hotels/motels that were much cleaner.. Also, food at the hotel restaurant isn’t too tasty and very expensive. Towels were cheap and thin, not soft. Overall, the place has great photos and is very picturesque in real life but not actually high quality or worth it at all imo.. Side note- The beach nearby is a few minutes walk and is super nice.

Mauvaise odeur dans les chambres. Le drain de la douche ne s’écoulait pas donc accumulation d’eau dans la salle de bain. Manque d’assiettes et de tasses au petit dejeuner. Nourriture très ordinaire pour le prix payé. Jamais de serviettes pour la piscine. Il faut arriver les premiers pour en avoir. Pas le droit non plus d’apporter un café acheté à l’extérieur au tour de la piscine. Il faut le consommer à la chambre. Le leur, n’était pas bon. L’eau de la piscine n’était pas claire. Bref, ça ne vaut vraiment pas le prix payé. Pour avoir d’autres places avant, vous pouvez trouver mieux.

La struttura in se per se è carina. Però la prima camera che ci è stata data era orribile. Poi fortuna hanno cambiato su nostra incessante richiesta con una un po’ meno orribile. Le camere sono umidissime. La biancheria del letto e inadeguata. O piumone nel letto o solo semplice lenzuolo. Abbiamo notato che le camere date ai tour operator sono di gran lunga migliori. Inoltre il prezzo del bar e del ristorante sono veramente eccessivi. Es. una birra a Chora € 3,50. Una birra al penelope € 8,00. Infine la spiaggia vicinissima all’hotel è molto bella.
