This is a fabulous resort for a get away. It’s perched on a gorgeous golf course with views to the sea. Our room was really well designed and comfortable. And there are great facilities - a really big pool, a sauna, a first class gym and a games room. It feels remote even though it isn’t. Really quiet at night. Highly recommended.

Our stay was oceanview rooms, which is seperate from main building and with the price paid, those rooms were definitely not value to money,coz these were like a motel vibe. For every little thing, we have to drive to go to main building. Resort's overall facilities were good for kids, like pool and kids play area and view and if i have go go again will go for main building.

Upgraded on arrival by the friendly staff - lovely room with a great view. Three restaurants and bar to choose from. Pool was great though missed having a pinball in the rec room like the Torquay resort (and their arcade game was not working properly). Overall a fantastic stay and would recommend.

We had a great two night stay in the ocean view rooms. Absolutely loved our dinner at the restaurant. Amazing food and I really enjoyed the hospitality from all the staff and services. Salmon Teriyaki Poke bowl was delicious! We will be back. Great facilities and indoor pool for a toddler… we will be back soon!!

Room was perfect in everyway . Apart from NO spare toilet rolls and Tissue box was nearly empty and was by time we left Pool would have been nice to use , But having to walk or drive not worth the effort , Better off booking in Main building .

We always enjoy staying at RACV resorts. We weren't so happy with RACV Cape Schanck compared to the others because they do not have big rooms in the main building that can accommodate 3 adults. We were booked in the ocean view villas which was quite far from the main building. We felt isolated.

What an amazing resort. We stayed in the ocean view rooms which were great and had the most amazing view! Only issue was that it wasn’t part of the main building therefore no room service options there unless you’d drive yourself to get it which was a hassle. Otherwise, amazing facilities and good restaurants. Loved the buffet!

Generally a really nice, well kept hotel surrounded by a beautiful golf course. Really felt secluded and peaceful. Only small gripe was that I could spot some mould on the shower interior which took away from what was otherwise really clean and spacious rooms.

Lovely resort. Clean, spacious and quiet. In room dining was divine. Great food and reasonably priced. Breakfast was okay just the usual hot food, some pastries and fruit with yoghurt. Fruit was not in season and not pleasant but otherwise was a very wonderful stay.

The scenery from the room and restaurants is breathtaking. Breakfast was just ok. The pot of tea was weak and tasteless. The coffee was good though. The ocean rooms were far away from restaurants and tired. The bathroom needed updating with mould in the shower. The staff were nice enough to offer us a lift back to the room at night when it was raining but otherwise no visible shuttle service. Views are stunning yhough

Overall very good. Problem was wood rot present around window frame and exterior. The fly screens to window and sliding door were dirty, which should be cleaned for every visitor arrival.

Noisy neighbour's kids, shouting, pounding the floors and walls kept us awake and frazzled till well after midnight. Multiple calls to reception went unanswered. Next morning front desk staff essentially shrugged it off with a meagre apology. One should expect better service from RACV, especially when paying premium prices for peak nights.

We stayed in an Ocean View room and it was very spacious and comfortable room with a private balcony with a lovely, sweeping view. We were on the upper level of one of the Ocean View buildings and the view was great. It did look like some of the lower levels of Buildings 1 to 3 might have impeded views due to the trees. It was a 5 to 10 minute walk to the main building using a steep set of stairs which would not be suitable to people with poor mobility as they were variable in height and the banister was not at the correct height for support. THe bathroom had been recently renovated with nice modern tiles but spoilt by cheap plastic towel rails and weirdly a grab rail in the shower when no other part of the building or bathroom has disability access. No coffee machine in the room is a minor mark down for me. Overpriced breakfast at $39 per person. A cheaper continental option should be an option.

The grounds are beatiful but the ocean view rooms need a refresh. The beds are quite old and springy, and furnishings / fit out not in the best condition. Worth it for the gorgeous view but the accomdation in the ocean view rooms are a little disappointing.

It was a very enjoyable trip. We managed to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The only thing that didn't work well for me were the pillows. They were too soft for my liking but that's just a personal preference.

Everything about the property was amazing however the advertising on Expedia was very misleading. This room had photos of it showing bath tubs and really high views however our room had no bathtub, and the view was the parking lot.

The staff were not accommodating at all. Basic things like a porter and trolley to move the luggage to rooms as well as no room cleaning services until you call and request for it and still the cleaning wasn't done until 4-5 pm. The staff at check in and reception were really rude

Had a great stay but the attitude of the staff at front desk was really disappointing. I also asked for an extra bed in a large king room for my nephew who wanted to stay and was told there wasn’t enough room when the room was the small size of a one bed apartment! They said it was for fire safety but you could fit a rollout bed easily. When I booked the samphire restaurant, the front desk was very unfriendly. In saying that, meal was great and facilities were great. Just attitudes need to change

If you just want a relaxing and quiet time this place is perfect. My husband and I can just stay in the hotel and enjoy its facilities the whole time. But if you are looking to enjoy the local shops and restaurants it is kind of away from everything else, about 20 mins drive to the nearest town I think.

Property is nice, but too expensive for the options available. Some issues that I faced * In house restaurants dont deliver food to the Ocean View rooms * They dont allow to take breakfast to the room. Very hard especially when you are travelling with a 3 month old. * Dining options are limited * Ocean View is just for name sake...The view is not that great
