Great value for the 💰. Friendly, accommodating staff. Clean room with frig & microwave. Free parking. Would absolutely stay there again.

No frills motel. Everything is Basic but works. Rather small rooms. Not much space to move around. TV suspended from ceiling should be on wal & causes neck strain to watch!. It is small motel so adequate parking . Shower unlit? . We get what we pay for. Nearby similar cost slightly more for larger rooms.

Price was great!!! We just needed a place to sleep. It was 20 mins drive to Universal Studio. Free on-site parking is great. 1 king size bed room for 3 of us (mom with 2 teenagers) was good enough. No closet space. The room was tiny. Hot water for shower! Heater was loud, but worked well. Refrigerator and microwave was great help. Trader Joe's is walking distance/ 7-11 is close enough/ Cindy's diner across the street.

It’s not your 5 star hotel but a great place to stay when you’re looking for a convenient location. The rooms are dated, but not uncomfortable. We were going to an event at the Rose Bowl and this motel offered free parking and was really close to the venue. The owners are on site and super attentive! I would definitely stay there again.

The sheets smelt like urine.

Overall the stay was just average. The window in the bathroom was broken, it was very noisy from street noise and people coming and going. The walls were dirty, the floor was dirty. The bed seemed cleaned, there were no bedbugs or coackroaches. Wasn’t too far from universal. Wouldn’t stay again though.

We chose this hotel due to location and proximity to Universal Studios. The room was clean and comfortable.

This was a quaint little hotel, small and clean. They actually gave a key to the room, something that I have not used in years.

King size bed was comfortable and bedding seemed clean. Windows, when closed, blocked street noise well and the room was dark at night for sleeping. Refrigerator rain continuously, sometimes making a high pitched noise, due to door seal not being tight. Shower curtain covered in black mold and tub had a very slow drain, so you have to stand in a few inches of water when showering. Window screen in bathroom did not fit properly leaving large gap. No kettle or coffee maker in room and only two flimsy plastic cups provided. Heard animals scampering around in the ceiling one night.

I'd give this place 0 stars if I could! I checked in and once I got into my room, I pulled the sheets back and immediately saw a bug. I refused to stay there and risk the chance of bringing home bed bugs. I grabbed my things and took the key back to the owners. I told them why I was leaving, then they insisted that I show them what I was talking about. They immediately started arguing with me and denied that it was a bed bug. He just kept staying "my wife cleans the sheets"... OKAY SIR, THERE'S STILL A BUG IN MY BED. I left and stayed at The Westin in the nice part of Pasadena. This place is not in the greatest area either. I've filed two credit card disputes and they refused to give me a refund. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Wonderful staff. Easy parking. Quiet, and good WiFi. Reasonable. Although the place is old and outdated, they do a very good job keeping it clean. This was my 2nd stay here.

The bathroom was clean but curtains and blanket were terribly smelling! The pictures in web site are misleading: it’s only a motel for one night il you don’t find anything better!

For the price it was good. As most reviewers say it's what you paid for, very basic: A clean bed & bathroom, you also have tv, wifi, mini fridge, microwave and free parking. No dresser, closets or coffeemaker like most rooms. It's busy but quiet area. There was two great diners near by for breakfast: Cindy's across the way and Pete's Blue Chip a couple block to the right of the place and taco truck and a few restaurants. CVS, Starbucks and Target near by. Very easy to get to Griffith Observatory, Warner Bros and Universal City.

THE GOOD: staff (maybe family owned?) is friendly and helpful, despite a significant language barrier, the location near Rose Bowl Stadium is good and an easy Uber, and it's across street from Trader Joe's to buy breakfast stuff and wine, cuz you're gonna need it. THE BAD: the place is old, the room is small, the bed is rock hard with two small flat pillows on a king size bed, the bathroom does not have a single electrical plug, there is no light in the tiny shower that has mold in it, there is nowhere to put your suitcase as the room is too small. No closet or dresser, the tv is mounted up in the corner and ruins your neck if you try to watch it, no hair dryer in the room, although they gave me one when I asked for it, but it was a typical hotel dryer that should be mounted on the wall, so i plugged it in and the base of it just dangled on the wall while I used the dryer. I am not a hotel snob and I really try to see the good in places, but this one, even at the price, will not be seeing us again.

Close to restaurants, Los Angeles attractions. Room is quiet and comfortable.

Property is located pretty central to everything, rooms are a little small but very cozy.

Nice Classic but not fancy

We drove in from Texas and got there really early.The guy let us check in early which was a blessing.The room was really nice and we would definitely stay there again.

Never stayed there was planning to but decided not to after speaking to staff. Needed to confirm few things. First call was super sweet second call he was not sweet at all. And the deposit information kept changing. Made me feel uncomfortable for some reason so I decided not to stay there. Have to be safe these days.

This is a serviceable property. Nothing special but it'll do for a short stay. The pros are the location is on a vibrant street, walking distance to a Trader Joe's, great restaurants and an amazing doughnut shop. You're only 5-8 minutes from Old Town Pasadena and the Rose Bowl.The price really can't be beat for the location. Microwave and fridge in the rooms are a nice touch. The cons are the amount of corners that they cut in rooms. While the rooms and linens are clean, the room is showing it's wear and tear with the windows and doors. Screens, paint and windows need attention and the doors in the room stuck badly when opening/closing. The bathroom is where they really cut corners. The towels are too small for an adult and of the coarsest material. The toiletries are a small pouch of shampoo and a small brick of soap that doesn't lather at all. The real problem however, is the shower. No water pressure at all which combined with the other issues really made that part of the stay very unpleasant for both of us. The service could be improved as well as the person welcoming us/checking us in behind a glass window really wasn't that friendly or personable. As stated, the property is serviceable and affordable but don't get your hopes up for much else.

Very convenient location. Across the road is Traders Joes, which is a good grocery shopping center, and there is a convenient walk-way underground to cross the road safely.

Family style motel, travelling around LA was easy from this location.
