The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The room included a king size bed, couch, coffee maker, microwave, hair dryer, and sample toiletries. I used the laundry facilities which were clean and in excellent working order. $3 to wash and $3 to dry. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again. It was close to Hamvention and the Air Force Museum.

Nice Gym, and not only is the food at the bar great, but the waitstaff and bartenders are cool, friendly and attentive. I love this bar! Happy hour is 4-6.

Convenient to National Air Force Museum. Restaurant food great and reasonably priced. Great workout room. The staff was great. Walls a little thin, and the clankiest, creakieast, noisiest elevators I've ever been on. Overall a great deal though.

A tired property in desperate need of a remodel. Inadequate parking unless you park in the back of the building. Lack of adequate lighting both around the property and with signage. Good luck if you arrive late. Its location is already difficult to find and depends on the base guard telling you that you just missed the turn in. Elevator button may work.

Staff went above and beyond, love the In-house restaurant/bar, and the little 24/7 built in convenience store was extremely nice for late night snacks. Transportation was a bit of an issue due to ride share apps not being available at all times but thats not the Hotels fault. More shuttle options would have been nice but overall a great experience!

Best bang for your buck in the entire area. Safe location in close proximity to Xenia, Beavercreek and Dayton. They allow pets and there’s even a sports bar attached to the facility.

What I didn’t like about the property is that it didn’t have a pool but over all it was nice place and restaurant could offer more items, but staff in restaurant went out her way to accommodate me.

The basin was old and dirty and needs to change badly along with the counter top. There is no soap offered at the hotel and I had to use the soap dispensers which were very were dirty. There is no handle to hold on to when coming out of the shower. The toilet and tub were acceptable. You can see the age of the ceilings of the bedroom which needs painting to hide the imperfections.

Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. The only issue with this room was the VERY Strong Odor of animal urine. If you are to allow animals in the rooms, those rooms should be properly inspected and deodorized after each stay. This obviously was not dine in this room. One suggestion for rooms that animals are allowed to stays is to remove the carpet and replace with vinyl flooring.

This hotel is very outdated. Just an old hotel and our room was in terrible shape. The phone didn't work, one lamp didn't work, the toilet made a constant dripping sound of water trickling from the tank into the bowl so we had to close the bathroom door to sleep. There was also an old used disposable razor behind the toilet. I informed the desk on checkout about these issues but she didn't seem to care. On the plus side the hotel was close to our event and the bed was comfortable. Little to recommend though. I wouldn't stay there again.

I was very happy with the Hope Hotel. I think the building itself is older (1970s?) but is in excellent condition. The common areas and my room were sparklingly clean (there wasn't even any dirt in the far corners of the bathroom floor, a sign that unlike many hotels the staff here really works on cleanliness). The walls, carpet, and elevators were clean and unmarred (a sign that the staff has gone out of their way to fix scrapes, spots, and stains). The staff (front desk and restaurant) was friendly and helpful. A downside is that there's no included breakfast (which I knew in advance), but the hotel restaurant breakfast buffet was quite reasonably priced (about $10). The location (just outside the main gate) is especially convenient for people with business on the air base.

Hotel is definitely dated. The elevator seemed to have trouble closing at times and gave a rough ride. In the room the toilet seat would not stay up fue to hitting counter. The room is perfect for the person that prefers your standard, safe, bare minimum hotel. For me, I’m just looking for a clean bed and a few good TV channels, this was that. My only complaint was a noisy dog barking until 1am but you can’t predict that. The towels were fresh white, the shower got hot, the AC worked perfectly and was loud enough for some white noise to fall asleep to, paired with some football games and it was an ideal night. If you want amenities, and a whole shebang then go elsewhere. We loved that you were practically on the Air Force base and could see the static display of jets from the parking lot.

I wasn’t quite ready for reveille in the morning, which was never mentioned. I only spent one night there. I thought the carpets were very worn & the bathroom was kind of dingy. The staff was very helpful. I have a handicap parking placard, but could not park in handicap spot. I had to park around the side of the building and walk up. It would be convenient if they had more handicap parking.

I've stayed at the Hope Hotel twice now. The price was one of the hotel's attributes. Accommodations here aren't expensive compared to other hotels, and you're getting a bit more than you pay for here. First of all, despite the Regan-era furnishings and overall dated appearance, this is a very clean hotel. The staff were very friendly. One of the maintenance staff rode the elevator with me and wanted to make certain everything worked in my room as it should. Everything was just fine. That isn't to say the rooms, bathrooms, and hallways aren't a bit old-looking. A new coat of paint, NEW BEDS (!), and new chairs would work wonders. It's a very, very quiet place. This is no party hotel, and it's off the beaten track, so I felt that my car would be safer than at a hotel located on Col. Glenn or near the plaza in Beavercreek. However, being off the beaten track is also a downside because you'll be driving a few minutes to find a nicer gas station, restaurant, or grocery store.They have a restaurant. It's called "Packy's." It's okay. Staff are friendly and helpful. This time I ordered their pizza, which was surprisingly bland. Like, out of a Chef Boyardee box-bland. Not bad, mind you. Just... bland. Their burgers are generally better. Recommended if you're tired and don't want to venture out. Overall, this was the second of two good stays at the Hope.

The property is immediately outside gate 12a, but the directions lead you directly through an air force base. Not sure how to change the address. The room was nice enough, but have the feel of barracks and the linoleum counter in the bathroom is badly chipped.

The place is well maintained but a bit worn. The food at the restaurant was good and reasonablly priced. It is in a sepratly fenced area on an Air Force Base so probably can't do better for safety (you don't have to go through security to get to it. It is open to the public)

Wonderful hotel. Great for anyone that has an Airman at Wright Patterson Base. Will have no hesitation to stay here again. Great breakfast at the attached Bar and Grill.

This was a great place to stay! It was clean, the air conditioning was cold, water pressure was great. The beds did creek and make noise when you sat on them they were firm but soft. I was very nervous about this hotel and the price point of the rooms because lower priced hotels are always awful I read alot of reviews from hotels.com, Expedia and Google on all of the hotels this one shined through all my concerns every place i looked so i said why not! I am glad I did!!! Now the restaurant attached to the hotel I dont recommend we sat there for over 30 min to only get a menu to look at and it was pricey 17.99 for chicken strips .... we ended up leaving and going to uno dos tres it was excellent we walked in they seated us and we placed our order ate and back to the hotel in less than 45 min
