Check in was great. Room was great. The beds were super comfortable and so were the pillows. One of the better hotels we have stayed at for a “budget” hotel. Staff was welcoming. If you’re lucky enough to get a backside room you get a view of the roaming cows. Off to the right of the hotel they have a children’s playground, a basketball court and bbqs under a gazebo. You don’t see that very often. Cute little statues all over too. Very nice stay would TOTALLY stay again. Also dog friend which was great.

Staff was great and accommodating. Pool water was clean, but had some leaves on bottom, I skimmed them out myself. The skimmer baskets were full of leaves. I cleaned that out as well, and the water was hair low. The door to the pool area is very hard to open also. The card key didn’t work for the pool area or the side entrance. Has a nice play area for kids, basketball ball court, horseshoes, putting green and outdoor pavilion. Overall the place was clean, service was good. Would stay again!!

Our family, which includes 3 children between the ages of 5 - 11, had such a wonderful time at this location. Not only was it safe, clean & the staff was very friendly but we also enjoyed the facilities that included basketball, the work out center, the pool, miniature golf, & a kids play center! Also, they are very pet friendly. We will most definitely stay there again.

Front desk lady was extremely helpful and always so willing to help or cater to our needs. Cleaning crew was spectacular and very friendly. Gym was very hot. Could use some cleaning in gym and more equipment. Breakfast was yummy and plentiful.

Bed bugs - checked into hotel from long travel. Showered and got into bed and noticed bugs on bed. Caught some, brought to front desk. Was given a second room - checked it out and it was worse than the first. Checked out ASAP and the hotel contact (Connie) apologized and told us to call hotels.com. Hotels.com does not make it easy to contact anyone - no phone number or chat or customer support contact. Never again...

Our room was a non-smoking room and as soon as we walked in it smelled nothing but marijuana, made us nauseous every time we walked in the room. We did report it to service desk.

Opening room door was problematic. Only one luggage cart available. Wasp nests were all over the building outside so they were flying all around. There was still trash in the room when we checked in and dirty towel.

Checking for bed bugs and this was on a pillow. Pulled the beds away from the wall and found dirt and trash. Woke the next morning to find another bug of a different type on my friends luggage. They allow pets at this location. I don’t think they fumigate the rooms after having pets there. Very disappointing compared to the other micotels I’ve stayed at.

Waking up, we loved our view of the cattle ranch behind the hotel. The cows grazing by the pond was so adorable!!! A nice slow, peaceful way to start our hectic day of driving <3 Also, the 3rd shift employee who checked us in (~930p) was incredibly kind and sweet. Shout out to her. Clean bed, clean room, and warm shower, right off the highway. Just what we needed.

There were a couple of things that I informed the staff that could be worked on. The faucet for the dink sits back too far and water gets everywhere. I had to put a towel near the faucet so it wouldn't run onto the floor. The other thing was the room key didn't work on the side doors.

The whole property including building needs a face lift. The rooms need updating. The employees were super friendly and helpful the rooms clean most important the bathroom was clean. Parking was good and safe. Goodnight sleep but the everything needs updating other wise it was good. Thank you. I will be back.

We didn’t get a queen size bed but a full. We reserved for a queen. Rooms are small and no mini frig. Bed is on some kind of metal platform that made noises. Window nook was cute. Breakfast was ok. I’m sure this is great for the area but not worth the $$ or the rating. It’s maybe a 7 not over an 8.

The room was clean and functional. The one thing that bugged us about the room was the drain in the shower. The drain did not keep up with the shower, so we had to stand in our dirty water while showering. The rooms were also not very soundproof. We were awakened about 12:30, with doors slamming and loud talking.

Remarkably friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room. Seamless check-in even though it was after midnight before we arrived. It was very quiet and we were able to rest well before getting up and getting back on the road for a long drive home. If we ever find ourselves in need of a room around Ozark, AL again, we won’t hesitate to stay at Microtel again.

Pool was fairly nice and very quiet. Otherwise though, this property was a mess. Under construction for our entire stay, plus the AC unit in the room was rigged with a towel stuffed underneath, so the condensation tray wasn’t working and our room was humid to the point that the bed covers felt damp to the touch. Lastly staff was clearly unhappy to be there and not nice in even the most basic way. I would describe them as disgruntled. So overall we had a pretty uncomfortable stay!

We stayed for one night to attend Scottish games in Daleville. It started out with an empty front desk. I even went to the bathroom, came back and there was still no one there to help us and the guest ahead of us. My wife started walking around calling out for someone and then finally a lady appeared. She was nice and check in went pretty quick, but it was clear she went off to smoke a cigarette by the overwhelming smell coming off her. There is nothing within walking distance. No marts or places to eat. You will have to drive or use a delivery service if you want anything. The room was clean and there wasn’t any outside noise (a benefit, I guess, of having nothing around). It’s a decent place for an overnight trip, but I wouldn’t want to stay any longer.

Check in was good, the room itself was good. My issues during my stay was, the location of the room and the ac system outside the room. The location was by the side exit of the hotel and a few of the guest or non guest were loudly banding on the door as well as yelling to be let in. From 10pm to midnight I could not rest and nothing was done. As for the AC system outside, there was a terrible whine that was unbearably loud and sharp. I called to have the issue checked out and nothing was done to create a resolution outside of "I checked it". This stay was uncomfortable and when spoken for a resolution in the morning with the front desk, nothing was given besides a dull, "we hear you sir"

The hotel was clean and has been taken care of. The only issue we had was we stayed there for 5 days and the bathroom was short a lot of counter space. We made due as there was a long cabinet in the main room. Also, they don't have king beds? My guess is that king beds cost more. One last thing is the breakfast was a little less than spectacular. However, it was as advertised

The hotel is being remodeled so there is construction in the lobby. Breakfast was on one table by the office. No coffee. But we rested quite well.

The accommodations were basic but lackluster. The staff was the best part of the stay. There were ladybugs throughout our room and window seal along with a few other critters. The sheets were crunchy and needed to be changed by me before I could sleep. The overall aesthetic was dated. The breakfast had no meat. I would not stay here again.

The Staff was very nice and accommodating, the Lobby was under construction and the one reason I choose the stay was early breakfast to get out on the road an extreme disappointment to wake up to a banana or apple a yogurt or a warped Danish on a table in front of a tarped off lobby

Conveniently located, clean room, and friendly cheerful staff. Disappointed that no clean up activities in room after 1st nights stay, Waffle iron was difficult to operate and slow. Disappointed that there was no gym to work out. Somewhat expensive per night.
