Check-in area musty and staff not welcoming. Rusted drains in shower and sink. No waste basket in room (except bathroom) and no trash receptacles outside unit. Advertised as having a pool which is why I chose this hotel. The pool is covered and unusable.

The outdoor pool doesn’t work and apparently hasn’t in 6 years. Very misleading. The indoor pool is up and running though. We were disappointed coming expecting to sit outside in the sun by a pool since that’s what the pictures show. The female workers were super nice. We found dirty

Property attracts visitors thanks to large indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, spa. In reality indoor pool circulates water as is making it suitable for 60min ice plunge rather than recreational swimming, hot tub is out of service, fitness center has most cardio machines in non working condition with some of them used to elevate indoor plants, Spa runs on on-demand bases so if you don’t pre-schedule in advance you’re on your own, Place is somewhat clean but very dated, room was very warm

extremely good value for the money. very pleasant check-in staff. room was fine. Continental breakfast was better than expected with make your own waffle station. only real complaint was that the pool water was very cold - they need to keep it heated!

Hair all over the bathroom, tissue box empty asked for some was given more toilet paper instead. There we're no towels in the pool area and bathrooms were locked. Jacuzzi has only weak jets.Pool is ice cold. Used to like coming here but has gone downhill

Room was freshly updated and clean. The hotel is remodeling the rooms. It was very quiet and beds were comfortable. The indoor pool and hot tub were great. Continental breakfast was ok and didn’t have many choices but what was offered tasted great.

I didn’t mind that it was antiquated but there was a lot of ice in the parking lot. The hot tub jets didn’t work and we called from the pool area phone that didn’t hear us so thank goodness it wasn’t an emergency unsafe

Everything was clean, quiet, nice hot water. sauna was great, pool too cool for me,but looked clean and some people went in. The hot tub was broken,due to vandalism. The owner was very nice. Breakfast excellent, great coffee

We had a beautiful room that shows its age, but was clean and practical. The property is aging and some of the vinyl siding needs pressure washing. It is getting nasty looking.However, the staff was pleasant and it was a quiet stay. The pool was cold, but clean. Hot tub and Sauna worked well.With some upgrades, the property would be absolutely awesome.

The hotel is worn out - old carpet with wrinkles in hallways, strange decor in rooms, needs paint. Our bathroom was not clean- hair on sink, dirt and q-tip on floor, bathtub water first came out brown and dripped constantly. These are first world complaints, but probably wouldn't go back. Bed was comfortable, two TV's in sitting and sleeping areas separated by a heavy curtain. Large indoor pool and hot tub looked good, but closed at 8pm.

Booked through expedia. We had high hopes because the hotel wasn't cheap and we were attending a concert. Check in was easy. Got to our rented room which was more of a motel room. Bathroom was very dirty and there was signs of degredation all over the place. Honestly in today market i expected this to be a 100$ room a night. I could hear literally everything the room next to me was saying and doing. The window in the bathroom was broken and you couldnt open it. My partner used the bathroom and the exhaust fan just never kicked on. Couldnt stay in the motel room due to the lack of smell ventilation. The bed sheets had giant black marks on them. First impression i was dissapointed and genuinely debated driving the 3.5 hours home instead of staying in the motel room.

Very nice older hotel close to Saratoga race track. Everything was very clean, variety of toiletries available, high quality towels, comfortable beds, and continental breakfast. Only stayed one night, but the staff seemed very nice as well.

The room we were given had obviously not been used in awhile. It smelled dank and musty and was hot since the AC hadn’t been turned on for us. When the shower was turned on, the water ran brown for several minutes and never really ran clear. The best part of the room was the towels and they were only average, and we were only given 2. The breakfast was free so you can’t complain.

The room wasn’t as clean as it should be. Stuffy and dusty. Couldn’t stop sneezing. Rusty water coming out of sink and toilet and shower. Took several minutes to clear. Room keys didn’t work 3 times. Non working ceiling fan in bathroom. Crank to open bathroom window was broken. Came back at end of day and phone charger was missing. Website looked better than it was. Very disappointed.

The room smelled of cigars and cigarettes. I'm a non-smoker and the smell was very noticeable even over the strong smell of a cleaning product. You cannot cover it up, it just makes it worse. The bed was comfortable enough but the sheet and towels smelled of cigars too. This is an old motel which is fine but far from perfect...

The initial room that we checked in into was very dirty with a refrigerator that still had leftover food in it. The room also had a very disgusting smell that signified the room has not been cleaned properly. Breakfast had minimal food, and every single time I went to breakfast, I was monitored over by the staff of how much food I was taking. There were only two towels provided and no toiletries. The pool was not heated at all.And the hot top was barely warm and did not turn on after pressing the button.

Facility and room did not live up to photos. Old building, fixtures and furniture all in need of repair or replacement. Parts of suite was dark with burned out light bulbs in light fixtures.

Big rooms with separate bedroom! Water coming from the sink when faucet was opened had a brown color that went away after it was kept running. Looks like there is a rusted pipe in supply line.

Comfortable bed. Had a nice balcony. There was a hotel and more of a motel (enter from parking lot) section. We were in the motel section. The bathrooms were more updated than the pictures on the website which was nice. All needed toiletries were provided. The only strange part is that there were no curtains on the bathroom window that faced the parking lot. The windows were frosted but when it is dark outside and the lights are on inside the bathroom I didn't feel like it offered enough privacy. Overall it was a comfortable stay just 3 minutes from SPAC for a good price during Jazz Fest weekend.

This property is a decent distance outside of Saratoga Springs proper, and even from the park itself. It's a motel at best. While my room was no smoking, it had a musty, smoking scent to it. There were only three or so rooms booked in the bank of rooms facing the road, and they placed us all together, so I could hear the race fans who were tailgating outside my window.

Well... suffice to say, this hotel is in its last legs. Seems like it was a nice hotel back in the day, but it has outlived its life unfortunately. How they can rationalize charging over $150 per night is unfathomable, and we were foolish to pay it. The door on the room could not even be opened without great force. The carpets and interior are old and worn. The bath and shower area were, let's just say, not good. Don't be fooled by the pictures and make the same mistake we did.

I selected a room that was the "motel" part of the complex. Totally my fault.. The room was clean, the beds very comfortable. Having folks parking right outside our door was a little disconcerting, but again, my fault. More towels would be nice. The breakfast was good. The office staff polite and welcoming. We did not use the pool/spa. Will definitely stay there again. Very convenient location.

The suite was clean enough, brand new mattresses (definitely not queens though, more like full). However, the building is old as hell and it carries the smell of mold upon it. Super sketchy clientele, made my wife and kids uncomfortable. The continental breakfast is the worst I have seen, only slightly above COVID-day CB's.

Staff was helpful, kind and accommodating. Rooms are quite spacious, very clean, bed extremely comfortable. Very quiet during the evening. Good decent breakfast of eggs, yogourt, waffles, fruit, bagels etc. Good coffee. Well priced, location is good.

I went to this Inn and there was nobody at the desk. I waited for at least 20 (maybe 30) minutes. The lobby/reception area look dirty and with a feeling of abandonment. It smells musty and like cigarette. Pretty disgusting overall. When the receptionist finally came in, another customer started to say they wanted a refund because the room was nasty, with brown water coming out of the faucet, and that they found an adult toy in the room. The receptionist suddenly started yelling and screaming at the customer violently. We picked up our stuff and immediately left. I'm only reviewing this because Expedia requested my review, but technically I didn't stay in this place, and never will.

Manager threatened to call the cops and threatened a gun because my boyfriend got locked out of the room and he called him a liar and wouldn’t let him in. Kicked him off premises and had him sit by the road.

We checked in and left quickly for an event we were scheduled for. Unfortunately we did not examine the bathroom. It had not been cleaned. Dirty sink, Dirty tub/shower and the only garbage can in the room was in the bathroom and that had not been emptied in quite a while because it was half full of garbage. We did not get back to the room until very late and that's when we realized it was dirty. I spoke to the manager in the morning who essentially blamed me for not calling him when we got in.

The Roosevelt Inn is an amazing resort. FDR heritage with photos in the lobby, bring history to life, with an amazing environment. The Inn has both expanded rooms and suites all appointed with comfortable furnishings. Convenient to Rt 9 and 87, the Inn has a warmth and friendly atmosphere to share with guests. The spa, whirlpool and indoor pool are added benefits. Spa convenience is readily available. The Inn is located on a spacious lot with views of lush green fields. For added convenience, a Restaurant is located onsite. This Inn is an A+++ !

I had a great stay here. The owner was very nice, and the property was clean, comfortable, and in a great location, just about a 5 or 10 minute drive to the popular spots in Saratoga. I really enjoyed the pool, which was meticulously kept and clean. When I go back to Saratoga, I'm definitely staying here.

This is an older property that used to be very nice. Unfortunately, I do not see any sign of the new ownership updating the property and our assigned room was not even cleaned upon entry. They assigned us a new room without an apology. New room had lots of dust. Bed was not comfortable. Continental breakfast was limited. We wanted to love it. Still an okay deal for a popular SPAC show, I guess.

Property was nice and staff polite. Massage was included but Spa Staff were off. Fire alarm went off in the evening, no communication. Breakfast was served only one morning during our stay.
