We loved staying in this Inn. The staff were all very friendly. I contacted them because we were stuck in traffic and also had a 7.30 table booking. They messaged back straight away saying not to worry if we were late. On arrival just at 7.30 we were booked in quickly in a friendly way and taken to our room. We were able to get changed and enjoy our meal unhurried. The room was lovely with large tv a very comfortable large bed and 2 comfy chairs and coffee table in the window. The room and en-suite were both a good size. The evening meal was really tasty and our breakfast in the morning as delicious and well presented as the evening before with various options available. I would recommend the Unicorn Inn for its hospitality, great food and very comfortable bedrooms. We really appreciated the way we were made to feel welcome and unhurried on arrival and throughout our stay. If we are in the area again I would not hesitate to book here again.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Quaint building with good sized beer garden for our dog. Our room was small but comfortable and fortunately there was a good breeze through the open window but imagine it could be very warm in hot weather. Did notice when the mattress moved on the bed there was a lot of dust in the support bars underneath. Main problem for us was the limited menu option as a lot of food was coated in breadcrumbs and no fresh or healthy options and my scampi even had the peas missing and my husband didn't get the peppercorn sauce or crispy onions but the staff were also short staffed so we didn't want to complain. Breakfast eggs cooked to perfection

Nice pub in great location, unfortunately it was at the height of a heat wave and there was no fan or water in the room and it was like a sauna.

Very good breakfast selection, all nicely cooked and served. Good bar service especially during England v Norway match!! Room clean, good tea/coffee selection and nice bathroom toiletries. Room (2) would benefit from some coat hooks and a towel rail in the bathroom. Overall a lovely stay at a lovely old Inn in a beautiful Oxfordshire village.
