They did not let me know till the day of, that they were under construction. Nails in the hallway, blue painters tape on the fixture in my room. Room smelled of paint. I had to go through the side door, as the front wasn’t available for entrance. Went in through the side door to go get checked in, but as I walk up the hallway which divides the hallway and the dining area, there was an individual working on the floor tiles. Looked like they were cementing them down and I actually had to jump over. Which someone could definitely fall having to do that. The elevator didn’t work all the time, so we had to carry all our luggage to the second floor, all the way down the hallway. We saw elderly people pulling their luggage down . The staff was very friendly and the bed was comfy.

The hotel overall was quite acceptable. The issues I had were more of a personal choice problem. Mattress way too soft and pillows left a lot to be desired. Elevator made horrendous noises that were quite scary. Will stay again for upcoming trip, but will request bottom floor due to elevator.

renovations seem to be almost complete..I've visited 3 times since August and the improvements are appreciated. The property around the building is still littered with trash and various furniture/ equipment that has been removed for renovation, unsightly.

Friendly staff and updated lobby. The room was on the main floor and had only a thin rolling blind to cover the window. Light shone in all night into the room and there was no way to darken it. Also, the “suite” just had empty space and no chaise or relaxing furniture in the room.

We checked in at around 4pm one of the rooms was not ready. No big deal we unloaded in the other room that was ready. At night the they had music playing at the entrance of the lobby. Our room was right next to the speaker. If the AC was not on the music didn’t let you sleep. I told the front desk at checkout that the music was terrible and I couldn’t sleep. They said they would

The hotel is under remodeling, but the lovby and breakfast room looks like a construction zone. The air conditioning in the common areas is not working correctly. The staff in the front desk is rude, not welcoming at all. Will not stay here again.

This ended up being a much nicer stay than I anticipated. My family booked a double queen with a pull out couch, and unfortunately they oversold those rooms. They called in advance and offered us a king bed with a complimentary double beds room next door to accommodate us. The rooms were clean, the beds were so comfortable. We all agreed it was one of the best nights sleep we’d ever had in a hotel. Breakfast was wonderful, the kids were ecstatic about the pancake maker and cinnamon rolls, and I loved the veggie omelettes and biscuits and gravy. Service was excellent, especially when we checked in late at night. Would stay here again!
