Loved staying at BGH. The complimentary bikes were a great plus… tho the bikes could use a little work. The Adirondack chairs on the porch were a great way to unwind at the end of the day. Overall, highly recommend, would stay here again.

We just had an amazing 3-night stay. Arrived at noon and called the number on the door to ask if we could drop our bags in the hallway, before 3pm check-in. Daniel said our room was ready and let us in early. Also let us drop our bags in the laundry room for a few hours after checkout. They provided extra propane for the BBQ and fire pit. Free bicycles that we used 4 times. Two nice backpacks that we used to go shopping at Albertsons with, via the bikes. Full kitchen setup. Perfect location to walk to anything downtown. We biked to Albertsons Stadium for a Boise State football game. Biked through Julia Davis Park and the Boise State campus. We highly recommend BGH and will be back!

I loved the Nature suite. Had everything needed to make breakfast or simple meals. It was very clean and comfortable and within only a 15 minute walk to 8th street the main dinning strip. Would stay here for sure again.

Great place, although would ask for for room other than #2 only because it faces the front and anyone walking by can look in. Only other thing is bed was really soft. Room is otherwise lovely, well set up with little kitchen and fridge. Place is close to the capital and easy walking distance to downtown Boise. -

I loved the simplicty of the room mixed with everything you need for a weekend stay! The kitchen is great and the antique bathtub is very charming. Location couldn't be better with the city just five minutes away. Would definitely come again!

I enjoyed my stay at the Boise Guest House! Location was great for my needs. Room was comfortable. Host was kind enough to let me keep my luggage there before my flight so I could explore the city without dragging my luggage around!

I enjoyed my stay at the Boise Guest House! Location was great for my needs. Room was comfortable. Host was kind enough to let me keep my luggage there before my flight so I could explore the city without dragging my luggage around!

Terrible experience. The AC didn't work; the lighting in the space was horrific. Couldn't take a shower without water leaking everywhere. 1st-floor unit with a glass back door; the outside security light kept turning on and off all night. Sleepless nights. The only good thing: good location.

Nice place to stay right now they’re working construction on the opposite side of the street so be prepared to hear beeping noises at 6 AM Monday through Friday. Also stairs are very creaky. I know it’s an old house but everybody would know if you’re coming or going because it is extremely loud and does not seem safe.

The bed was advertised to be for two but was a double bed and a terrible mattress. Otherwise place would be great. But if you can’t sleep it ruins your trip!

Absolutely loved our stay at the BGH! Our only complaint? We only stayed one night and couldn’t fully enjoy the room (Treetop Suite) or amenities (cruiser bikes). So happy we found this little oasis in Boise and will definitely stay again if we have the chance. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Find a reason to go through Boise and stay here!!
