Clean, spacious, and new rooms. The fitness centre was garbage - not enough equipment and what was in there did not work. Hotel is outside large road and walls are very thin so anyone closing their doors, walking in hallway, trucks driving by will be noisy. Breakfast included in price was a bonus - typical Continental.

Too much noise. People across the hall were having a birthday party and staff did nothing about it. People stomping upstairs above room all night and early morning. Again staff did nothing! The pool stated heated, it was not, it was ice cold!!! Booked this hotel for the pool and spent about 10 mins in it.

That’s a good place is being remodeled lobby totally closed. Hard to find out even where to go in to register my room was one that needed to be redone things falling apart little smelly, awkward elevator working half the time just not good at all today’s day didn’t get any bug so I’m happy.

This property is currently under construction, and the front desk is closed. We arrived after dark and had to follow the signs to check in at the business center in the middle of the first floor. There was no one attending the station and we had to wait for him to arrive. Once checked in, we found that he'd given us the wrong room that missing the second bed. When we went back to get the correct room, the desk was again unmanned and we had to wait for him to come back. Check in overall took at least 45 minutes while we were tired and genuinely feeling unsafe in the space.

The rooms were clean and the staff was nice, but the pool was not clean. I mentioned it to the front desk and they said they would have a maintenance person look into it and let me know when it was clean enough to swim. As I stood in the pool room looking at it, two other families showed up in swimsuits, looked at the condition of the pool, and walked away. I got in up to my knees, then went to shower to get the sliminess off of me. I had thought it was simply cloudy at first. We were there for four days and not able to use the pool, which was one of the main reasons we chose this property. Hopefully they will correct it for future use.

Laundry room was extremely noisy. 2nd floor dryer could be heard in entire building. Complained to management and they stated nothing they could do

The pool was closed. The pool is rhe reason we chose to stay here.

The side door entrance was broken so anybody could gain entrance at any given time the window you can see someone used it as an ash tray second window you could fully open so it wasn’t child proof or safety proof at all $100.00 deposit is crazy still waiting on that to come back to my account

Room was dirtier than first looked- shower was dirty and tile floors were clearly not washed. Conditioner was filled with something else, lumpy/separated and smelled unlike the shampoo. Very loud location- racing cars going by all night long.

This hotel was filthy with stained, dirty, carpet everywhere and room furniture that I wouldn't put my luggage on, much less sit on it. The shower came from a war zone. This Holiday Inn Express has been neglected for so many years that I'm amazed that IHG hasn't pulled their franchise.

It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I will be staying there again.

The room was clean, and all things were in working order. Breakfasts were good and the staff was gracious.

The only complaint was the musty smell in the rooms

As soon as I opened the door to the room, the smell of mold or vomit overwhelmed my senses. The room had no hair dryer which was listed as an amenity. The side of the cabinet, holding the television, fell off as I was trying to close the mini refrigerator door which would not close due to the door falling off its hinges. I woke up both mornings with horribly bloodshot eyes due to an allergen in the room. I was informed by front desk staff that there were no other rooms available. The first night I had to listen to a woman yelling and stomping around on the second floor, I was on the first floor, for over an hour as she argued with some man. At breakfast the next morning I heard other people who were on the third floor talking about hearing this woman. Unfortunately had to stay as I had already paid for the room. I would avoid this place at all costs. Breakfast was average. Hotel would benefit from a remodel.

Comfortable just wish the tv had streaming apps like Netflix only offers cable television

I was surprised to find a Microwave and refrigerator in our room. I didn't check to see what was available since we were only staying one night. But that was a pleasant surprise. We did enjoy their breakfast with hot food options and they have an indoor pool which was a perk more for my daughter. The beds were comfy and the shower had great water pressure as described by my daughter. I liked how big our room was an the design with the wall hook small shelf feature. It was cute. I liked it. We'll definitely consider it again since there were many shops on that road which would be convenient for a longer stay.

Unable to find TV listings - even using the "guide" button on the remote

Hotel is just average. The room was big, elevator fast and coffee good. But it’s right next to the freeway and you can really hear the traffic. The bathroom light is obnoxiously bright! The tv stations few and the bed and linens not comfortable.

The walla are extremely thin. We could clearly hear the words being said in the room next door. Throughout the evening, we were woken up by the noises next door, which was so clear and loud, it sounded like it was in our room.

Older hotel. Mattress was not new. It was just ok. Hotel is very clean. Smells clean. Just old. Looking for no frills comfort stay. This is the place.

The check-in agent when we first arrived instilled extra anxiety when she told me I had two rooms booked when I only needed one room and only booked one room. Her customer service skills did not handle the situation very well. She also never took her eyes off her computer, and never once looked at me, never said welcome. How can I help you, basically threw the keys at us and this is not an exaggeration. There are two elevators to get to our room. How could the property managers allow both elevators to have all lights in each elevator completely out and not warn anyone? It was pitch black and we had to use our phone lights no matter which elevator we used. Again customer service Nonexistent. After a full day out, we return to our rooms and neither key was working. We very tiredly went back downstairs to report this, and again were made to feel like we screwed up because the desk person said well if your phone was anywhere near these keys, it wasn’t going to work, in a Disciplinary type tone. No one ever told me to keep the phone away from the keys. There are more than three strikes here, and it all involves customer service.

The staff were INCREDIBLY nice (the breakfast manager, the person at the front desk at night and the person at the front desk in the day). Everyone was so personable. I have never encountered that. It was great. The breakfast was also lovely. Great room. Clean. Pool was nice.

Absolutely horrible guest experience, so called Manager no professionalism whatsoever. He was being very passive aggressive when trying to have a conversation with him. He made false accusations, then charged my room wrongly. After the continuation of being spoken to rudely I made the decision of checking out early. When he saw that I was speaking with his staff he rudely intervened, then called the authorities. Everything is in the police report, stating that the accusation that was made was false. I hope in the future when you speak with fellow customers that you provide effective communication throughout the entire time of their stay. I also hope that when your employees are feeling conflicted and can not find it in themselves to communicate amicably that they take a step back.( Please review Google Review for additional notes) He chose to respond to my review in an unprofessional manner. Again there is a police report stating that it was his belief not a fact. To any accusation that has been made publicly. I have a copy it's on google. I do not recommend this manager. It is unfortunate for company and the employees that this man works there. The manager presents himself unprofessionally in image by wearing a wrinkled button up, that was untucked, with no tie. Inadequate in handling customer issues by not providing effective communication and making false claims.

My stay was good even though my flight was canceled and I had to check in next day, the staff made that easy for me, specially Anailis, she helped me booking with an extra day at the hotel.

I called the hotel 3 times before the arrival and the. 3 times was left on hold. They never attended me. The room was smelling awful. The carpet was months of accumulated dirty. The bathroom was also smelling bad and found out that the curtain (made of cloth) was not washed. After the first night I expected to have house keeping cleaning the room but it did not happen. When complaint about it, the receptionist said that she did not what happened and that she did not have anybody to solved the issue. The apology was light. I will never book this hotel chain again.

Great experience, quiet, clean, and near shopping centers

Property was just renovated. Staff nice. The only negative was the room was difficult to close. The hotel sign is set back from the road making it easy to accidentally drive past. Would definitely stay there again.

The bed was very comfy! The location central to our needs. However, we gave a 4 because the shower curtain rod was supposed to be one that bowed out and instead it drooped down making the curtain slide to the middle… no matter our best efforts- we got water all over the floor. The following is not the hotels fault but it sounded like someone was tap dancing in the room above us, so I would recommend a top floor. The pancake machine was not working, but the cinnamon roll is always great! Nice selection of yogurt.

Good location multiple places to eat there’s a Walmart down the street. There’s a grocery store across the street in the plaza. The staff is friendly the hotel is in docent condition the rooms are clean. Close by the college CCSU.

The location is great, easy to access, the hotel and room was clean but the toilet seat was raggedy and chipped. The pool area was very clean and warm. Breakfast was supposed to start at 7am but was nearly non-existent at after 8pm. A couple of workers scrambled to heat things up from the freezer. This was very frustrating since I was there with family which included three very small children.

I stay here a lot. Always clean, friendly and efficient at check in regardless of the hour. Breakfast is always well attended and stocked with hot and cold items. I've stayed here over 6 times. The renovations are good.

The hotel was very nice. It was so clean. The workers were all very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was a big surprise and so good. We looked forward to it everyday. We would and already have recommended staying at this hotel to our friends. Thank you for making our stay very pleasant.
