WiFi was awful, it couldn't load Netflix. Also, the TV channels didn't work.

We slept terrible because the room was so hot. There wasn't a way to turn the thermostat down and no A/C. One of the outlets didn't work and the TV could never connect to the internet.

Everything was great. Remodeled, felt safe, clean and very helpful nice staff. Walking distance to downtown. Had coin Landry, ice, AC, felt like a little slice of home!

My room had bugs that were biting me all night! It was awful. I slept about an hour - and when I went in the morning to report the situation to the front desk, the guy essentially said - you could have left in the middle of the night and you couldn't gotten your money back. Which was just so weird - because where am I going to go at that point? Try to sleep in my car? He was rude and ultimately didn't refund me anything. I called the hotel chain and they basically didn't care that the motel was infested with bugs. Just a terrible situation and ruined my weekend.

Decent location (walking distance to downtown), but overall, would not recommend… One of the biggest issues was our nonsmoking room smelled like smoke. The smoke smell was so dense that it was like a punch in the face walking in. Every single time. All of our clothes smelled like smoke coming home from this trip. Could we open a window? No, it couldn’t open and there was only one window. Air fresheners and essential oils barely helped. Another major issue was the light from outside that was shining directly into our one window. Even when we closed the blinds (no curtains), it was bright enough in our room at night to see. As a result, it was hard to sleep. Not to mention that every night, we could easily hear the train passing by. Loudly. A random hole in the wall that was filled with a rag. Yep. Burn marks from the heater along the wall. You bet. The room had been renovated/updated superficially, but the quality of the room was still very poor. Aside from the poor hotel structure, you could tell they tried to clean the rooms well (clean sheets and towels) and the bed and pillows were decently comfortable. Trying to be economically responsible, never mind. Not worth it if it means staying here again.
