There was a sign of roaches! The elevator made a horrible noise when the door opened and closed. An employee told us it was because the owner put in a cheap elevator. The water in the shower did not have a very good stream, not much water pressure.

I’ve stayed at this property about 15 times over the last 3 years. It’s looking run down with broken tiles, squeaky elevator, and scratches on furniture. Staff nice but I hate that they hide in the back and I can’t check in quickly. I usually lie in the breakfast room to wait for someone to appear after calling out a few times.

Property in overall nice condition. Checked into a large suite. Overall decently clean. Carpets were stained but to be expected. Windows & doors in hallways were kinda grimey & not cleaned during my stay (only 3 nights). Sizeable breakfast with options. Pool was busy with kids when arrived & seemed pretty clean from afar. Ample parking. Would come back if in the area.

The pool was closed while we were there. The washer and dryer on the second floor was out of order so we had to wait to use the one on the third floor. The elevator was noisy. However the property and hotel were we clean.

Needs maintenance done. Only have one elevator working. We were there a month before and the elevator was not working then. They only had one ice maker working on one floor as well. It’s a nice place to stay however it needs maintenance work.

Very friendly and funny, did a great job with keeping everything stocked. When we checked in, Johnny was training a new associate. While he was on the phone she had a question. He didn't seem upset or belittle her in front of us, just explained how to do it. Beds were comfortable, able to get the AC adjusted well. Shower spray was a bit 'meh', but okay. Check on out easy. Would stay again without any hesitation, even though it was not convenient to where we were going each day (Seafood Festival in Morehead City).

The staff was very friendly and nice, the breakfast was good. But our room could have been cleaned much better . The bathroom sank was not that clean and the shower could have been cleaned a little better. The sheets was not very clean.

We checked in Saturday may 25th really late. When we took our showers we didn’t have any hot water, it was barely lukewarm. The shower pressure was horrible. I had to wash myself 3xs before I actually felt clean. And I couldn’t get all of the shampoo out of my hair. I informed the front desk, they assured me that someone would look at the issue and fix it. When we came back that night and took our showers it was worse than the first shower, I informed the front desk again. She informed me that they were full they couldn’t put me in another room nor could I they fix the issue until Tuesday. $500 and I couldn’t take a proper shower..

Nice hotel, great service BUT… One of the elevator doors was very noisy, making a screeching sound every time it opened & closed. We can hear it down the hall in our room. The doors to each room slam & closer very loudly. Most people were good about controlling the door, but if they weren’t, the doors would slam. Woke us up early in the morning & it kept happening until we finally left.

Every person working here was kind and professional. The bed was SO comfortable, and the room is very quiet. All 3 main breakfast options over the three days were delicious, and there were plenty of other options if you aren't an eggs and meat kind of person. I highly recommend this hotel.

When I first entered the room I was originally assigned, there was an objectionable odor in the room. I called the front desk and the lady on duty immediately found another - and better - room for me to use. While, true, there was an issue with one of the rooms, your customer service was A+. I will definitely stay there again if the need arises.

Our stay was great! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and Jewel was so sweet to my 5 month old son! Once we got settled in our room we heard a toddler screaming and a large dog barking. We called down to see if we could get another room since we had a small child. Jewel said no problem and moved us to another area. After that our stay was peaceful! So thankful for them working with us and making our stay great!

Upon arriving, the attendant was on her phone with her AirPods in when I tried to check in. It took another team member physically making contact with her to get her attention. We didn’t have enough towels or blankets. When I went downstairs, the attendant let me know that we were lucky to get a blanket. Beyond our experiences with the front desk attendant, our room wreaked of men’s cologne each time the air kicked on. I ended up sleeping in the car because of the impact the smell had on my health. I never want to experience another night like that.

The property was within walking distance of downtown Swansboro ( 1 mile). The staff was EXCELLENT- so welcoming and friendly. The room and bed were comfortable. Continental breakfast had several options. The only one thing that needed improvement... one elevator made a terrible noise when closing. The other elevator did not make this noise, so would advise having that attended to and fixed.

Hotel is under major remodeling/construction. Our experience: Some food Items missing the first day are still missing on day 6 of our stay. Bathroom was poorly “cleaned” multiple days. Hot water completely stops mid shower a few days. It was Christmas week and Christmas Day but 2 days our beds weren’t even made. Had to go downstairs to get our own towels one evening. We love the Hampton and have never had an issue here before. I’m sure once the remodeling is done in March it will be back to being a great place to stay in Swansboro. It would have been proper for them to tell us when we booked (Hotels.com) that they were under construction.

This property was very clean. The beds were crisp. Spacious for someone staying even a week. The breakfast was amazing. Everything hot and fresh, choices were good for every taste bud. The granite countertops were beautiful. Bathroom was clean. There were enough towels and toiletries were awesome. The staff at the front desk were very cheerful and helpful. She let us know where everything was and when breakfast was served. I’ve never had an attendant let me know where the towels for the pool were at. Overall great experience. We will be making this our yearly anniversary stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This hotel had so many amenities, in both the rooms and common areas. Breakfast was great and coffee and refreshments were available throughout the day. Even a bowl of dog treats for guests with pets. Nice pool area. Room was very clean and staff were all courteous. Highly recommend this location.
