They showed they had a pool and hot tub and it had been closed since covid. Also the restraunt is only opened in winter. The carpet smelled wet and moldy and the room was not cleaned very good there where cob webs in the corner celing and behind the night stand. Paint was chipping off walls and it is very outdated. Also had a actual key to get in room with a lock that was not very safe.

Pool has not been opened for years, but is still on their web page. There was not a glutten free or diabetic option on the breakfast bar. A discount was not offered because of the no pool and that was one of the reasons we stayed there. There was also no locks on the outside doors into the floors where the rooms were.

I was very pleased with this hotel. I’ve stayed in Quality Inn’s that are not near as nice. The halls to the rooms look outdated, but the rooms have been remodeled. Everything was clean!!!! I didn’t feel dirty when I left. Rooms were also very spacious. Only upset that I had was that one of the reasons I chose this hotel was because it said it had a hot tub. After a 10 mile hike, I really looked forward to that. Lady at the desk said the pool/hot tub hasn’t been open since new ownership. That needs to be removed from the amenities list.

Overall, it wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't stay here again. The front desk and service staff were friendly and helpful, but the entire hotel had a very rustic, backwoods vibe. My room apeared clean, but things like the mattress, doors, tub, toilet, tile, and bathroom caulking were so worn out or outdated that the room could never feel truly welcoming to me. Also, the pictures and description on Expedia clearly advertised a pool and hot tub -- in fact, this is the reason why I chose this hotel over another option. However, I realized only after I checked in that the entire pool house was closed, to the point that the windows and doors had been covered up. That isn't a temporary, unforeseen problem with the pool house -- that's a long-term closure that should have been clearly communicated before I had ever booked the room.

Very disappointed. We booked our stay here because it advertised a lounge and restaurant. The lounge and restaurant were closed down and empty. They had a pool that was empty and found out it hadn’t worked for seven years. The room needs updating. The bathroom was filthy. The fixtures were all rusty. We had a hot tub in our room that we did not trust to use.

The room was updated and modern except I think they forgot about the bathroom when they made those updates. The front desk ladies were very nice when we checked in and out. The continental breakfast was a good start to the day. The only drawbacks again, the bathroom in room and the fact that the outside doors didn’t lock especially considering the rural setting.

The a/c did not work right. We were hot. The tub was either so old it looked dirty or it was dirty. We did not shower. Weak boards in the decking, seemed unsafe. The worst thing was the first room they gave us had a spot of blood on the bottom sheet. Made me worry about bedbugs. They did give us another room. Would not recommend this motel.

This stay was just okay. We had to personally clean the hotel ourselves on arrival, as there were stains everywhere (walls, door, bed-frame, table, etc) The white sheets and shower were very dirty as well. The AC was so dusty that we did not feel comfortable turning it on, even in the heat. I would not feel comfortable coming back here, but it did the job for the time we had reserved it. We spent an hour or two each night listening to the people in the rooms above us, which made it hard to sleep. Breakfast was fine.

The room was not overly dirty. But the smell, was horrible! I understand when I’m traveling with a dog I’m not getting the best room. Unfortunately I’m paying the same as everyone else and getting a way lesser room. I get that. But come on! The smell of urine on the carpet was so horrible!! My dog is a 9 pound, non shedding animal. Just makes me mad when I’m paying the same and getting literally a disgusting smelling room where I can see the urine stains. Halls of the hotel were pretty gross too. Staff was friendly was our only upside.

This hotel is a chain with no owners on site. Typical of a chain as far as service goes. However, my room was spacious, absolutely clean and very comfortable. Some of it updated, some of it not. I had a King with a separate living room area. The shower was great. The bed and bedding was perfect. The internet, not so much. My phone didn't work most of the time there even though I was signed in to the internet. So, if communication is a must for you, maybe this isn't the place, but I didn't care. There was a free breakfast, but I never saw it so can't speak to it. They did allow my big dog and I appreciated that they didn't discriminate based on size as a lot of places do. There was a lot of property nearby to take him out for walks and potty breaks. The hotel is not right in town, but it is just a short drive away. I left something behind and they contacted me right away offering to mail it (which they did). I will absolutely stay here again when I go back in the fall and definitely recommend it.

Our stay was fine after we switched rooms because the first bed was horrible - mattress was unacceptable and every time you sat, laid, or moved on it a sound like a steel drum occurred. The next room’s mattress and bed frame noise was better, but you would occasionally get the steel drum noise. The noise happens because the bed frame is made from large pieces of sheet metal - what a terrible design. Everything else about the hotel and stay was ok.

Legit everything was closed. Pool/hot tub/restaurant/gym. Dirty had mold in room. Staff entered room without knowledge/permission when out to chk if my claims were correct. Then went in next day w permission to change bathroom fan. Which didn't help.

room was on the 2nd floor of a separate building from checkin area - no elevator pulled our suitcases up a ramp & down the hall to get to our room hotel had a different name than the one I booked under GPS and cell phone did not have reception so we had a difficult time locating this hotel asked desk clerk to help us with the Pictured Rock boat cruise and she gave us a map and circled where we were and where the dock was to get the cruise in town wanted her to call to find out if a boat cruise was still available that evening but she would not call I had the phone # but could not call since I did not have phone service desk clerk was nonchalant and indifferent to our request only did the basics of giving us our room assignment & key and telling us about breakfast the next morning asked about the waterfalls and she said they are on the map location was further out of town than I expected

Not in Munising, it's in Wetmore. 10 min drive to town. We will come back for smowmobiling due to a trailhead being cliseby, they have Skidoo snowmobile rentals for people that dont own their own, and very big rooms.

Needs some updating. It is decent for the price. The breakfast was waffles, cold cereal, bagels etc. No sausage or bacon. There are Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches that were past the double doors that we took back to the room to heat up in the microwave. We only knew about the sandwiches waiting in line to check in. Overall it was a decent place to stay for a couple of nights.

The room was very nice and it had the best bathroom I have seen in a room! The place is set off the main road so it is nice and quiet. The only downside was breakfast did not have eggs or sausage. We would go back.
