This is not a 4* hotel. Instead, it’s an adequate 3* hotel with pleasant staff and good river views. Rooms are beige and in need of updating. Rude bar staff were unable to produce a hot drink on the grounds that “all the machines have been turned off” - not even vaguely acceptable. Overall, it’s ok if you’re expecting a 3* product.

The Dining room and food were excellent and the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The location is perfect but the parking is very limited and I would image a real problem during busy periods. The room (327) has all the facilities needed but is ready for an update, so for these reasons I only rated it as 4 stars.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful room was comfortable and spacious breakfast was plentiful only thing that took time to figure out was the layout of navigating the stairs as we were on 3rd floor all in all it was pleasant so thank you to all concerned.

Right inthe town bang in.a bit old fashioned in decor and facilities.could do with modern uplift. Breakfast menu not great.no help yourself buffets for food or drinks all has to be ordered from a menu.no room service or fridge in the room I stayed,and the double bed was two singles together which wasn’t great either.the carp park was a really tight squeeze to park and flooded when I stayed there.when it had rained.its ok to stay here it is what it is,perfect for ballina town,but for me a bit more of an upgrade needed on hotel interior and bathroom toiletries.looking past all that.it suited my needs and this just my opinion on my stay.

If you need to stay in the center of Ballina.. this is your hotel...walkable from the train station. Staff are so friendly,helpful and professional.Check in was easy. Rooms are clean and cozy. Ballina Manor was okay but needs some update to its overall condition. Was a bit disappointed that there was no temperature control in the room as it was rather stuffy in there. In summary, nice but could improve. Hotel staff was okay. Not rude, but definitely not excellent service
