metro hotel and Cafe

Great hotel, comfy rooms and with a lot of character in a good way (very rare these days). Advice: Book directly with hotel. Hotels/Expedia made our modification/cancel request a run around nightmare for me (and no doubt the hotel ). Cost us money when our plans changed forcing us to come up with a solution on our own. Third party booking services can sometimes be helpful but usually go to hotel themselves is our experience

I stayed in room 167 which is in the back of the property so it’s nice and quiet. The room was adorable comfortable bed had a few little amenities and Nespresso machine and a mini bar.. if you out the back window is of a redwood tree so it’s very relaxing and quiet. They do have breakfast available from 8 to 10 for an additional charge. I did not participate however because I’m vegan. They had wonderful coffee from Joshua Tree coffee company. It looks like the restaurant is getting ready to open that’s on the property, which would be a wonderful addition. I highly recommend this charming, comfortable, and close to town location.

We stayed in a small airstream. It was so much more comfortable than I expected it really felt like we were hanging out under the stars. Check in was easy and parking was right on site.
