I stay in a lot of hotels with my work trips and this is one of the best if not the best place to stay. From the moment you arrive you are welcomed with a warm, helpful and happy check in. All the staff are extremely polite and go out of their way to make your stay as relaxing and pleasent as possible. I have stayed here many times in different types of there accommodation and each one is to the highest standard and extremely clean and tidy and are set in beautiful surroundings with a lovely beer garden. The restaurant and food are also to very high standards as are the breakfasts and again all the staff are polite and helpful. This hotel also has the added bonus of electric car charge points. To sum this hotel up in one word, PERFECT. 👍

We stayed at The Plume of Feathers as it was convenient as a stopping off point travelling down to south Cornwall. The stay was wonderful. Starting with Jo who was managing reception with a welcoming smile and gave us a room upgrade. All the staff were so helpful and attentive. The food was excellent for dinner with a great menu. Breakfast was also excellent. The room decor was superb with Farrow & Ball paint and lovely tiled floor and big bath/walk in shower. I would recommend the rooms by the top car park.

I stay in hotels alot and this hotel is my favourite, its always a perfect stay. From the moment you check in they are very welcoming and friendly, you have everything you need in your room, the food is amazing and a very relaxing stay. The ev charging is also a bonus. 10/10

We had a wonderful three night stay at The Plume of feathers. We were three girlfriends who stayed In a gorgeous family room. It was designed and decorated beautifully. The bed a and linen were comfortable and we slept like logs. Lovely nesoresso coffee machine. Bottles of water every day. Open shower was interesting so you need to get on very well if you use these rooms. The gardens are very Lovely around and the pub has a Fab atmosphere and the food was also exceptional. We loved the staff. They were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was yummy and everything was available. They changed things for our dietary requirements. Lovely coffees for Breakfast. Lots of parking. Driveable to all destinations around Newquay. We will be back with our other halves as we loved it so much. Thanks for a Fab weekend.

Fabulous experience from check-in through to departure. Very welcoming arrival experience including being shown to my room. The room was both spacious and spotless. My evening meal and breakfast continued the theme and I will certainly stay again. Staff were lovely

Large room was very comfortable. Shower was strong and WI FI was trouble free. Windows do not always provide privacy unless drapes are closed. Bathroom does not have a door on main space. Staff was great and restaurant was very nice also.

We chose to stay here again as another hotel wasnt up to scratch. Ended up booking a room literally thirty minutes before we checked in. Was so glad we could stay again as we had stayed here the night before. Lauren showed up to our room in the torrential rain nothing was too much trouble. The staff are absolutely lovely. Our room was gorgeous room 17 everything we needed. Slept really well the bed was so comfy. Great powerful shower. Fab breakfast to set us up for the day. Will most definitely be returning to stay again soon.

The main hotel and our room we're both absolutely stunning. The room was more like a small apartment and styled so beautifully. The bathroom was incredible with a much appreciated heated floor and giant bath for our toddler to swim in! Service was impecible and so friendly; birthday banner and use of a fridge included. Thank you so much to all at Plume. We would love to come back and stay again next time we are in Cornwall.

I stay in a lot of hotels with my work trips and this is one of the best if not the best place to stay. From the moment you arrive you are welcomed with a warm, helpful and happy check in. All the staff are extremely polite and go out of their way to make your stay as relaxing and pleasent as possible. I have stayed here many times in different types of there accommodation and each one is to the highest standard and extremely clean and tidy and are set in beautiful surroundings with a lovely beer garden. The restaurant and food are also to very high standards as are the breakfasts and again all the staff are polite and helpful. This hotel also has the added bonus of electric car charge points. To sum this hotel up in one word, PERFECT. 👍

We stayed at The Plume of Feathers as it was convenient as a stopping off point travelling down to south Cornwall. The stay was wonderful. Starting with Jo who was managing reception with a welcoming smile and gave us a room upgrade. All the staff were so helpful and attentive. The food was excellent for dinner with a great menu. Breakfast was also excellent. The room decor was superb with Farrow & Ball paint and lovely tiled floor and big bath/walk in shower. I would recommend the rooms by the top car park.

I loved the village setting, the peace and quiet, the beautifully modernised bathroom with heated floor tiles! Also I tasted the best meat pie I have ever eaten, followed by the most delicious bread and butter pudding!! Just a few minutes away from the very beautiful and popular Newquay town! I wish we’d had more time to spend there.

We had a wonderful three night stay at The Plume of feathers. We were three girlfriends who stayed In a gorgeous family room. It was designed and decorated beautifully. The bed a and linen were comfortable and we slept like logs. Lovely nesoresso coffee machine. Bottles of water every day. Open shower was interesting so you need to get on very well if you use these rooms. The gardens are very Lovely around and the pub has a Fab atmosphere and the food was also exceptional. We loved the staff. They were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was yummy and everything was available. They changed things for our dietary requirements. Lovely coffees for Breakfast. Lots of parking. Driveable to all destinations around Newquay. We will be back with our other halves as we loved it so much. Thanks for a Fab weekend.

Lovely quiet location, comfortable bed, nice amenities in room, luxurious bathroom. Very friendly staff from front desk, servers and housekeeping. Food good in restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Would recommend and stay again when in the area.

The rooms were spotlessly clean and the food excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient and there was plenty of parking available. We would happily stay again.

We chose to stay here again as another hotel wasnt up to scratch. Ended up booking a room literally thirty minutes before we checked in. Was so glad we could stay again as we had stayed here the night before. Lauren showed up to our room in the torrential rain nothing was too much trouble. The staff are absolutely lovely. Our room was gorgeous room 17 everything we needed. Slept really well the bed was so comfy. Great powerful shower. Fab breakfast to set us up for the day. Will most definitely be returning to stay again soon.

Great weekend stay. The place is well run and the staff friendly, efficient and courteous from the reception to the housekeeping. The buildings have been excellently renovated to a high standard and it's spotlessly clean. The food was great. Plenty of parking.

I had researched The Plume of Feathers as a wedding anniversary destination, so thought I knew what to expect. The reality was even better! We were given an upgrade to a Luxury Room and it was superb. Clean, very well furnished and spacious. I highly recommend it if your budget allows. We had breakfast and evening meals at The Plume and the food was great every time (the Full English was especially of high quality). Every member of staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. I can't speak highly enough of them. Being in a central location, The Plume is an excellent base to explore Cornwall and is just off the A30. Overall I can't fault the quality and service we received at The Plume, I thoroughly recommend it.
