The staff were all great, including waiting, cleaning and reception staff. Shame there’s no sun loungers at the beach, given it’s a beachside property. Towel system a bit annoying. Pools not being heated was an issue for October holiday but can imagine summer it’s ok. The one main issue we found was the allergy labelling on food was inconsistent and not clear at all. The staff were also not reassuring, telling us one thing had something in one night and then the next night not. Would be very worrying for serious allergies.

We came for the first time to this hotel. When we arrived the person at the reception was friendly but just checked in without explaining the accomodations. Where we have to go for breakfast or how to go to the beach. That was a pitty. The food at the hotel is really nice and you have a lot of choice. Every evening there is a theme for dinner. The personal in the restaurant and at the pool are really friendly and nice to kids. Everything in the hotel was very clean. Every day they came with fresh food or ice cream at the pool for free for everyone. In the pool the kids cannot use a floatable toy although it's a family hotel and the pool is really big. Overall it was a nice holiday and we had a lot of fun.

However: The pictures show a beach but this is not part of the hotel and need to pay for beach chair and umbrella Restaurants in the area are average and limited options for nice dining No touristic attractions nearby Uber is only transportation and very expensive Most tourist attractions leave from Malaga which is around 45 minutes away. There is an all inclusive option but if you don’t chose that, a meal would pay €35 per person You have to pay €3 per day for the in room safe The airport is around an hour away.

We really enjoyed the activities for both children and adults. There should be kettles in the rooms. The free filtered water was excellent. The buffet was one of the best we have visited, but a bit crowded.

Excellent facility for kids to play and enjoy pool time. Busy as expected, lot food options but may rather find balance between quality and quantity. Staff accommodating but also busy. Pool floor quality slippery so maybe some warning for young kid and elderly may help prevent unfortunate falls. Overall excellent for pool, beach time and reasonable price.

El hotel es maravilloso, no me gustó que publiciten spa y que lo que haya sea una piscina interior helada y que ofrezcan masajes… eso no es un spa. Y la animación de 12 a 16 no existe… se quedan estos niños sin nada. Por lo demás el servicio muy bueno y la comidas espectaculares. Nos ha gustado mucho!

El hotel es de corte familiar, masivo y muy popular. Por lo mismo, deben procurar una mejor y constante limpieza de los espacios comunes. Las piezas y sobre todo los baños necesitan urgente renovación. Se etiquetan como hotel de 4 estrellas pero la caja fuerte la cobran aparte, 3 Euros por día, eso debería estar incluido para garantizar la seguridad de los bienes de los pasajeros. La comida es solo correcta, la calidad no es el objetivo. El check out es a las 11:00, lo que es más temprano de lo normal. El personal es amable, lo único bueno.

Hotel fabuleux, le personnel est à nos petits soins et ils est chaleureux et souriant. Nos demnades ont ete faite dans une belle chambre avec vue sur mer. Hôtel de qualité, très beau. Les repas sont variés avec différents themes des pays et de bonnes qualités et variés le buffet. Je recommande cet Hôtel tres bien situé et de qualité sur les prestations et tres propre. The balcony had a double tiled step which was difficult to see and was a danger to myself AND my wife who gas sight problems The towels in the room were old and thin. New investment on towels at least to the better rooms need considering Our glasses in the room were not changed or cleaned throughout our 3 day stay. We had to wash and clean our glasses every day. Not hygienic.

Zimmer: Leider war die Klimaanlage ausgestellt. Das Zimmer wurde tagsüber sehr warm, so dass man die Balkontür offen lassen musste (keine Kippmöglichkeit). Der Badwasserhahn hatte einen Sparstrahlregler, der das Wasser extrem runterreduzierte, so dass man sich über der Badewanne waschen musste. Das Wasser war sehr chlorhaltig. Restaurant: Das Buffet war in Ordnung. Leider wurden einige Produkte nicht nachgefüllt. Darüber hinaus wurde es schnell schmutzig. (Was auch an den Gästen lag). Pool: Der Innenpool machte nicht den saubersten Eindruck. Die Liegen beim Außenpool wurde früh mit Handtüchern belegt und erst viel später genutzt. Allgemein: Beim Auschecken musste ich leider feststellen, dass die Getränke beim Abendessen nicht kostenlos (im Gegensatz zum Frühstück) waren. Darüber wurde man im Vorfeld nicht informiert. Auf Nachfrag meinte das Hotel, dass bei Halbpension die Getränke nicht im Preis enthalten seien.

This is my third time at this hotel. This time I stayed with my teenage son for 5 nights. Our room was excellent, really cold air conditioning and immaculately clean. The staff at the hotel are always very friendly, great selection of food (we were half board) which is slightly different every night. The pool area is great too, kept very clean, loads of sun beds, good activities and right on the beach. The only (very slight) negative I have is that the beds are a little on the soft side, although I realise of course that that’s very subjective.

Wir haben das Hotel wegen der Wasserrutschen als Abschluss unserer Reise gebucht. Leider darf man sein Kind nicht bis zur Rutsche begleiten, so dass unsere 3. Jährige Tochter sich nicht wirklich getraut hat. Das kannten wir so von anderen Hotels bisher nicht. Dies und andere Regeln wurden rigeros abgepfiffen. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung. Lediglich die Temperatur war unerträglich. Die Klimaanlage konnte es zwar runterkühlen, aber selbst in der Nacht wurde es innerhalb von 30 min. Wieder 2 Grad wärmer und das obwohl wir nicht auf 22 Grad gekühlt haben. Auch war ungünstig, dass die Klimaanlage direkt auf die Couch und damit auf die Schlafmöglichkeit für unsere Tochter pustete und sie damit bei uns schlafen musste. Leider generell üblich, aber die getrennten Betten die zusammengeschoben werden, rutschen halt auseinander. Unsere Tochter lag zwar nur in der Ritze und ist nicht runtergefallen, aber das ungute Gefühl blieb. Das Essen im Hauptrestaurant war erstaunlich gut. Üblicherweise ist das ja eher ein Kritikpunkt. Das Essen in der Snackbar fanden wir nicht gut. In der Nähe sind gute Restaurants, zwei Waschsalons und Supermärkte zu finden. Der Strand war auch in Ordnung.

Beaucoup de points positifs: Une très grande chambre avec vestibule. Le mobilier de qualité. Une terrasse couverte. Une belle salle de bain avec douche italienne. Une connexion WIFI parfaite. The pool is fantastic. Clean and safe. All the staff were really helpful on reception except for 1 man who let the team down - quite rude and arrogant when checking us in and when we needed some help with our room also. The lady that did the Bingo on 7th June made up for it though :)

Very nice hotel. The apartment we stayed in was a bit aged, but comfortable enough. Buffet was amazing at both dinner and breakfast. Staff were great! The kids pool was a great success with our 2 years old.

Fint ophold og skønt hotel. Det er meget stort og utrolig meget larm under måltider. Mange aktiviteter. Mange tyskere og englændere. Personalet meget imødekommende og servicemindet Dog meget kedeligt område. Så vejret ikke er godt, kræver det man har en bil

We loved our time at Iberostar Waves Málaga Playa. It was beautiful in every way. The beach only steps away from the pool. The grounds are gorgeous and the staff fun and helpful. The food was delicious with so many options. We had breakfast plan so we went to restaurants for dinner which was great being 10 minutes walk to many options.

Very well organised and well appointed family hotel. We had an apartment with half board but all inclusive is available. The apartment had a basic kitchen and there’s a supermarket almost opposite. There’s direct access to the beach from the swimming pool area. Travelling with a coeliac and Spain, and this hotel in particular, seems very well set up for gluten-free eating.

Hotel bem ok, entretanto, as refeiçoes eram muito ruins, deixou a desejar ficando bem abaixo das expectativas para um hotel 4 estrelas e da rede Iberostar. Do cafe da manha ao jantar, apesar de ter variedade, a comida era totalmente sem sabor e nao gostamos da qualidade em geral. Os sucos todos horriveis. Sobremesas tambem ruins. O Snack bar nao tinha nem hamburguer de carne 2 dos 3 dias que fiquei no hotel para comer, sendo que era basicamente hamburguer e hot dog de opcao. A cerveja era boa e os bares bem dimensionados p/ atender a demanda, coisa que o restaurante nao era (meio bandeijao). Atracoes a noite bem legais tbm para interar a familia e criancada.
