It was more than I expected. The hotel is not only beautiful, it is the true Tuscany experience. The staff is high quality (they go beyond to offer the best experience), the bakery goodies are delicious and the pistachio cornetto is the finest flavor. There is a shuttle that takes you from the hotel to two different points in Florence, both very convenient from 8am to 9pm. The premises are immaculate clean and gorgeous. The sunset view is unforgettable. My only issue is that the shower is too narrow. I don’t know if it depends on the room size and I am not a big person.

Exceptionally tranquil and relaxing villa in the Tuscan hills. No highway noise or downtown party noise, just a constant mild breeze filled with the songs of a variety of birds. Close enough to downtown Florence to see all the sights, either via the free hotel shuttle or by 30-minute walk if you don’t mind the incline (or the heat, it gets pretty warm and humid). Likewise, close to the meeting points for many 3rd party excursions (aside: the off-road wine safari was a lot of fun). Bed was very comfy and the room and grounds were kept very clean. The scenery was amazing, and the substantial garden made for a comfortable place to relax in the afternoon. Service was very good, the bar was well stocked, and the restaurant served some stellar meals, both at lunch, and at dinner enjoyed outside by sunset. The buffet breakfast was also very good. I would definitely return!

We just spent the most incredible week at the Villa Agape. It is beautifully situated above the city of Florence in stunning garden environment. We took the daily shuttle down the hill to enter the city. We ate supper in the restaurant. The breakfast is generous, delicious, and freshly produced each morning. The artwork and overall decor make this a beautiful hotel setting for romantic getaway. The services and courteous staff made the entire experience simply wonderful. Highly recommend.

Very nice hotel if you want to visit the Florence area . We had the annex room but it was comfortable and spacious . Breakfast was great and the settings are beautiful . They have a shuttle that takes you to the City gate . The only negative is that it runs only until 8pm . The hotel’s restaurant for dinner was good but not great . Overall a very enjoyable stay at this 4 star hotel .

Away from the crowds. Quiet and park like. You need to take a taxi to get to and from this hotel but they have a terrific, free shuttle and operates from 9AM- 1PM and 4PM-8PM there gets you in walking distance to the center of the city making it really accessible.

This was a spectacular place to stay. Parking was easy, the room was beautiful. We were able to walk out and wander around the property. The sunset was spectacular. We also enjoyed the dinners. We would definitely come back again.

Upside is that breakfast was included. Dinner menu was limited in choice. There were no lighter options. For example; salad, charcuterie board. The gardens and view are spectacular. The walls are surprisingly thin. I could clearly hear people’s conversations as well other activities. Air conditioning was working well which was appreciated during the warm days. Shuttle service has 2 drops off locations. Michael Angelo (great sunset) and the second location brings you within 10 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio. Bring good walking shoes !

The gardens are absolutely beautiful with walking paths throughout the property. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The food was very good. The room and bathroom were spacious. Internet access was good and easy. They have a van that will take you to two different drop off locations for you to explore the city and will pick you back up as well. I will definitely be staying here again!!

I loved my stay here. Everyone was very friendly and accomodating. My room was gorgeous, clean and comfortable. The breakfast had such an assortment if great items and the dinner was very good as well. The staff responded very quickly as well to any inquiry, room service request, or shuttle request. I appreciated everything and would stay here again.

This was such a beautiful property and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa! The staff was wonderful and we never had an issue finding someone to accommodate our needs. A breakfast buffet was included with our stay and was delicious. We were a big fan of the espresso machine! We returned each day to our room appropriately cleaned, new linens, fresh towels and trash removed. The property was stunning, both inside the villa and the outside grounds. The shuttle service was very convenient but take note that it takes a break from 1300-1600 and stops at 2000, so we had to take a taxi back each night and it was around €30 each time if you are coming from the center. However, the hotel made it definitely worth it! We would definitely recommend this hotel!

The room was large and beautifully decorated as you would imagine a room in a Tuscan Villa would be. The grounds are wonderful and immaculate. We enjoyed our walk through the olive groves. The food was great and breakfast was excellent. We loved all the staff. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

The property and grounds are pretty - but didn't get a chance to explore them much while we were there. The room had a lovely view, but was small and the layout was odd. I had higher hopes due to pictures I saw online and reviews I read. Staff was nice. The breakfast was not that impressive. There's a shuttle offered but we did not use it due to the limited timing and location that it dropped you at - didn't seem that helpful for where we wanted to go.

El hotel es muy bonito, jardín espectacular … pero lo más importante del hotel debe ser, entre otros, comodidad de descanso . Y en este hotel la comodidad de descanso deja mucho que desear, ya que la cama fue horrible, el peor colchón que he puede existir … creo que mi espalda ha notado cada muelle de esta cosa que se supone debería ser un colchón … un hotel de 4 estrellas debe preocuparse más por la calidad de descanso.

An excellent place to stay for a visit to Florence. The location in the hills was great, it felt like you were in the countryside while still being close to the city. The hotel grounds were picturesque and the hotel itself was charming and full of history. It felt very welcoming (particularly thanks to the staff) and homely while still having modern amenities. A real Tuscan retreat.

The free shuttle is a nice touch, but it only goes to two drop off / pick up points that do not go to the city center, and is limited to certain hours. That said, walking back from the city center (if you don't mind a slightly strenuous walk), is kind of nice. Once committed to the property for the evening, there are no close options for food other than the resort. The food options between mid-afternoon and 7pm are limited. If you drive to Florence and are planning additional site seeing in the broader area, such as Siena, Pisa, Lucca, etc., this is a great option. If you fly to Florence and plan just to explore the city, considering staying in downtown Florence.

Beautiful grounds and property. I liked staying outside of the busy part of Florence yet close to everything. Staff was mostly helpful. Room was quite small but charming. Could hear other guests through the vent in the bathroom, and through the walls at night. I’d stay here again, the grounds with the olive grove were a highlight and it was very relaxing to spend time on the terraces.

I’d stay here again, the grounds with the olive grove were a highlight and it was very relaxing to spend time on the terraces.

The room was large and beautifully decorated as you would imagine a room in a Tuscan Villa would be. The grounds are wonderful and immaculate. We enjoyed our walk through the olive groves. The food was great and breakfast was excellent. We loved all the staff. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Rooms are very small but clean. Breakfast the best you can ask for. Outdoor settings, absolutely beautiful. Staff is super friendly. Shuttle are available throughout the day. Definitely recommend!

The good: *This hotel is today, or once was, an impressive château. It was a house/estate owned by a French dutchess *our room was big and nice *AC was quiet and good *grounds are beautiful and quite impressive *you will feel like a Medici aristocrat staying at this hotel *views of Florence are amazing *dinner chef makes super high quality dinners. *breakfast was very good and included in the room price *worth staying at this hotel for the food alone! *really friendly and enthusiastic staff. We feel like we know the staff personally after a 4 day stay! *bed quality was great. *bartender takes great pride in her "spritz" recipe! red and orange spritz on ice cocktails are real popular everywhere we go in Italy. *my wife says this is as romantic a place as we have ever stayed at. quiet, manicured gardens, upscale neighborhood, Florence views, beautiful patios. *hotel shuttle van provided on demand to/from tourist areas. *electricity was good, but bring an Italy plug adapter. Also, bring a 220 to 110 volt converter. Amazon sells these adapters and volt converters. 220 volts will smoke a lot of US devices. The bad *WIFI internet worked, but was problematic. It needs a serious overhaul. *not exactly bad, but book a room near the elevator. our room required flights of stairs.

The walls are surprisingly thin. I could clearly hear people’s conversations as well other activities. Air conditioning was working well which was appreciated during the warm days. Shuttle service has 2 drops off locations. Michael Angelo (great sunset) and the second location brings you within 10 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio. Bring good walking shoes !

Where do I start? 100000/10. Villa Agape helped out so much. From Casandra at the front desk to Lora at restaurant they are so kind and helpful. I planned this trip to propose to my now fiance and they help schedule all the appointments for her from massage to hair and make up. We will be back for our honeymoon

Just returned from a weeks stay at this lovely hotel. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt so well looked after by all members of the team. From the reception staff, bar, restaurant, housekeeping, breakfast and garden team nothing was a problem, you are always greeted with a very warm smile. Huge shout out has to be given to the shuttle crew, who are on hand to drop off and pick up too. This is an excellent base not only to visit Florence but also the surrounding towns. Everyday we left set up with a good breakfast. Every evening it was fabulous to finish off our day watching the sunset from the terrace (and yes you do make the best Aperol!) Can't recommend this place enough!!!

My wife & I had an excellent stay with outstanding service and a prime location. The breakfast was fantastic, and I can’t wait to return. I was thoroughly impressed. It's just a 20-minute drive from the main area, but it's absolutely worth it. Honestly, this area is remarkably clean and incredibly relaxing.

This hotel was incredible omg. We stayed an extra night in Florence after staying at a hotel with no reception this was a huge upgrade. We were greeted by Kassandra at reception and she was so friendly and welcoming. She showed us around and walked us to our room. Back to this hotel like wow, it has a beautiful garden, everything is kept so clean. They have a huge park which we took advantage of and walked to take pics. They make olive oil with the olive trees they have on site. The park I was told is 7 acres. All staff members are lovely from the bar staff, to the restaurant which was fantastic by the way. I can’t wait to go back for an extended stay and enjoy this beautiful please a bit more. We didn’t try their breakfast but they left us to go bags including a Gluten Free bag for my wife which was an amazing touch. Nicolette was also lovely, spoke with her about the area and how beautiful the property is. The gentleman working the AM shift on Saturday morning (8-30-25) was also very friendly. Thank you for an incredible one day stay. I can’t wait to come back.

This was truly one of the best experiences we have ever had. We have been to many upscale hotels. But the staff and service were truly exceptional and accommodating. From speaking about things and actually making things happen. To remembering my birthday two days later with a cake on my birthday unprompted. They were truly unbelievably warm, friendly, helpful, and so sweet! I can’t wait to come back and highly recommend!

The stay itself was lovely. The estate is beautiful with a wonderful garden and grounds. Worth a visit even just for all the amazing pics you can take there! However I personally had issues with some staff who were unfriendly or downright frightening with their angry resentful attitude. Maybe they were pissed off for working at night on holidays (or racist??) Tried to avoid them and all was fine. Also they play American pop songs throughout their bar and restaurant which completely ruins the mood so I asked them why?? And they seemed pissed off again but thank god turned it off for me. Staff at breakfast and during the day are so so nice. The breakfast spread with their homemade honey comb and fresh juice is wonderful. Other than a few scary staff (avoid) and horrible BGM (request to turn off) it is a wonderful retreat from the tourist crowds of Firenze.

Upon arriving, our room was upgraded to a Prince Suite for our Honeymoon, the staff couldn’t have been any friendlier. The A La Carte cuisine was amazing and they provided transportation to the edge of the city upon request, AND picked you up again. And as for the beautiful gardens! We can not praise this gorgeous villa enough and look forward to our next visit.

The hotel was located above Florence near Piazza Michaelangelo. They offer a convenient shuttle service, which makes for easy access to the city or piazza. However, you may need to go up and down stairs. The staff were very helpful and prompt. They arranged our taxi for an early departure of 4:30 am and provided us with a breakfast box! The shuttle arrived promptly upon request, the breakfast buffet was amazing and delicious! The grounds are breathtaking and offer plenty of beautiful photo opportunities and provide a quiet and relaxing atmosphere should you need a reprieve from the crowds. I highly recommend the villa!

Exceptionally tranquil and relaxing villa in the Tuscan hills. No highway noise or downtown party noise, just a constant mild breeze filled with the songs of a variety of birds. Close enough to downtown Florence to see all the sights, either via the free hotel shuttle or by 30-minute walk if you don’t mind the incline (or the heat, it gets pretty warm and humid). Likewise, close to the meeting points for many 3rd party excursions (aside: the off-road wine safari was a lot of fun). Bed was very comfy and the room and grounds were kept very clean. The scenery was amazing, and the substantial garden made for a comfortable place to relax in the afternoon. Service was very good, the bar was well stocked, and the restaurant served some stellar meals, both at lunch, and at dinner enjoyed outside by sunset. The buffet breakfast was also very good. I would definitely return!

Most staff were great, but we did have one guy who didn't seem very happy or accommodating when we asked to borrow a corkscrew.

An excellent place to stay for a visit to Florence. The location in the hills was great, it felt like you were in the countryside while still being close to the city. The hotel grounds were picturesque and the hotel itself was charming and full of history. It felt very welcoming (particularly thanks to the staff) and homely while still having modern amenities. A real Tuscan retreat.

Excellent hotel. Inconveniently located, away from the city, but that also has its advantages. Staff was very friendly and room small, but spacey. Classy facility, which I would frequent again. A/C was not efficient during heat wave, but that is to be expected.

Away from the crowds. Quiet and park like. You need to take a taxi to get to and from this hotel but they have a terrific, free shuttle and operates from 9AM- 1PM and 4PM-8PM there gets you in walking distance to the center of the city making it really accessible.

This property is the perfect place to stay in Florence. The views, gardens, and staff are amazing. The breakfast was the best I have had at a hotel. Loved that it was outside of City Center but walkable with great views! Shuttle was nice too. Best stay. Highly recommend.

The entire experience was top notch. Comfortable room, excellent on site restaurant. Hotel and restaurant staff friendly and knowledgeable. Free shuttle to Florence provided. The hotel is a beautifully restored villa from the 1400’s.

Very nice hotel if you want to visit the Florence area . We had the annex room but it was comfortable and spacious . Breakfast was great and the settings are beautiful . They have a shuttle that takes you to the City gate . The only negative is that it runs only until 8pm . The hotel’s restaurant for dinner was good but not great . Overall a very enjoyable stay at this 4 star hotel .

Outstanding hotel in the hills above the city. Beautiful Tuscany grounds. Sunsets were amazing. On site restaurant was very reasonable priced and the food was amazing. Shuttle service to the city was within walking to all the major places. Our room was smaller than expected however.

We could not have had a better stay in Florence. The entire staff deserve raises. They were the most helpful and kindest people in all of our locations in Italy. We will be back! That breakfast was AMAZING--fresh juices and lots of gluten free options.

A beautiful historic villa on the hills overlooking Florence. The villa, which sits in a delightful garden, is a haven of peace and tranquility. Our room was clean and spacious, the staff were most helpful, and there is a free, on-demand shuttle bus to the outskirts of the historic centre during mornings and late afternoon/early evening. Great breakfast and dinner too.

Amazing experience staying here! The villa is stunning you feel like you’re living as royalty. The gardens are beautiful despite the extreme heat of Italy. Don’t miss a sunset in the gardens. We had dinner twice, both nights had lovely food and service. The Buffett breakfast is definitely worth adding to your stay. The shuttle that takes you into town is such a good idea. Even though we had a car we didn’t have to worry about trying to park near the city to explore. Lovely Villa, thank you.

Most staffs were very nice. But there was a receptionist who was very unhelpful and dismissive. THE MOST HORRIBLE thing was, after we left our negative experience at the hotel feedback system using the rooms tablet, that staff came knocking at the front of our room at 9 pm confronting us with very intimidating and rude language. We tried to request to see a manager or at least other staffs. But our request was responded like NO ONE will help you. So we went for help in the restaurant. The restaurant staffs were very nice and acknowledged the seriousness of the situation. But according to them, the manager who was not on site for duty strongly refused to even talk to us over the phone to handle the situation. So the whole thing was left unhandled and we only get assured that the intimidating receptionist will not be at the hotel over night as her duty ended and we shall be safe The manager met us the next day and agreed to our request of cancellation of the remaining days of stay. We did not request for other compensation but only a formal apology letter which he verbally agreed. Yet we never received even after 3 weeks
