My husband and I had an enjoyable stay at this hotel in February. It was very convenient that it is attached to the Halifax Tower Hotel. We were able to access the bar and restaurant of the hotel next door without going outside. The on site breakfast room is very nicely appointed and the buffet breakfast is a better quality than other hotel included breakfast buffets we have had.

The breakfast was fantastic and it was a very cosy and inviting experience and the pool was so warm we throughly enjoyed the late nice swim it is so lovely that it is open till 11 at night cause after shopping closes it was very relaxing and didn’t interfere with my day plans but we’re able to still have a swim great!

Best hotel breakfast and service. Staff were super pleasant and helpful. Shoutout to Charmaine at breakfast and Jess at the concierge desk. The rooms were spacious and clean. They do daily housekeeping. The location is very convenient. Close to the highway and restaurants. The pool is a good size and opened late (11pm). Plus you had access to coffee, juice and water 247.

Overall a good stay. Breakfast was nice with a generous variety of options. Unfortunately a bit too much garlic in the scrambled eggs. The hotel was very busy on the days of my stay so parking was at a premium and difficult to find a space even when I came back after dinner at 7:15 PM The room was spacious and the bed comfortable.

There is no hot tub at this hotel but the pool makes up for it, as it was really warm (close to a spa pool temperature). Sauna was nice, but took a while to heat up. Room was really clean, and bed / pillow were comfortable. Great stay

Likes: newer facility, comfortable beds, great breakfast with hot and cold options included; good price but you will need a car given distance from everything Dislikes: You can hear people rooms beside and above you; the closet safe is awkward to access; closet hangers are permanently secured to rod making use difficult; too few hangers; room cleaning was poor with garbage and dirty towels left untouched after bed made and fresh towels provided; parking lot tight and very full, requiring us to park next door; staff’s command of English was poor.

This was a very nice hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The Thai restaurant across the street was very good and fast. The swimming pool was open early for a morning swim. The breakfast is hands down the best complimentary breakfast I have had at a hotel and the dining room was kept very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Check in was very disappointing. My trip was pd by company cc and I had all my documents in long before my arrival. Upon check In I was told no fax received because there was no access to a fax machine. After talking to the manager the FD staff all of a sudden remembered the fax authorization. I would have preferred (and been understanding of) “I’m new and I amunsure. Second the pool was slimy and smelled like lake water. It needs chlorine for sure Third my room had hairs (a few, not one or two) in the shower and around the floor. The pool shower had gum in the top left corner (facing the windows) Last my keys would only work 1x. Once I used it, it deactivated and 4x I had to go get another key programmed But breakfast was delicious. The FD staff who checked me in was very nice even tho my check in wasn’t ideal but the 3-11 staff was on her phone every time I had to get a key and seemed annoyed I was interrupting her. She even suggested it was me holding my phone to close. I had already considered that the 2nd time but the 3rd & 4th I made a point to leave my phone in the room so clearly that wasn’t the issue Hotel is beautiful. Nice decor. Bed comfy I know staffing is short every where but if you can’t provide quality service & cleanliness you can’t charge top rate for below par

Shower curtain rod fittings were loose and not secured to the wall properly. Advised front desk the 1st morning after check in - the issue went unresolved. Housekeeping was below expectations. The carpet never saw a vacuum, as potato chip crumbs remained on the carpet for our entire stay. the cleanliness of the washroom and shower was below expectations. the house keeping staff also has issues with making of beds. the breakfast room was great. the owner/manager did reach out after checkout and promised to look into the matter.

First time here, definitely won’t be the last! The customer service is TOP notch. Very friendly and efficient. Check in/ checkout was a breeze. Staff is friendly and pleasant. There’s a reason the breakfast keeps getting mentioned in the reviews it’s because its that good. Very clean. Beds with comfortable ( not rock hard as in some places) . Rooms were spacious, no carpet. Area feels safe, no sketchy vibes. I could go on and on. My family didn’t have a single negative thing to say about this place. Impressed.

Excellent breakfast!!! Desk attendant had detailed info on included items. Bed was great. Huge Negative: Old system for the TV. We spent half hour trying to turn on tv. Had to call a technician. There were 2 systems and old remotes. Then we spent wasted much more time trying to find any tv station that we could access for news or movies. We had to call a technician again. Why doesn’t this hotel print CLEAR. Instructions on turning on this old system and INCLUDE a list of the very few included tv channels. We were afraid to turn off the tv. There were no channels with movies while we were stuck in hotel in a one day downpour. They had old dvds if you could think of a title you wanted and that they had.

Very clean hotel staff were great. Breakfast best I have had as a free breakfast for quite sometime. Ok … now the not so good . Walls are paper thin between rooms . Could hear people coughing.and zipping up bags… yes that clear . Also room above us guests were stomping on floor until late hours and early mornings.

The hotel was lovely and clean. The only staff I spoke to, were friendly and nice. It’s the hotel itself. It was so noisy. We could hear the people upstairs, walking or moving til about 1:00am and then it started up again just before 7:00 am. Other than that, it was great

Excellent hotel. Very clean, comfortable. Very friendly staff. The pool is indeed heated, not like advertised at other hotels. During the morning power outage, the kitchen staff went above and beyond to serve its guests breakfast. Highly recommend this place.

Everything was perfect until power outtage at 2:30 am on Monday. Half of Halifax was without power so we can't blame the hotel for that. The staff was very accommodating doing the best they could to provide a continental breakfast. Thank them for their efforts that morning.

Stayed here for 4 days. Staff at the reception named Kate was very nice and accommodating and quick with the check-in service. The breakfast was also great, and the staff at the dining hall were very helpful especially Charmaine. She recommends some places to visit during our stay which we enjoyed. The rooms are also clean and spacious. The room service was also fantastic! Overall FRIENDLY STAFF and EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE 10/10

If you want to be in the middle of the action without driving, this location is not for you. It us only 15 minutes to be where all the action is so it was fine for our needs. Breakfast was very good. It was clean with plenty of room. It was connected to a restaurant & they had a bar connected too. Overall a good place to stay

A modern hotel in the Bayers Lake area. If you enjoy Halifax but don’t enjoy the parking and expensive valet services at hotels within the city then I highly recommmend this hotel for a more relaxing experience. It is 2 minutes away from Bayers Lake shopping and about a 10 minute drive to downtown Halifax.

The room was comfortable and service was great. A special thank you to Jess who was able to get us an early check-in (we had taken an overnight flight from Vancouver and were very tired). Breakfast was good. We had excellent meals at the LeRouge Restaurant next door. Location of the hotel made it easy to travel to surrounding areas.
