Staff was very helpful especially Ishvi at the front check in. She was very accommodating in our request. Chef Amit was very hospitable at the buffet. Bellman Gurjant and Harpreet were very welcoming. Overall the hotel is very clean and has nice facilities such as the fitness centre, spa and dining options. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next stay in Chandigarh.

We loved our stay at JW Mariott in Chandigarh. Definitely the 5 atar expwriwnce we were looking for. Rooms were spacious, moden and comfirtable. SPA facility was awesome with both dry sauna and steam room thar we enjoyed a lit. Kids loved the outdoor swimming pool though it was a little small. Breakfast and dinner buffet were great with a lot of options. Staff was super friendly and caring. Big shout out to the chef Amit Nayak who made sure we were taken care of and made special dishes for us. Overall a great experience !

I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights... I really enjoyed the comfort of my room. I also appreciated the sauna. And the different dining options that the hotel offers were also all very enjoyable experiences. I would be very happy to stay here again on my next visit.

I stayed at JW Marriott Hotel Chandigarh on my way back from Shimla to Delhi. The location of the hotel is a bit strange - the accessible room was the furthest from the lift. Everyone at this location, from the luggage attendants, front staff, housekeeping, waiters/waitresses and room service staff were all friendly, greeting us with beautiful smiles every time, and made my husband and I feel very welcomed during our stay. The room was beautiful and clean, we slept well on that amazing mattress and enjoyed the overhead rainfall showerhead. The big screen smart tv made the experience even better. The restaurants were great and we loved the breakfast buffet - all service staff care for you properly, even when the restaurant is busy. This hotel is highly recommended by me and I will definitely be coming here every time I visit Chandigarh. Keep up the work, you have a wonderful team there!

The staff are exceptional - courteous, friendly, respectful, professional. Each and every person made me feel welcome - whether it was Krishna at concierge, or Amrita, Nikita or Shorya at the front desk, or Ravikant who was one of the cleaners on my floor. At breakfast, again, the staff are very well trained. Chefs Pappu and Amit checked up on each diner every day to make sure that the food was to their liking. The wait staff anticipated our needs, bringing coffee and fresh paranthas to our table. A big shout-out to Om, Deshraj and Rajat - 3 of the amazing servers who made breakfast a delight. There are so many other staff that I would like to thank, but unfortunately, I don't have or recall their names. However, it doesn't mean that they in any way offered a subpar service - they were all exceptional, and it is because of their high level of service that guests can overlook minor irritations, such as the hallways not always being vacuumed.

In all honesty, this was the worst 5 star property I’ve ever stayed at. My bathroom sink smelled really bad and appeared to be not cleaned properly. The bin under the table in the room was quite dirty and full of stains on the leather. The mats in the bathroom were also stained and the floor was quite sticky - like it hadn’t been mopped in a while. During check in, the front desk mentioned my breakfast was included and then the next day they charged me for breakfast. I really had a terrible experience here.

On arrival , have told that i am senstive to noise, I was polite on my request . The reception said yes sir , yes sir, yes sir. I was shocked that they booked a room that wall was sharing to elevator , next wall was sharing to service room. Next day , it was resolved. I thanked management. they changed to another room in the same floor. To add surprise more to new room, 430 am in the morning directly above my new room , the cleaning staff started to clean room , drag & move the furniture , so it was much annoying. in which hotel , will they do this? 430 am - 6 am , so much disturbed sleep. the staff must stop saying yes sir yes sir yes sir for all. They are loosing the comprehension to understand the conversation and request. They must focus on reciprocating the conversation and request.

Room was good, staff OK, but overall this hotel is slipping. I have stayed there three times before and 5 years ago it was great, but it is in decline. They are not investing in it to maintain its quality. It’s small things really, like the reception desk is worn and frayed, room door does not seal and the noise of people yelling in the hallway is clearly heard in the room, and the staff seem jaded and disinterested. It’s still a fairly nice hotel and the room layout is one of the nicest you’ll find. But it just needs a refresh. It was the best in Chandigarh and it would be great if it could maintain that.

I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights... I really enjoyed the comfort of my room. I also appreciated the sauna. And the different dining options that the hotel offers were also all very enjoyable experiences. I would be very happy to stay here again on my next visit.

We stayed at this lovely looking hotel twice. One night on our way to Shimla and a second night the following week on our return. Our first experience was frankly poor. The staff are friendly and welcoming but the condition of the room very poorly maintained. A crash heralded the shower gel dispenser falling off the wall. Towel hooks spun without being usable. Next the telephone fell off the wall. The hot water in the bath was lukewarm. All this was disappointing and below expectations for a hotel in this category, however the worst was to come. We asked for a price for a hotel car to take us to Kalka railway station some 30 minutes drive. I was certain I had misheard when I was told 15,000 rupees (£150 approx). Checking with the manager, the price was confirmed. I asked if we could book a local taxi and was told the hotel ‘could not do this’. Instead I downloaded the Uber app. The ride cost 950 rupees (about £9.50). Frankly this was extortionate on the part of the hotel. I did complain on leaving and the room manager, Saumik, was very apologetic. On our return the following week he greeted us and upgraded us. I would also give praise to Vishal at reception who was courteous, helpful and efficient throughout and particularly in helping us with return flights. Sadly would not recommend this hotel.

Honestly, this is probably an okay hotel you probably could get in Chandigarh I won’t say it’s crazy good but it’s okay rooms are a little outdated should work on remodeling for sure it’s safeguards at night service is okay had to call multiple times on certain request to get things done properly. We also had 9 month baby with us which staff in buffet was extremely helpful like holding the baby playing with it so my son doesn’t cry by best experience was with lady who cleans room and staff in buffet are great people !

On arrival , have told that i am senstive to noise, I was polite on my request . The reception said yes sir , yes sir, yes sir. I was shocked that they booked a room that wall was sharing to elevator , next wall was sharing to service room. Next day , it was resolved. I thanked management. they changed to another room in the same floor. To add surprise more to new room, 430 am in the morning directly above my new room , the cleaning staff started to clean room , drag & move the furniture , so it was much annoying. in which hotel , will they do this? 430 am - 6 am , so much disturbed sleep. the staff must stop saying yes sir yes sir yes sir for all. They are loosing the comprehension to understand the conversation and request. They must focus on reciprocating the conversation and request.

They follow a wrong proscedure of debiting from the credit card without actually giving you a detailed preview bill . Staff was very helpful especially Ishvi at the front check in. She was very accommodating in our request. Chef Amit was very hospitable at the buffet. Bellman Gurjant and Harpreet were very welcoming. Overall the hotel is very clean and has nice facilities such as the fitness centre, spa and dining options. Great stay again. We were here just recently and the staff did not disappoint at all. Ishvi was very nice and helpful in arranging our rooms per our request. Gurjant, Harpreet and Gurvinder were always very welcoming at the entrance and assisted with our bags. Thanks to Amit, Nayak, KG and Deepak for providing us a wonderful experience at the breakfast buffet daily. Will definitely be back at this hotel again as it’s our favorite in Chandigarh by far.

Each and every person made me feel welcome - whether it was Krishna at concierge, or Amrita, Nikita or Shorya at the front desk, or Ravikant who was one of the cleaners on my floor. At breakfast, again, the staff are very well trained. Chefs Pappu and Amit checked up on each diner every day to make sure that the food was to their liking. The wait staff anticipated our needs, bringing coffee and fresh paranthas to our table. A big shout-out to Om, Deshraj and Rajat - 3 of the amazing servers who made breakfast a delight. There are so many other staff that I would like to thank, but unfortunately, I don't have or recall their names. However, it doesn't mean that they in any way offered a subpar service - they were all exceptional, and it is because of their high level of service that guests can overlook minor irritations, such as the hallways not always being vacuumed.

Excellent food made by chef Rahul and Dinesh and loved the hospitality by them. They made fresh Dosa and kulcha and later on desh jalebi and masala chai and explained the ingredients and way they make. Dinesh made fresh chili chicken and was tender and delicious . They made a special thank you pastry for us ( photo attached) Rahul and Dinesh were clean in chef dress and were very polite and courteous . Overall all the staff was decent. Whenever I visit Chandigarh, will stay at Marriott for sure. Keep up the good work.

Excellent room and bathroom along with excellent service and very polite people. The chefs ask and recommend dishes while dining. They even offer packing food items if you are checking out. I haven't seen this anywhere and I really liked it. There are two things that I didn't like. There was a lot of variety for the buffet dinner but there was a drop in quality in some items especially main course. The other thing was there are items kept in the room's fridge and mini bar. They don't tell you beforehand but they are all chargeable, and they charge way more than the MRP. But overall it was a fantastic place.
