My sister and I attended a wedding in Palmrya, IN, and stayed here due to the convenient location. Vinny and his family keep up a nice property. It was clean and well kept, but the room was a little musty and may need new carpet, as the rest of the room has been renovated. The rooms have mini fridges and microwaves which are great. There is also a guest laundry. The continental breakfast is sufficient and there is a beautiful saltwater aquarium behind the desk. Walmart is nearby for any other needs.

We stayed here while exploring caves on a motorcycle weekend away. When we take the bike we prefer a drive up private entrance and that is what made us book here. It was completely updated and super clean!! And I mean no dirt on the moldings or in the corners clean. We actually liked the room so much we stayed there two nights even though it was an hour further than we wanted to stay night two. There was a picnic table under a cute little gazebo right next to the lobby that we were able to play games on enjoying a nice summer night outside. The owners were very nice and accommodating. The hotel was located about a mile from downtown Salem which was a very quaint historical town. The large Mexican restaurant across from the state building in the town square was a great stop for dinner. We will definitely be back to this knights inn. And the room did look exactly like the pictures!!!

I loved how the property reached out to me personally to make sure that I had a safe trip in. They also were helpful with directions due to traffic. Upon arrival, they had everything ready for my stay and the room and facilities were very clean.

Very clean, very nice aquarium, and the facility had some nice decorating extras! The continental breakfast was very good. The only negative which would be hard to fix is the thin walls and windows which transfers the sounds of neighbors and loud vehicles. The support staff was attentive and friendly. We would stay here again.

Spent 3 nights for a work trip and everything was fantastic. Room and property were very clean and well maintained. Appreciated all of the lights, outlets and USB ports. The suite was spacious and had all amenities needed. Housekeeping did a great job.

Our tub drain was clogged and had previous guests' hair in the tub. It would not drain at all for us after one shower and when I brought it to the office's attention they acted like I shouldn't be upset that I was not able to use the shower I paid for. The bed was okay, but not very comfortable. The bright blue light on the ceiling from I assume a wifi signal booster was in our eyes all night too. There was zero solution offered for our shower issue other than asking me if I tried to remove and clean the clog (as if that is MY responsibility). I requested a partial refund and was rudely denied. They "couldn't" give me a receipt in person but said they'd email it to me. Hours later I had to call and demand my receipt be sent to my email immediately. They also charged me a reservation and check in fee at the property which were NOT part of what I reserved through Hotels.com

Carpets in the room were absolutely disgusting!!! Put our daughter on the floor to stretch out and crawl after an over 5hr car ride, after around 15 mins i looked down to see her knees, hands and feet completely covered in brown! It was absolutely gross!!!

I have stayed at this property a handful of times over the past 10 years when we visit the area for a Maple syrup festival. We enjoyed our stay this time just like all of the others. I really like the addition of the kitchenette to the suites. It’s nice to have a space to prepare a meal and not have to resort to fast food.

Overall, nice room. Bed was decently comfortable. Shower was nice. Loved the separate sleeping and sitting areas. My only complaint about the room was the TV in the sitting area. The volume wouldn't go lower than 16, and it was blasting loud!! Breakfast was only from 6-9, which the desk clerk has not mentioned, so we missed it. The desk clerk didn't really provide any information at all.

Room was in good condition, there was a slight smell though. Housekeeper was very nice and lovely. You can hear the people keying in to the rooms next door pretty easily. One of my coworkers who used to be a police officer said they tended to get a lot of calls for crackheads around the area, and recommended if I visited again that I stay somewhere else. I don't have high standards so it was fine, but definitely wouldn't have kept my mom there.

It was ok for a small town. I was there for a funeral. A lot of construction in front of motel on the main Street. Had to go around everything that was being repaired.

We came into town late for personal business the next day. Had booked online and called to let them know we needed late check-in. They were very nice and let us know about construction around their facility. When we arrived we had issues finding. We called and they navigated us around. we have a nice stay!

I booked this hotel because my experience with it was very good last year. The hotel is still clean and well kept, with daily housekeeping. But there is road work around the hotel that makes it extremely difficult to get there. But no messages from hotel owners about access problem. Besides, upon check-in the hotel owner tried to charge me a rate that was different from my booking rate and only after I mentioned it he looked up my reservation. What is the point making reservations if the hotel management does not even look at them? These issues with access and billing made my trip much less pleasing than I had expected.

Overall, nice room. Bed was decently comfortable. Shower was nice. Loved the separate sleeping and sitting areas. My only complaint about the room was the TV in the sitting area. The volume wouldn't go lower than 16, and it was blasting loud!! Breakfast was only from 6-9, which the desk clerk has not mentioned, so we missed it. The desk clerk didn't really provide any information at all.

My sister and I attended a wedding in Palmrya, IN, and stayed here due to the convenient location. Vinny and his family keep up a nice property. It was clean and well kept, but the room was a little musty and may need new carpet, as the rest of the room has been renovated. The rooms have mini fridges and microwaves which are great. There is also a guest laundry. The continental breakfast is sufficient and there is a beautiful saltwater aquarium behind the desk. Walmart is nearby for any other needs.

We stayed here while exploring caves on a motorcycle weekend away. When we take the bike we prefer a drive up private entrance and that is what made us book here. It was completely updated and super clean!! And I mean no dirt on the moldings or in the corners clean. We actually liked the room so much we stayed there two nights even though it was an hour further than we wanted to stay night two. There was a picnic table under a cute little gazebo right next to the lobby that we were able to play games on enjoying a nice summer night outside. The owners were very nice and accommodating. The hotel was located about a mile from downtown Salem which was a very quaint historical town. The large Mexican restaurant across from the state building in the town square was a great stop for dinner. We will definitely be back to this knights inn. And the room did look exactly like the pictures!!!

We stayed in the suites. We were pleasantly surprised seeing as it is a motel. The room was big, spacious, clean, and Neely remodelled. Looked like a beautiful hotel stay. Only downside was the lack of breakfast options.

Property recently remodeled. Rooms clean, recently painted, room AC worked well (summer temps). Bathroom clean and functional. Checkin easy, host friendly and helpful, suggested good dining choices. Would stay there again.

Overall I think the rooms are good rooms for the price. I do believe that the Continental breakfast offered could be a little better. The comfort of the beds I don't believe are the best either they're really firm other than that it was a really good stay. Checking in as easy and checking out it's easy

Very clean, very nice aquarium, and the facility had some nice decorating extras! The continental breakfast was very good. The only negative which would be hard to fix is the thin walls and windows which transfers the sounds of neighbors and loud vehicles. The support staff was attentive and friendly. We would stay here again.

Very well-maintained facility. The rooms look newly remodeled and very nice! Check-in was easy, and the staff was friendly. This will be my first choice if I need a place to stay in Salem again.

I don't usually stay at a Knights Inn but last year after reading the positive reviews I thought we'd take a chance. When we are just passing through a town for 1 night I search out for inexpensive hotels with good reviews. Places that are clean, comfortable beds and a light breakfast. This place is all of those so we stayed again this year as we were passing through again. They have updated this motel very nicely and in the process of updating all the bathrooms. Owners are very welcoming.
